Hotel La Désirade is a wonderful place to stay , in a beautiful location. It is very well run by a lovely family who make you feel very welcome. The restaurant is excellent with a good choice of 4 courses every evening . The breakfast is good too.

I stayed at the wonderful Désirade for 3 nights and it was too short or May be not because if I had stay longer I might have stayed there for ever! Why ? Because it’s a welcoming environment with efficient people who help and answer any question, delicious food and ideal spa and swimming pool, rental bicycles and services…

Beautiful 3-star hotel with beautiful rooms, good food, practical because in the hotel, a beautiful garden, professional staff who speak English well, but we liked to speak French to continue practicing French, but we were disappointed by the small lunch because we ate little but no commercial gesture at the time of the invoice when we would have appreciated a discount on breakfast because we had clearly shown that we only had little little breakfast

The hotel is. simple, pool looks better in pictures, but generally clean and does the job, but nothing fancy. Quite pricy for what you get, at least at the dates. we went .Breakfast is good but over priced 19 euros. Location is good, the island is not big anyway.

A 3 star hotel at the price of a 4 star hotel, stuffy decoration, small room with little charm, a noisy and not very relaxing swimming pool, a breakfast with little choice especially in the salty, we will not recommend this hotel to our friends

Extremely pretty, enjoyed the pool and spa facilities. Just a beautiful setting and a very warm welcome from reception. Room were very well equipped and extremely comfortable. Everything you could need and more. Fantastic setting.

When we arrived in the room, we were surprised that there was no tea bag with the kettle, also surprised that there was not a balcony because given the price paid per night we expected a more upscale offer, the products offered in the bathroom with little choice, reusable flip flops still wet when we arrived, a suspicious stain on our pillow, we had gone to the reception not to file a complaint but to understand, we were greeted aggressively, you will notice that we regularly write comments on trip advisor and we never put a 1/5 but never a manager is allowed to speak this way to my wife, you talk about ecology but your swimming pool is heated and not by solar panels, at night your garden is heavily watered and not by recovery water, we imagine that you will contact us but we preferred to forget our stay with you because we consider that the price paid to you was simply exorbitant and we love hotels where the customer is king

We’ve just stayed 5 wonderful nights at this lovely quiet hotel. Run by Pierre, Benedicte and family it is everything you need for a peaceful getaway. The staff are all fantastic, friendly and efficient. The restaurant is superb. The cosy room very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely pool and gardens. Right by the bus stop so no need for a car and bike hire available too. We walked miles on the nearby coast path. For personal reasons we had a few sad days and we could not have been more supported and cared for by all staff but especially Pierre Benedicte snd Anna. Our first visit to the island and Pierre gave good advice about where to go and what to see. Highly recommended.

Fabulous for fans of hotels with excellent bedding, a beautiful heated swimming pool, a "to die for" breakfast buffet. Thankfully, there is no wifi in the rooms...so you can relax COMPLETELY. Centrally located on Belle Ile en Mer, this hotel has GREAT, friendly service in all simplicity. We have stayed at other hotels on the island in this price range. The rooms are much more spacious and the heated swimming pool in the interior courtyard is well protected from the wind. Excellent staff. We will definitely return to this wonderful hotel.
