Environment: Very invincible, not much to say, everyone who has lived in Aman knows that the location selection is nb Service: From check in to entering the room, there is no need for any formalities, only credit card authorization is required. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the room Transportation: We drove there from las vegas, and we drove for 4 hours. You can also take a plane to Page, and the hotel will have a BMW pick-up (BMW is one of the shareholders). It is recommended to arrive at the hotel before 4 pm and wait to watch the sunset

our stay. was nice but we are very disappointed because we were dreaming of doing the helicopter trip . Since our arrival we said we wanted it . Yesterday we said we wanted to go to the Monumental Valley . They said they we'll tell us today . In the morning they said they would confirm it . They even wanted to know our weight . In the early afternoon they didn't have a pilot and now they told me there is not availability of helicopter. I have an awful taste they weren't serious giving us hope of something we are not going to do !!! we are in suite 1 and we came all the way from Argentina

Overall Amangiri is a scenic and relaxing resort, but their service leaves much to be desired. On our first day we were forgotten at the Fireside Pavilion. After waiting outside (in the cold) for over 15 minutes I had to remind the staff we were still waiting for our blankets, heaters, and menus. This lack of attention to detail continued throughout our stay. Our itinerary was incorrect, information from the front desk was inconsistent, and errors were made on our bill. In addition, miscommunication from staff was a common theme — none of which were reconciled in a satisfactory manner.

I have to agree with other reviewers service is spotty for the price. The excursions are confusing and not well explained. Gratuity policy seems unclear. But our biggest pet peeve seemed to be with quality of food. All meals are included so you have no other choices. Bread is made in-house and is delicious and you can order food to your room so we order a cheese plate that was inedible. It had crotons on it and some pitiful grapes, cheese was stale - didn’t think you could ruin a cheese plate! We were only there for 2 nights but not impressed with quality of food or service. Grounds are amazing and setting is spectacular, room was beyond comfortable but seems over-hyped would not recommend.

Went with a group of 6 friends. Unfortunately Amangiri was terribly disappointing. Service was pretty much abysmal - had to constantly remind staff of basic requests like menus and dietary restrictions, they forgot our packed lunch for our full day hike, housekeeping at inopportune times, etc. We also overhead the staff talking ill about our group and idly gossiping about us to the other staff members which obviously made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. Communication was poor and there were several mistakes made on our bill at check out. Hotel itself was fine but felt a bit dated. Spa treatments were mediocre at best. That said, the excursions offered (horseback riding, via ferrata, slot canyons) were fantastic.

Amangiri is set in a magical place! We recently spent five nights there in three of the tents and absolutely loved the excursions and one particular waiter, Marcus! But, the service was terribly disappointing. It would have been our hope that, given the reputation and price, it would have been exceptional. It wasn't even acceptable. First, the hotel employees and those in charge of excursions do not communicate, and the hotel staff is not well-informed. That leaves you feeling untethered--not sure where to go or what to do. Second, meals were a constant challenge, except when Marcus was in charge. The main pavilion has lovely fireplaces, but they are rarely lit, even when it is cold outside (I asked several times). It is also strange that instead of an adult place to sit and have a drink or coffee, the middle of the main area is for games and seems childish. Sitting for a before dinner drink is a struggle. We had to complain that no one comes to wait on you. It is actually so strange. Eventually, I think they knew us and someone would come over. But, this is not what you hope for or expect. On our last night we have private dinner (highly recommend) and the manager finally came over with a very lackadaisical hello for a few seconds. Also disappointing. While the tents were large and the beds fabulous, there were no bath products. Aman makes it own. For the prices, they should add some bath products. Nor was there any welcome of fruit or snacks. My 45-minute basic blow out was $350.00. Now I know it is expensive there, but that moves to ridiculous. The spa was pretty and on time, but the massages were mostly forearm massages, not hands and fingers. You end up feeling pushed not relaxed. The pool is very pretty. But, service will be quite slow, and you may have to go find someone on your own. I am not going to return to an Aman hotel for some time. I have had marvelous service in so many upscale hotels in beautiful places. This was not that.

The location and the architecture are unique and special. The food was fantastic. Sadly, the service and attention to detail were lacking. For a very high price point, we expected service that was close to perfection but there wasn’t quite the sense of urgency and service we hoped for. Emails go unanswered for too long, multiple requests had to be made on site for things to be delivered, fixed, etc. and the food service was not prompt. The tipping scenario on site and for activities was unclear as well. 10% service was added on top for each activity but it was not as a gratuity which we only found out too late. I hope things improve as it is truly a special place and likely one of the most i credible Aman properties in the world

Really cool resort in the middle of nowhere. All the staff uniform is Patagonia. Made me feel like I’m supposed to hike or do something adventurous. We went in September when the weather was fair but I can’t imagine being there in the middle of summer. It’s very baron there and not much to do but the resort has very unique spas and pool. There’s also a cave you can host dinners or events at. The premium rooms are actually tents but they’re more like houses wrapped with canvas. Still pretty cool though. I recommend checking it out for 2-3 days at most.

Location, architecture, food and staff were absolutely wonderful, but the resort is starting to show signs of its age. For example, we had a number of HVAC issues - first in our initial room and then in the room we were moved into. Staff were very accommodating and apologetic but at the resort’s price point there is no room for anything but perfection. 4 stars.
