What a GREAT FATHERS DAY to Celebrate for my Husband! Wow- 2 days of Fantastic Golf at Candlestone, we are both STILL in the "After-glow" since Sunday! We stayed over-nite so Tom could golf (my gift) BOTH days (EVERY mans dream), we had SO much fun with the Amazing Staff! First off- Julie and Henry and Kennedy had our Suite to Perfection when we checked-in. Second, the pro shop was the best staff with Doug and wonderful wife Cory, the are ALL so into making it a great time! We just love them and their attitude! Thirdly, the meals for 2 days were VERY good!!!! The bar staff and our DEAR MOLLY was amazing! EVERYONE staffed there CARES!!!! I just cannot EXPRESS this enough! The golf course is sooooo Beautiful and Just Majestic, very well maintained,. Candlestone IS THE PLACE,I strongly feel WE found o ur HOME ! xoxox- Bonnie House

Place was ok, I’d recommend gettin a room as far as possible from front desk, breakfast and bar right there, very noisy at night and early in morning

When we checked in the room we were given already had someone else's stuff in it. When I told the girl who checked us in, she seemed shocked and surprised and unsure what to do. She at first wanted us to wait while she cleaned the room, however I was not comfortable with that, due to the fact that someone else may have a key to the room. She then talked with another employee who seemed not to care. Another employee came in and she told him what was going on and he was shocked and offered us another room. The 2nd room we were given was ok, however, the bathroom door did not latch when shut.

I was surprised at how outdated and gloomy this property was. This reminded me of a cheap roadside motel. I was expecting more with this property being situated on a golf course.

Place was not even open when we got there had to look for another place to stay. Ran out of hours for my commercial truck and that’s bad for our DOT Number

Rooms are not insulated against noise from adjoining rooms. On Friday night there were guests including families with young children running around and others talking loudly until past 2:30 AM. Not much sleep for me!
Also, the drain pop-up for the bathroom sink did not pop-up when the push rod was moved although that rod was connected to the pop-up mechanism under the sink. I had to use my fingernails to grasp the pop-up to drain the sink after use.

It had friendly staff and they allowed us to have an extra hour after check out. When we arrived and got into the room we noticed that there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub. Not enough to detoure us from staying again esp since the staff was so friendly.
