Dalian Beach Hotels

I booked late, so I could only get a Quiet Room. The room was very clean, and the bedding was excellent. The front desk service was also good. This hotel has been open for many years. There are private rooms upstairs and a buffet downstairs. It's very close to the beach, and the Tongniu Mountain Scenic Area is right next to it. Overall, it was a great experience.

The B&B manager was very attentive, calling me before my arrival to confirm my check-in time and whether I needed a travel photoshoot service. After checking in, they sent daily WeChat messages about breakfast times and if I needed housekeeping for an extended stay. If you're driving, there's convenient parking available, and you can pay for parking once per day. I booked the terrace sea-view loft room. The modern minimalist decor was very comfortable, and I could see Fisherman's Wharf directly from the terrace. The B&B also has a viewing platform on the third-floor terrace, offering a superb environment. If the weather is good, it's perfect for photos. The B&B offers a complimentary travel photoshoot service, including 5 free retouched photos. Both the photographer and the retoucher are highly skilled – I highly recommend it! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Dalian.

I just got back from an amazing stay at Amano Hotel in Dalian, and I can’t recommend it enough! Being so close to Xinghai Beach was a game-changer—I loved starting my mornings with a stroll on the sand. The hotel itself felt really welcoming, with cozy rooms that made me feel right at home. The staff were really friendly, always ready to chat or offer tips on what to see in the area. There's usually sojourners who can speak English to help international tourists. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. I’m already planning my next visit!

I chose Fraser Suites Dalian for my business trip this time, and it was a fantastic experience. The one-bedroom apartment had a well-designed layout, complete with all necessary appliances, and the hygiene was impeccable. There's a mall right downstairs and the subway is very close, making commuting and dining incredibly convenient. The apartment building offers a 24-hour front desk, and Archer provided excellent service. With a gym and swimming pool, it's quiet and not noisy, perfect for both work and relaxation. It's suitable for both short and long stays, making it an ideal choice for business travelers.

This stay exceeded our expectations! The hotel was clean and fresh throughout, with no strange smells in the room. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were quick, and the staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. It was very family-friendly for staying with kids; the room had ample space for activities, and safety details were well thought out. The staff were very kind to our little one and even offered children's amenities proactively. The hotel is conveniently located near various facilities, making it easy to entertain the kids. Our whole family had a wonderful stay.

A beautiful apartment with a view of the fishing port. The terrace, sunny all day, is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and relaxing. The apartment is very stylish, a blend of industrial and romantic elements. Everything is very well-equipped, and the location is peaceful. The service is excellent, with a very professional approach to our requests. The resident dog is a real bonus. Very friendly, he's the hotel's mascot. The included breakfast was delicious and prepared entirely to order. The surrounding area is fantastic, with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of fresh seafood and fish right at the port, barbecue-style. An excellent restaurant completes the experience, just two minutes from the hotel.

Convenient for going out, and the breakfast was quite good. The sea view at Grand Hyatt Dalian is definitely the best in the city, situated right on Xinghai Square, with the beach just a short walk downstairs. The fan-shaped layout ensures almost every room has a sea view, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Xinghai Bay Bridge. The evening lights create a fantastic atmosphere. The heated pool offers great views, allowing you to enjoy the seascape even while swimming. The 'Chef's Table' buffet has a rich variety, especially with a good selection of seafood and desserts. The overall service was proper, and check-in efficiency was acceptable. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel has been open for many years, so some facilities show a bit of age, and during peak season, breakfast can get crowded, requiring a wait for a table. If you're coming to Dalian and want to experience the city's premier sea view, the Grand Hyatt remains an excellent choice. You can enjoy the entire bay from the comfort of your bed, making for a very pleasant vacation experience.

Maybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it. The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim. The room is clean with full amenities. Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended. They also have live band at night. The water pressure in the room also low.

The hotel's硬件 (hardware) is well-maintained, and it boasts a prime C-position sea view of Donggang. Although it shares a building with the Hilton, each has its own entrance, preventing it from getting overly noisy due to accommodating two hotels simultaneously. Maggie from the Guest Relations Department called me in advance and added me on WeChat, consistently helping to improve my stay experience throughout. Furthermore, an unexpected room upgrade during the Mid-Autumn Festival was a pleasant surprise. The executive lounge's à la carte service during off-peak seasons and no à la carte on holidays goes against the usual hotel model, but it does reduce waiting times for meals during holiday periods. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations.

How to put it? A Hilton that's resting on its laurels. The location is indeed excellent, and the sea view is beautiful. The room is quite spacious, with a large bathroom. The room itself is decent. The bedding is good, and they even provided a latex pillow when requested. The downsides are also very obvious. Check-in was incredibly slow. During peak weekend hours, there were only two staff members processing check-ins, and there was also a group checking in. The queue took about ten minutes, but at least the service attitude was okay. The breakfast was, frankly, terrible. I've never had such an unappetizing five-star hotel breakfast. I walked around the breakfast area three times and could only find a tiny selection. The juice wasn't pure, the pastries were dry, and the Chinese dim sum consisted entirely of pre-made buns and steamed bread. The lady making pancakes had a particularly ”friendly” attitude, saying directly, ”If you can wait half an hour, take a number.” At the noodle station, the braised beef topping was all gone, only radish was left, and there was no intention of replenishing it (this was around 9:10 AM), as staff were already discussing packing up. My advice is, don't waste money on the breakfast. Book a room without breakfast and either order takeout or eat out.
