Hello, We booked two rooms via makemytrip. The room category is listed as Exotica rooms. The configuration of beds mentioned while booking says King bed or Twin bed. The image section shows images of a king bed. We went ahead with the booking presuming that the room would have king bed. During check-in the person at the front desk said we are being allotted a twin bed & mentioned the room category of 'Exotica room' is a 'virtual category' & the configuration of the room offered is at Taj's discretion. This came as a total surprise because we had travelled with a nursing infant & it was impossible for us to manage in two separate beds. On strongly insisting, we were given a room with king bed & in the other room two of the beds were put together to turn it into a king bed. Solving this problem delayed our check-in by almost an hour, we had arrived at the property by 3.15 & got the room at almost 4. This set a really negative benchmark at the beginning of the experience. The information listed online is clearly misguiding. There needs to be clarity on what you are offering. Other than this, the experience has been positive. The rooms were great, service was amazing, food was good. Special mention to coach Johnson for a memorable golfing session.

We moved here after one night at another hotel in South Goa which turned out to be a wedding venue, busy and with extremely loud music. The Taj were able to accommodate us in a seaview room and the hotel itself is a haven of peace and tranquility. There is a beautiful pool.and gardens, direct access to the beach and the staff are all really helpful and well trained. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there are some very good local restaurants just outside the hotel if you want a change from hotel dining. Would love to spend a few more days, it's so relaxing!

25/02/2024 I had a wonderful experience with Taj.. it lived up to its name and Brand . Sudhir Swami at front office ensured me & my wife feel special. He went out of way and in short notice arranged/got our room decorated very nicely . He was very patient with our queries and helpful in every aspect.. Restaurant Manager : Deepak Bhatnagar was all ears to our concerns and made all efforts for us to feel satisfied and good about our food experience A bliss and soulful stay all I can say and I will carry these memories for a very long time or until next time :) Thank You !!! So much for making my anniversary special

Well its a lovely property ....period no questions on that large ..weel maintained and beautifully crafted on the sea ...Aayan was very helpfull at checkin ..the room we stayed in was large ..not much of a veiw but comfortable. My only issue was the service ..it was pathetic ..u ask for anything and take about 30 mins to come ...and that too with reminders ..if you by mistake lock yourself out ..God help you as then u have to walk back half a kilometer to the reception...they dont tell you about the house phone around the property .Had food for 3 days at the Sala da pranzo...the service was very unlike Taj ..no one approached you ..no one asked what u want ..ordered a roti to a lady called Juhi ..and after 30.mins remined her only to be told she had forgotten...most waiters were always on their phones chatting or scrolling ....it was very depressing Spa was good ...i hope someone reads this and corrects their short comings

A beautiful property set an a little slice of paradise. Exceptional warm service that went well above and beyond. The service was warm and hospitable and every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after

Everything was fine with a few suggestions requested in for the morning breakfast variety for North Indians was quite less. Service to needs a little tweak under the breakfast timings. Secondly the lights ***** the path way were far lesser as we have a huge green property and at night insects or other creatures might be little difficult to identify. Last but not the least the beach requires more cleanliness and to be free from stray dogs.

We stayed here from 6.6.24 to 8.6.24. When you stay at Taj you expect a flawless experience given the Taj brand and of course the money you shell out for the experience. I was sadly left disappointed with lack of basic amenities at this property. The hotel provides a golf art to move from one place to the other and for a property of this size and stature they didn't have enough golf carts to service guests. On 2 occasions we had to wait more than 15 mins for the cart to arrive, on one occasion about 60 mins and for 40 mins on another. When we redflagged the issue with the staff they said that rain had slowed down the movement of the carts when infant there weren't enough going around. Most guests had the same complaint. Secondly service was slow during dinner buffet with tables not being enough for all the guests. You expect such issues at xyz hotels but not at a Taj Exotica place. I also came across a guest you Siad that she came here every year but was surprised at the poor service levels this year. On a brighter note the property is worth visiting but when I tag this with poor service provided and the money you shell out to come here I won't recommend this place. Better places to splurge on are available.

1. Room - 5/5 2. Buggies - 5/5 3. Resort - 5/5 4. Miguel restaurant - 5/5 - Special mention to the serving staff who recommended the appropriate meal and customised it for toddlers 5. All day restaurant - 3.5/5 - Food could have been better keeping in mind the amount charged per pax. - Live counters were slow (observed over multiple meals) and not coordinated well. Typical wait time of 30-45 mins not ideal. During one meal, the order was missed. - Competitor Resorts typically provide package options (price-wise) for guests who prefer to dine-in all 3 times, this was missing. 6. High Tea service was mentioned in the website but no communication on this aspect. 7. Kids activity centre - Excellent and engaging. Appreciate the staff here.

There was no transfer from airport available, I waited 1 hour outside at airport arrivals gate waiting for hotel cab. After that, room wasn't ready, given the room key at 3.40 pm. I had travelled overnight to reach goa, this much was enough to give me extreme tiredness. Bar bill was waived off where I waited for room to get prepared but still I wanted a nap after travells Plug next to bed was loose, didn't charge the phone. I kept it near coffee machine, again bothering my naps. Fridge didn't cool, technician came and repaired it then it worked Next day, till evening, room wasn't clean. When called housekeeping they said I had dnd switched on, which basically I hadnt touched since I arrived Fair warm water in shower, no hot water came even after waiting and keeping it on for few mins. Now, when checking out, I had informed that plz send buggy at 12.15 am and cab ready at 12.30. Everything else was discussed about my partner checking out late, still I was bothered about clearing bills when I was about to sit in cab. Imagine, I m travelling overnight again and at 12.30 they are asking to clear the bills when someone is still in the room. This could have been informed in my room at 10 pm when I had called for faster check out at midnight. Things done, my dinner at lobster bar with my colleagues was taken care of. But I needed a break, not freebies. I had booked a plunge pool room for relaxing not for such hectic days and extremely difficult transfer services.
