Location was good, room size is perfect for our small family. Love the services that the hotel provides, super fast and efficient, and fuss free. Hotel even provide lounge area, where hotel guests can go there for a small drink and some appetiser for free. I think every hotel should have such service provided, it is just super nice and welcoming back to the hotel. When we were there, it was raining and hotel staff was even offering us in house umbrella for us to use, and we returned it once we are back at the hotel. Room was a tab bit dark at some corners, but otherwise all is good. Nothing to complain about. Will definitely visit again when we are back in Brussels.

The location is very good, right next to the grand place. However, the rooms are old and need to be updated. The sink in the bathroom and the woodwork had cracks. The corridors were dark and dingy. The lamps or coffee machine have to be disconnected to be able to charge one’s devices. There are no adapters or usb ports. The day we arrived, the bell boy was on holiday, so there was no one to help with the bags. The front office staff, other than the most junior of them, seemed totally disinterested. The room was hot in the night and the aircon panel did not work. When we told the front office staff that the air conditioning didn’t work adequately, they didn’t even acknowledge what we were saying, let alone offer any explanation or apology. The breakfast was fine, but the staff again showed very little interest in even asking if we wanted a cooked breakfast. Wouldn’t recommend.

Stayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.

Blown away by this hotel! From the moment we arrived we were charmed - the hotel is gorgeous, the staff are helpful friendly and attentive in all areas. We had a lovely room with a welcome gift for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t dine in the evening as the restaurant was closed at the weekend but the reception staff were helpful in recommending places to visit. It’s located near the European Parliament and close to the bus route so we found it a great location. A 20 min walk to the Grand Place but an enjoyable and beautiful walk.

I was whisked away to old world opulence as I walked into Le Plaza. The ornate chandelier, intricate carpet, and polished seating created a luxurious atmosphere. I was greeted by a friendly night front desk staff member named Ashley. He checked me in quickly and let me know that I could order something to eat if I was hungry. The elevator ride up to my room was a delight. The hallway was decorated in a vintage style, and my room, 534, felt like a miniature villa. The bathroom was gorgeous, and it had all the amenities I needed. It was a bit of a mix of vintage and modern, with a flat screen TV. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of natural light, and I woke up feeling luxurious every morning. The food at Le Plaza was delicious. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The service was also excellent. I never had to wait long for anything, and the staff was always friendly and attentive. I injured myself during my stay, and Ashley and the other night staff member, Luis, were very helpful. They gave me first aid supplies and helped me get ice for my injury. I was very grateful for their help. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Le Plaza. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The location of the hotel is great. It's in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions The hotel offers a variety of room types, so you can find the perfect one for your needs. We arrived on EuroStar in Brussels Midi and did not have a good impression of Brussels at first (note to self, next time take the metro or over ground train (operator IC) to Brussels Central which is literally five minutes walk down the slight hill to the Novotel hotel. We finally found the hotel literally 200 yards from the main square (Grote Markt). What a lovely welcome when we got to reception. The receptionists were just lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Embarrassingly their English was just so good. The restaurant employees were very welcoming too and they paid the appropriate attention when required, they too were great. The breakfast chef also came out periodically and topped food up which was good to see. Housekeeping was great and one morning the room service assistant had actually realised we had gone to breakfast and made our room up while we away at breakfast. Location - this hotel couldn't be better placed. Grand Square literally 200 yards away, Grand Central station five minutes walk (if that) up a slight hill. Summary - I would stay at the Novotel (off Grand Place) on a future visit without hesitation. A really well appointed and well placed hotel with really lovely friendly staff. Coming from the trade we appreciate the total effort the staff put in and thank them very much for making our stay so welcoming.

Probably the worse experience check-in so far! We arrived early and asked politely to the staff what time is the check-in, this particular staff name Tobe M. was very rude and responded at 3pm. So we went around town and came back at 2:50pm to check-in, this staff was very unfriendly saying it was not 3:00pm yet, eventually he let us in. But overall the check-in experience was such a nightmare. Breakfast was good though.

Really great stay at this very pleasant and nicely located hotel. We used this as our base having travelled across on Eurostar. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the station. Like all European main stations it’s a bit seedy around the adjacent area but we felt safe. The MIDI station also has an amazing array of shops to hand if you just want a quick snack or get breakfast while on the move. Hotel was clean and the air con was amazing given this was two of those baking 38degree days! Only minor criticisms were the towels were very small for a modern hotel, the maid service is often late (although we were on top floor so perhaps last!) and breakfast very expensive (but see earlier comment) - none of which affected my scoring.

I’m surprised by some of the bad reviews. I will make this my new go-to hotel in Brussels. Staff was friendly. Our room was lovely- high ceilings and period details. The location is excellent- a real local neighborhood but walking distance from the touristy center and train station. Breakfast looked good although we didn’t use it. The one thing is that there is a lot of variety among the rooms. Some have retained authentic 19th century decor and ceilings- others are bland modern renovations. If you like peace and quiet, the ones in the courtyard dependance might suit you. Oh and it definitely has an elevator.

Great location near transport and not too far from the centre. Rooms are decent but could do with a lick of paint. Some rooms are adjacent to the courtyard and it can very noisy as there is no staff present at certain hours of the night. Breakfast is OK, not enough variety and coffee machine wasn't working while we were there. Some of the female receptionists were not very friendly and were very blasé.

In view of the brand booked this hotel, when I checked in, I was asked to swipe the card to pay the city tax (the room payment had been paid by Ctrip) and then said that I had paid. When I entered the room, I found that the safe could not be opened. I called the front desk and was hung up. I went downstairs and found that the guy at the front desk didn’t speak English at all. I called another person to follow me upstairs and checked it. He said that he didn’t have the secret code to unlock the lock and he had to wait for the next day to get it (the checkout on the third day is also Did not deal with it). The carpet is dirty and the bathroom is small. The location is okay. The windows of the room are near the main road, and the calls of trams, ambulances, and police cars are loud.

First of all location is great! Just next to basically everything! Hotel itself looked really fresh and nice. It was clean! We had triple room with one single bed and one double bed and it was really spacious! Basically it was almost like two rooms. Bathroom was bit tight but manageable! Breakfast offers wide variety of foods and plus points from the waffles! Few negatives: Air con was really loud in our room but it worked (+30 outside so really necessary), the cleaning did not change the right amount of towels. Also door banging sounds can be heard from the corridor quite easily but these are quite minor issues. All in all I will definitely choose this hotel for my future visits in Brussels! Merci!

Incredibly well placed hotel. Right in the center of Brussels, everything is accessible on foot. Spacious room, nice and clean bathroom despite the toilet wedged between a wall and a sink. (Do not abuse fries and waffles otherwise you will spend more) The hotel has a huge advantage. However the big problem with this hotel is the service. The service is deplorable, frosty welcome, no smile, hello tear off, no please, no thanks ... the polite expressions are all forgotten. Upon arrival, I was asked for a bank card and identity card, ok I give. White is palpable in the room. Then I ask him why he enters my card numbers because I had everything on the internet, he spontaneously replied ”Beh for the deposit”. No worries, this is understandable, however, he could just tell us, and also give us the amount that was going to be blocked, which I only saw because I looked on the TPE ... very little shopping again . We encountered two fairly basic problems. We ran out of toilet paper, so I ask the receptionist if he can give it to us, the answer was ”Abon? Oh well I am amazed. Wait, I'll see if I can find that for you. ” Very surprised by this reflection, we had the impression of having stolen toilet paper, we left empty-handed, toilet paper in hand. In addition we asked 3 times to 3 different employees to change a bulb that no longer worked in our room, something that was never done despite staying 3 nights. Very disappointed by this considerable lack of service / politeness for a four star ... Too bad because this hotel has great potential. Ps: I'm still waiting for my billing email.
