Elegant modern Grand Hotel in Binz located at the end of the beachfront promenade. The walk into the town centre was kinda long. Otherwise the location was nice, across from the beach. The room was large and well appointed, only a few signs of wear and tear, like scratches on the furniture. Unfortunately the spots on the carpeting were many and large. The bathroom was bright and clean. Breakfast buffet was nice, and an individual choice of various egg dishes was available upon request. Big plus, the glass of sparkling wine to start the day.

I was very disappointed about my stay at Grando Hotel Binz. The pictures shown here and on the website don´t show the reality. The hotel has seen its best time years ago. From the rooms to the restaurant, everything looks a bit run down and shabby. The service was not great, not what you would expect in a 5 * hotel. Often not very friendly, not able to give information and often clearly overwhelmed. It was not possible book any SPA appointments like facials. Everything totally booked, although the hotel is putting his wellness offerings in focus on the website. The treatments in the Ayurveda package booked have been much shorter than on the website. When mentioning to the Ayurveda Dr he said March is not a good time to come. We should come back when they can show their real character. Also having red wine and chips in the room in the minibar while doing Ayurveda is kind of strange. So this was for sure the first and the last time at Grand Hotel Binz. Don´t be fooled by 5* and the name Grand Hotel

Grand Hotel Binz was a fine experience. Cosy and warm 5 star atmosphere in the autumn . Fine and spacious room with a view of the sea. Parking in the hotel garage. Solid breakfast - in the room or in the restaurant. Firendly staff all over. Nice stay.

Such a great place and really enjoying our time here at Grand Hotel Binz They really know how to make your stay special and we were so fortunate to meet Lejla and Мартин (Martin) who really have taken us under their wings to make our stay perfect in so may ways. Thank you so much to them and the catering supervisor who have made this such a memorable experience. SHAKERS bar is exceptional with their quality spirits and atmosphere.... a definite surprise in Binz.... we will be back!!

This hotel was very clean, even in the pet friendly room we stayed in. The breakfast was quite good. It is within walking distance of the touristy restaurant/shopping *****.

The location is terrific, the staff super friendly, and the spa area was also nice. It is true that the hotel is showing its age. We had a top renovated bathroom, the shower curtain was clean, but just a curtain. The couch was actually very scuffed and broken, so at least a throw would have been due. We found the beds comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, the breakfast room was sometimes overcrowded. The staff made an effort, but sometimes overwhelmed. specialist staff?? I didn't find the noise from delivery traffic right next to our room that pleasant. We had a "corner room" on the second floor right next to/above a path. I would like to stay here again but avoid this room location.
