The exterior is a little dated and the parking is a little confusing to get into but everything else was great! The room was updated, large and very clean. Beautiful view from the room and a very nice little trail to walk just off the parking lot. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

What a gem of a place! The location is perfect & close to eating options, shopping options & if you want an adult beverage, lots of options for that too. If you're using GPS to get here, be sure not to turn onto 8th because that's the front of the building, stay on the road you are on & the parking lot is just up a little on your left. Staff was super friendly & they had this amazing fan in the room that I'll be looking for when i get home lol. My room was huge, nice balcony & for the price, I would definitely stay here again & recommend it too.

From the beginning, she gave the unfixed toilet and stinky room. Even the 3rd floor room without an elevator was given to us.

Fantastic stay at the DRAKE! We chose the Drake due to VERY convenient location. Little bit of an older hotel but had exactly everything we needed it for a 1 night stay. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING STAFF! Tried to see if we could check in early and Brenda was amazing and got us in 2 hours early! They even gave me a birthday gift at check out which was completely unexpected and so kind!! Discount at the pub as well was a bonus! Absolutely would recommend and stay here again if needing an affordable, cute and convenient Canmore stay! Thanks guys!

We got to the hotel checked in but did not feel comfortable with the whole place, it is in pretty rough shape. The room had a hockey stick in between the window by the balcony so there would bot be any excess from outdoors . it looked like you could not lock the balcony door from the inside. we tried to cancel the room , but they were not willing. So they charged us the whole amount.

Amenities were pretty good, love the Rocky Mtn Soaps and shampoos. The pillows are AWFUL but the mattress was great. Quiet despite the bar being right below us. Hot water seems to be influence by every flushed toilet on the floor; hot cold hot cold hot cold. Keeps you on your toes. Nostalgic feeling with the same linoleum my parents had in the 1980’s.

I like to look at the best in places but after shelling out 600 dollars for this room for two nights I was really upset when the couple who was also in the wedding party, paid the same price for a room booked after we did the with WAYYYYY better conditions. The carpet in the room was so dirty so I had to put blankets on the floor to walk on as I brought my two 6 month olds. Nothing is updated. I was also upset when asking for an extension cord because there is only 2 outlets, that front desk said no. Yet when I asked the cleaner she said yes right away. The fridge was turned down to 0. No air conditioning. An unbelievably poor room to stay in for the price we paid. I cannot believe the difference in rooms from the 3rd floor to the bottom.
