Geneva Hotels with Bars

The hotel was super convenient to get to. After landing at the airport, we just walked straight there. Google Maps showed it was a little over 800 meters, but it felt closer to 1 kilometer, maybe a bit more. Luckily, check-in was a breeze – paid the deposit, got the room key. Since I was in town for a trade show, convenience was my top priority. The hotel's shuttle bus service to and from the exhibition center was a lifesaver! In the afternoon, I just had to call the front desk and they'd send the bus to pick me up from the venue, which was incredibly thoughtful. Plus, having a gym was a huge bonus; it was great to squeeze in a run or a workout in my free time.

I booked this as an 'airport hotel,' but you actually still need to take a shuttle bus. You have to wait for it outside the airport, where the taxis park. Geneva Airport's management isn't very convenient; there were no staff to ask, and I couldn't find any hotel parking signs. It took me ages to find the bus stop. All the shuttle buses for the various airport hotels seem to stop randomly, so you really have to search, especially if it's your first time staying at this hotel, as the bus names aren't always easy to recognize. I missed the first bus because it was too crowded, and the second one was also full – I almost missed it too! They run about every 20 minutes. Luckily, Trip.com's service was excellent and helped me with the address.

The location is superb! It's right across the road from Geneva train station, and it's super convenient for car rentals, dining, and a walk to the lake to see the Jet d'Eau. Getting to the Broken Chair monument is a bit of a longer walk, about twenty minutes, but it's a nice stroll after dinner, especially with the pleasant temperatures. I wouldn't recommend walking there during the day, though, as it can get quite sunny.

I recently spent 8 nights at the InterContinental Genève. Overall, my stay was comfortable, and there were several aspects worth mentioning. The room was quite spacious—especially for a solo traveler like me—which made it easy to settle in and relax during a longer stay. However, the décor felt a bit outdated, and there were areas with noticeable dust, which affected the overall impression of cleanliness. Housekeeping visited the room every day, which I appreciated, but despite the daily service, the room still wasn’t as clean as I would expect from a hotel of this standard—particularly for an 8-night stay. Most of the front desk staff were wonderful. They were polite, attentive, and professional, and their warm service truly enhanced the experience. Unfortunately, there was one exception: a female staff member wearing thick black glasses. Her tone and attitude were not very pleasant, and her facial expressions made the interaction feel uncomfortable, which contrasted sharply with the excellent service from the rest of the team. In summary, while the spacious room—perfect for someone staying alone—and the generally outstanding service were definite positives, the outdated décor, dust, and inconsistent staff attitude are areas that could be improved. My 8-night stay was overall decent, but there is room for improvement to meet the level of quality expected from a hotel in this category.

We arrived early at 9am and front desk staff is kind to allow check in upon checking there are rooms availabilty. The location of the hotel is good. Just 2 tram stop away from Cornavin Station. Walk 3 mins to Butini tram station, which can assess almost all the places of interests In Geneve. Rooms are clean and staffs are helpful and friendly. Highly recommened.

The location is pretty convenient, and it is a surprise that before checking in, a public traffic ticket will be sent via email. Btw, the self-check-in process is quick and simple. It's indeed a good experience! My friend likes the hotel's breakfast very much. Five stars!

The hotel boasts an excellent location with spacious and tidy rooms, complete facilities, comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast offers a rich variety. It's great value for money, making it an excellent choice for both business trips and leisure travel. Definitely worth staying again.

Great location! Turn left out of the hotel, then right at the first intersection, and you're practically at the train station. It's only one stop to the airport. The hotel sent an email well in advance with a link to a transport card, which was super useful for buses, ferries, and even the train to the airport. The service was excellent, with a 24-hour coffee machine offering coffee and hot chocolate, plus bananas and lemonade. Sina at the front desk was the most polite and enthusiastic person we met on our entire France and Switzerland trip – she really made our stay! The room was quite small though, and only had two disposable paper cups for rinsing.

Swiss hotels are relatively expensive due to limited space, but this time, because my trip was longer, I booked a slightly larger double room with a view of the Jet d'Eau. From my room, I could see the fountain and the beautiful old buildings in the surrounding square. The room had three windows, which were very bright when open. My room also had a small luggage compartment. The hotel was very clean, and there was bus number 10 nearby that goes directly to and from the airport. However, you need to bring your own basic toiletries as they are not provided. It's a short walk from the city center, but not too far. There's a Burger King nearby, but for something better, you need to go to the train station where there's a Chinese restaurant; the food is decent. The hotel floors are wooden, which felt cleaner than carpet. Considering the high cost of living in Switzerland, this hotel is quite good value and worth recommending.

Great location, easily accessible via bus from Geneva airport. Hotel is linked to a mall with many options for food from restaurants to McDonald's to food court. Clean and nice room.
