Best Hotels in Big Water

I have finally found the perfectly designed hotel room! Not kidding. Hyatt really did design an amazing hotel room. All the gripes over the years I've had with poorly thought out hotel rooms has stopped with Hyatt Place. Whenever we travel after this, we're going to be looking for Hyatt Place locations. What a great room - great bed with nightstands with easy access plugs and great reading lights. The living room has an awesome L shaped couch with a comfy ottoman for putting your feet up to watch TV. There is a room divider between the bed and living area so that someone can be up reading and not bother someone in bed. There is a mini fridge and plenty of desk space . I love all the lamps in the room with easy on/off toggle switches. The bathroom is awesome - tons of counter space, which is nice for women travelers who have a lot of products. A real shower door! That's a plus. We've stayed in too many hotels that have open, trendy showers where you can't get warm in the shower. Thank you for a real door on the bathroom and great lighting. There's two switches in the bathroom, one being a lower brightness light that comes on, which is nice when you get up in the middle of the night. Love the big shelf underneath the bathroom sink for stashing your stuff. PLUS there is a great bar/dining area downstairs with AWESOME staff - we went down every afternoon or evening and hung out and had drinks and dinner. We didn't want to even leave this place to go into town to eat. Great menu - awesome patio with fire pits, comfy furniture and beautiful sunsets. Lots of international travelers made it interesting. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Great location. Central location close to Wal-Mart, Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Dam, car wash across the street. Took only minutes to get to downtown and restaurant row. We had a large room on the 1st floor. Quiet and very clean. Breakfast was the usual, it was good, fresh and plentiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Tim, at the front desk, was very welcoming. He was always nice friendly. Price was reasonable. Would stay again.

This hotel was my favorite during the entire 20-day trip. The price/performance ratio is very high. The hotel facilities are good, neat and clean. It is very close to attractions such as Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. The breakfast is rich and the service quality is good!

Highly recommend this fast hotel, free parking! Good location next to a small square to eat (recommended restaurant name New York teriyaki). drive from the center is also 5-6 minutes, the room is large and clean, there is a refrigerator and microwave, including breakfast, will come here next time, the price is super high!

Our family loved this hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, There is also a simple kitchen to use. It also has a large table, Family members can eat together. You can also push into the cabinet without taking up space. Breakfast is also very rich and varied. There is also a gym available. The first floor is equipped with coffee and tea.

My family and I had been driving all day long when we arrive at Courtyard Page Lake Powell close to midnight to check in ( reservation made 2 months prior). We are all exhausted and our kids asleep in the car. We are then informed they overbooked our room and had no room for us. No call or notification to let us know. They then called “ a local hotel” to provide us a similar room at no charge. The hotel was 20 min away and required a park pass. Many other hotels within 5 minutes were around. We get to this hotel and it’s disgusting ( water not draining, door wouldn’t lock, horrible smell). We had no choice but to stay there overnight and left early morning. We called Jeremy the manager multiple times and left messages to be reimbursed for the park pass as we had no intention staying at the park, our calls were Ignored. Finally getting through to him trough e mail, he stated he wouldn’t reimburse us for the park pass because they hotel was at no charge. Well you should pay for our disgusting room, YOU OVERBOOKED OUR ORIGINAL ROOM AND DIDNT TELL US!! We have small kids with us. The manger JEREMY L. BUTTS is a poor excuse for a manager!!! STAY AWAY. Will be going up the chain to escalate this. Didn’t even get an apology as if we were at fault. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
