The room was clean and conveniently located near Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial. The front desk staff were easy to communicate with. I bought my tickets a few days before my trip, and the price was decent for Manhattan. The elevator was a normal speed to the 12th floor. My room had a view of Trinity Church.

Location:
The location is excellent — right in the heart of the Financial District. Super convenient if you're looking to explore lower Manhattan or have business nearby.

Facilities:
Facilities are quite basic. Don’t expect much beyond the essentials — the room only came with shower gel and shampoo. No frills, no extras.

Service:
Service leaves much to be desired. On two occasions, my room wasn’t made until around 6pm — despite me being out from 8am. It was frustrating to come back after a full day and have to wait in the lobby while housekeeping did their rounds. There’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to consistency and timing in room servicing.

Front Desk:
Hit or miss. Service ranged from great to below average depending on who was working. The standout was the gentleman who checked us in during the night — polite, efficient, and welcoming. Others... not quite the same experience.

Overall:
Great location, but very limited amenities and inconsistent service. Would only recommend if you're prioritizing location over comfort and service.

Staff at counter is friendly and helpful. The hotel has complimentary coach to LaGuardia airport. The room is spacious and the facilities and utilities are very good. The hotel is located in Flushing, close to subway and Chinese restaurants. There are many Chinese restaurants and supermarkets, convenient for Chinese tourists to stay. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel and will definitely consider to choose this hotel again.

The room is clean and sanitary, the service is very good, and the surrounding area has convenient transportation, which is very suitable for tourism and vacation.

The hotel is just a 2-3 minute walk after getting off the subway. Overall, the interior and atmosphere of the hotel itself is pretty, but it was a bit disappointing that it took a while for the hot water to come out and there were no basic amenities such as disposable slippers and water.
Still, the hotel overall was pretty and clean, so it was much better than the old place in Manhattan.

The room facilities and design were great. However, what was truly baffling was that despite being a Ctrip order, and knowing full well that Ctrip customers pay through Ctrip, the hotel front desk still made me pay again. I ended up paying twice for a two-night stay. I initially thought it was a deposit, but there was no refund even after checking out. I contacted Ctrip, and they confirmed it was a hotel error. This is a huge rip-off – are they trying to take advantage of Chinese tourists? Doesn't the hotel know the payment status of Ctrip orders? What if I hadn't checked my bill? Would they have just overcharged me? Everyone needs to be careful! Chinese tourists are often easily scammed when traveling.

The hotel is in a very good location, at the entrance of Paddington station. I have personally tested that you can get on the train within 8 minutes. The surrounding environment is also relatively quiet. But the hotel space is relatively small and it is difficult to open a 28-inch suitcase.

The hotel's location is perfect,, providing easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and the underground. We were pleased to receive a room with a fantastic view overlooking the square where the street performances were. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness standards. The wooden floor was quite sticky, and we could hear the sound of our sandals when walking. There was visible dirt on the drawer too which made us hesitant to unpack our belongings. Overall, while the location and view were excellent, the cleanliness could use significant improvement.

I booked a standard room, but was assigned a basement level. I later noticed a lot of reviews said basement levels. I don't know if this is discrimination or what. It's uncomfortable down there. Although there's a window, fresh air is trapped in the atrium, which is disgusting. There's also a bunch of trash in the atrium, which is disgusting. The basement hallway also has a smell that seems stuck and stuffy. I didn't go upstairs, so I don't know if there's any smell there. Every morning, I'm greeted by the stench, which ruins my fun. Oh, I did see a foreign guest staying in the basement level, but the price isn't cheap either. For 2,000+ a night, I'm not happy with the basement level!

Breakfast is cooked to order and is okay, but the sausages are terrible. There's no fresh vegetables in the buffet!

The wait staff are friendly and willing to chat. Overall, the service is quite good.

The location is good, close to the subway station, and convenient for Wimbledon.

The toiletries are comfortable and smell good, Indigo's global standard.

First of all, the hotel reception is really nice. Everyone is very warm and friendly. I feel full of love. The room is very large and clean, with a palace-style bed, I love it. Mineral water is available every day, and snacks are also free to eat, which is charged in other hotels... The location is even better, 3/5 minutes walk to Tower Bridge, double subway, and 8/9 minutes walk to Liverpool Street Station... Liverpool Street Station is convenient to major airports... In short, it is a very good experience, and a must-choose hotel next time you come to London

I was supposed to head back, but the weather was so nice that I decided to take my child to the Bund. After comparing several similarly priced hotels nearby, I ultimately chose the Indigo, and I made the right choice – it was amazing! Both the daytime and nighttime views are absolutely beautiful. The hotel's breakfast directly overlooks the 'Three Treasures of the Bund' (prominent buildings), and it's very convenient to get to Yu Garden and the City God Temple. The hotel also has a pool and a gym. The nearby mall had a great Christmas atmosphere with its decorations and even an ice rink.

The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from Hanzhong Road Metro Station, which is quite convenient. It has a swimming pool that's 1.2 meters deep, not too deep but large enough and semi-circular, good for a swim. Right next to it is the gym, which has a decent range of equipment, including a functional training rig. They offer coffee, water, and towels. Overall, the service is excellent. Breakfast is average, though, with a bit too little protein.

This time, my chiropractic experience was very satisfying. I especially liked the fact that I could see the smoke directly from my room and that the room was well-arranged after the delay. The hotel's location was also very convenient.
Additionally, I was able to upgrade to a lake view suite, and I could communicate directly via WeChat, which also felt very convenient and appreciated.
The roast lamb for breakfast was delicious.

Overall, it was a great stay ♡
We could see the fireworks right in front of the center, we were given a late check-out, and the hotel's convenient location was great. I booked a lake view room and was upgraded to a suite, and it was also great that I could communicate directly via WeChat.
They had freshly grilled lamb chops for breakfast, which were delicious!

Ichigo's reaction to a small criticism of the novel:

I understand Chinese well, but when I saw other foreign guests couldn't get through,
I was so busy translating things a few times that I was a little disappointed.

I'd like to point out a few areas for improvement.
- The suite has two bathrooms, but I didn't use the one closest to the entrance because it smelled like a drain.
- The breakfast could use some improvement. First of all, there were too few seats, and when I arrived (around 10am), I had no choice but to sit in the bar area. I've stayed at INDIGO hotels several times in China, but compared to Hangzhou, for example, the selection is really limited... It's disappointing that even though it's an INDIGO, they can't even make an omelet in the morning...

- Since IHG is an international brand, I hope they'll increase the number of English-speaking staff in the future. Although I'm a foreigner, I can speak a fair amount of Chinese, which is fine for me, but I did witness some instances where the staff had trouble communicating with some foreign guests (even when it was about incredibly basic things like not being able to make an omelet or asking how many lamb chops they wanted...). I ended up interpreting a little at breakfast, lol.

The chiropractor said that the first stay was a good one, and I hope it will be even better next time.

In the end, I had a relaxing stay, and I hope they can improve even more next time.
