Zermatt Hotels with Bars

Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

Our room faced the Matterhorn directly! Absolutely stunning! In the morning, you don't even need to go to a viewpoint to see the 'golden' sunrise on the mountain, and the evening view is just as incredible! This hotel is completely worth it just for the views alone! The service, needless to say, was exceptional and very attentive! Someone was there to pick us up right at the train station when we arrived, and they also dropped us off at check-out, saving us the hassle of dragging our luggage around. The hotel room itself was very new and spacious!

Great location! In front of the station. Only 100 m can walk about 1-2 mins from the station. Very kindly and nice staff and owner. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and large. It feel like home with staff. I recommend you to stay in this hotel. If I come back Zermatt again, I’ll stay this hotel again. I’m in Snow storm disaster in Zermatt on 17th-19th April 2025. The waiter's attitude is good, the breakfast is very good, the choice is many, the hotel is very convenient, very clean, there are many restaurants next to it, not far from the train station and the cable car station, very convenient

This hotel is our lucky hotel! We ended the bitter wind and rain in Switzerland here and finally saw the Matterhorn! This hotel itself is also great. The interior layout and design are very cleverly using the elements of the Matterhorn. Moreover, we only made a temporary reservation at 6 or 7 last night. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room type. The room is so big and has a large balcony. There are free coffee and tea in the room. Their breakfast is also great. Because I was in a hurry to go up the mountain in the morning, I didn’t take any photos, but the breakfast is very rich, with various fresh fruits such as strawberries and kiwis, freshly fried meats such as bacon and grilled sausages, as well as vegetables such as broccoli and mushrooms, as well as various breads, juices and milk, and even freshly squeezed orange juice. You can also go to the bar and order a cappuccino. In short, you can eat very satisfying! The best thing is that this hotel also has a pick-up service. We originally had to drag the big box to the train station for more than ten minutes, and the small car took us directly there. It took a few minutes and arrived super fast! I promise that I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I come to Zermatt!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

The staff were not particularly responsive, and we had an awkward interaction at 8:00 AM when housekeeping knocked rather loudly and seemed annoyed that we were not ready to vacate the room yet. Additionally, when we went down for breakfast at 9:00 AM, most of it had already been cleared away, despite the official notice stating it runs until 10:00 AM. On a positive note, the hotel does offer a convenient perk: just be sure to book their free transit shuttle to/from the train station ahead of time.

Amazing accommodation in Zermatt. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. They provided a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel with a short introduction to Zermatt by the driver. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The Matterhorn was just right there we can see it from our bed. Although there were some construction crane blocking a little bit but I don’t mind at all. Breakfast was also nice. I absolutely love our experience at this hotel and will gladly come back again on our next vacation in Zermatt.

Enjoyed the stay at the hotel, highly recommended. Hotel staffs were friendly and made a little hotel tour to let us know the facilities. Room arranged by the hotel was great with fantastic Mountain View. Breakfast spread was better than expected. Do note that hotel room does not come with aircondlting. It was alright as we kept the balcony door opened with natural cool airflow.

This hotel in Zermatt is definitely a surprise on the trip. Our group of three made an appointment in early October, because the Swiss price was higher, and the underground triple room was originally booked. I didn't expect the front desk to upgrade the room for us and upgrade to the second floor! Not only is the view very good, the balcony is intuitive to Matterhorn (I didn't see it on the day due to the weather, I saw it after checking out the next day), but the sofa bed has also been laid out and the service is in place. Less than ten minutes walk from the town, there is a supermarket along the way to meet the supply. Breakfast is rich and everything is great! There are hot springs outdoors and indoors. I often see people soaking. Every room in the hotel provides hot spring supplies. It is recommended to stay. Try to choose a regular price room, because the view is really a plus, leaving a good memory for a lifetime.
