Viva Tangerine by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive

The staff at the resort the was good. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and made our stay enjoyable. The pool and beach area were perfect for relaxing and felt safe. The availability of food and drinks was convenient and refreshing. However, I did encounter a few issues with my room. The ceiling light was not working, and there was no hot water in either of the rooms. Additionally, we had to reset the door cards for both rooms as they were not functioning properly. They had to change the battery in one of the door system at midnight becuase the card wasn't working. Furthermore, the air conditioning in my room didn't work until 1am on my last night. The room became unbearably hot, and I was sweating excessively. I reported this issue multiple times since my arrival, but they were not resolved until midnight on my last night. It was frustrating to deal with the lack of cold air, especially considering I had made numerous reports. Finally, after sending someone to fix it, I was able to enjoy some much-needed cool air. Despite these issues, I found the overall ambiance of the place to be nice and relaxing.

The food At breakfast was very good, lunch & dinner is mediocre…salad was good , some veggy dishes were good but the meat dishes is horrible.The beef chewy,the fish not fresh, the chicken pieces were small and cannot be easily recognized as chicken.The lunch food was also repeated for dinner , all at the same day(3/5/24)

The property, staff, and beach were amazing and exceeded expectations. The food at the buffet was also great with a wide selection for each meal. The only complaint in these reviews that is legit is there is often not hot water. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The place globally looks great and lovely, dinning and its area is somewhat fair. But room has NO working phone for all days stayed. Shower time to time stop watering while taking shower. It takes two before someone even came to open a safe. Internet service or wi-fi is 4 on 10. Personally my staying was not satisfactory.

We had no hot water, tv was very limited could not access children channel. Had a blood stain pillow case. I reported every single thing plus was charged $120 extra adult fee

Viva Tangerine proved to be an ideal destination for my family of four, including two young children. Situated conveniently adjacent to the pristine beach, the resort offered two swimming pools where my kids happily spent a significant portion of their time. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food served was of good quality. We were fortunate to experience delightful weather throughout our stay, enhancing our overall enjoyment. We had an oceanfront hotel room, which was truly spectacular. From our beds and balcony, we had stunning views of both the pool and the beach. Our experience at Viva Tangerine exceeded our expectations, leaving us thoroughly satisfied, and we eagerly anticipate returning in the future.

The elevator was broken during the entire stay; No access to Wi-Fi. The room balcony only can hold one person. The bathroom had multiple leaks: the sink and behind the toilet. Not to mention lukewarm water in the shower. If your woman is staying alone, be careful. Staff members follow you around continuously, asking what room you're in and trying to sell excursions on the side. Made it known there are cameras only in certain areas. Do not purchase hotel round-trip transportation. It was triple the price, and they never picked us up upon arrival.

Very small property with limited options for food. This is the first resort that calls Johnnie Walker red label, “top shelf”. The concierge service just wants to sell you a timeshare right when you arrive. I traveled with my family of 5 and had better luck paying to eat at surrounding restaurants by the beach. And yes, the other reviews are true, no hot water, constant septic smell when you shower. Last but not least, if you’re European or from the States, the staff is so nice, but the second they know you’re latino/Hispanic, they could care less about you. Most of the attention goes towards them, and the worst part is, the don’t even tip well. But hey, save yourself the trip and find better accommodations elsewhere if any of this makes sense.

The pool side and the beach was the highlight of my trip..the food was terrible they didn't make much if an effort with the food, the drinks was water down with cheap liquor that you couldn't taste. We were given a single room,when we paid for a double queen room. Didn't get our room until 3pm the next day, so basically we paid for 3 days and only got 2 days out of ouout of our package
