Guest UserThe hotel's location is excellent and the design is very cozy. The breakfast was also fantastic! We arrived quite late, so we missed the afternoon tea, but the front desk told us we could have it the next day. Due to our itinerary, we'll have to save it for next time. The hotel upgraded our room, and we slept so well, we didn't even want to leave the hotel!

Facilities: A bit old-fashioned.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Environment: Loved it, a perfect family-friendly hotel.
Service: Good.
The hotel's own activities are suitable for young children.
It's very close to the beach, so getting to the sand is super convenient. My kids' favorite activity every day was walking to the beach. After they got tired of playing, we'd head back to rest, and from our room, we could hear the sound of the waves. It truly felt like 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms all around'.

Four Seasons service, endless warmth!
Because of the Four Seasons Hotel Dalian, our trip to Dalian was particularly unforgettable! Special thanks to:
Jane, the hotel's duty manager, was especially nice. She continuously and attentively cared for us, even messaging us before check-out to ask if we needed any room supplies.
Special thanks to Ms. Adale from the Guest Experience Department. She contacted me three days before check-in and proactively helped upgrade our room type.
I also want to thank the kind lady who provided the turn-down service in our room. Seeing that there was no place to hang our child's clothes, she proactively asked her colleague to bring a 'spider-style' drying rack. Thanks to the young lady who served me iced Americano at breakfast – I don't know your name, but your sunshine-like smile brightened our trip...
That's all!
Special wishes to all the hardworking staff at Four Seasons Hotel Dalian:
May your mornings and evenings be peaceful, and may you find joy in all seasons!

Xixixixi321The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Happy Beach Gate 4, and within walking distance of Discovery Kingdom. Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a sea-view room, which I really appreciated.
However, I can't give a good rating for a few reasons:
1. As soon as we got to the room, I called the front desk for children's slippers and toothbrushes. After waiting half an hour with no delivery, I ended up getting them from a housekeeping staff member in the hallway.
2. In the afternoon, I called the front desk for disposable cups. Again, after waiting half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. I had to call again to follow up before they finally sent a robot to deliver them. We then left the room, and when we returned in the evening, we found two disposable cups sitting on the floor outside our door! Isn't putting paper cups on the floor unhygienic?
3. The hotel advertises free sand-digging tools. We stayed for two nights, and every time we went to get tools, they were either unavailable or broken!
4. Our room on the fifth floor wasn't particularly noisy, but as soon as you stepped out of the elevator, the hallway had an odd smell that I couldn't quite place. The bedding also felt damp, making for an uncomfortable stay.
For a Trip.com 5-diamond hotel with such a prime location, this was truly disappointing. It seems you really do get what you pay for!

AifusiliqijiguangRooms here are really in high demand; it was impossible to extend my stay. Aside from a long wait during check-in, everything else was fantastic: the fifth-floor garden is charming both day and night, and the room's crystal chandeliers and carved wall decorations exude the luxury of an economic boom period. Even the chairs are incredibly heavy – they really spared no expense with the materials! However, the curtain on one of the windows in my room was broken and wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of light as soon as it got bright outside. Other than that, everything was perfect!

kk0808Although this is an older five-star hotel, my impression was that it would be lavish but with outdated facilities. However, this hotel has kept up with the times. The hairdryer was upgraded to a Laifen, which works wonderfully, and the toilet is a smart Panasonic model. There's a smart alarm clock by the bed with a night light, wireless charging, and a radio.
In terms of service, they upgraded our room type and even helped us secure a reservation for the Hong Kong-style buffet when it was fully booked. When we left, they gave a doll to our child, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Special thanks to Vivian for her attentive service.
If I had to pick one downside, it would probably be that the hotel has too many rooms. It was fully booked during our entire stay, and we had to queue for breakfast every day. As three families traveling together, we couldn't sit together for breakfast even once.

LingerxiaojiaoziNow that my trip is over, I still want to review my stay. I chose this hotel because it was already in my favorites when I decided to visit Dalian. I picked it primarily for the scenic views, and indeed, the hotel's location and the room's view were quite good, and the staff service was okay. However, there were a few aspects that were rather mediocre.
Firstly, the mattress and pillows. After a five-hour drive, I didn't get that comfortable, refreshing feeling when I lay down. The mattress even felt like it had a springy texture. For someone like us, who just wanted to relax at the hotel and explore a bit, this significantly impacted our travel experience. We stayed for four consecutive days, and every day felt like an endurance test; I even considered switching hotels for the last two days.
Secondly, the shower. The overhead shower didn't work, so my 6'3” partner had to use the handheld showerhead, which was quite low, even for me. More importantly, the water temperature was unstable; for all four days, it kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Since showering isn't exactly the time to call for assistance, I just had to bear with it, dodging the water when it got too hot or too cold.
Thirdly, breakfast and meals. Given the hotel's somewhat secluded location, I suggest they improve their dining options. On our first day, we had planned to enjoy a nice dinner, but there really weren't many choices. Also, for a resort hotel, breakfast ending at 9 AM is far too early. Even budget hotels like Hanting and Atour now serve until 10:30 or 11 AM.
There were also some minor issues, like running out of complimentary water in the room. When we asked for more, the water provided wasn't the same brand as the original. Honestly, how much cost can they save by doing that? But it certainly detracts from the guest experience. I had initially hoped to make this hotel my go-to choice for future Dalian vacations, especially since it has its own small beach. I hope the owner collects guest feedback and focuses on optimizing the actual experience, especially considering the price point. This stay was definitely not as comfortable as the two days we spent in Shanhaiguan.

Guest UserTraveling to Dalian during peak season, I chose the Pullman and stayed for four nights. I was lucky enough to get a room upgrade to a junior suite, which was absolutely fantastic! After turning on the air conditioning for a bit, there was no strange odor in the room. It faced Labor Park, and the upward-leading stairs from the window were very pleasing to look at. The hotel's location is super convenient; there are several shopping malls right across the street. It's also easy to get to trendy Nanshan Road, and taking a taxi to Amber Bay or Xinghai is a breeze. The suite had one bedroom, one living room, and one bathroom. The bedding was comfortable, not too soft, and the bathroom had a separate shower and a large bathtub. Every time I came back from exploring, it felt like returning to a cozy home. Lying on the sofa in the living room, eating some fruit, watching TV, and browsing on my phone – it was just so relaxing. A truly excellent experience, highly recommended!

Guest UserThis is a warm and cozy hostel with a bar and pool table. Along the staircase there are pieces of artwork for you to pause and appreciate. There are also two cuddly cats to keep you company late an night if you prefer to spend time in the common area. The microwave is a life saver on those mornings during which you have to head out super early. Apart from the subway station which is a five minute walk from the hostel, there is actually a bus stop right in front with public buses taking you directly (no luggage scans! No line transfers!) to the People’s Square, Zhongshan Square, Russian Village and even the airport.

The room was spacious and clean. I just wonder if it's disinfected after every guest, especially since it's a pet-friendly hotel, and I'm a bit concerned about other dogs having skin issues. Overall, it's pretty good, but there's no suitable place nearby for dog walking or bathroom breaks.
