We stayed here with a school Rugby trip for 2 nights. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Apartments were clean and had great facilities for our needs. The restaurant catered well for us with a buffet style breakfast and dinner. Overall Inwoukd recommend this accommodation for families or groups.

Had such a wonderful week at Gasparina village with our 3 children aged 9,7,6. The pool was great for them and our apartment being close meant we could let them play whilst sorting breakfast etc. the pool didn’t open until 10am however this was good for us as it meant the kids slept in and we had a relaxing breakfast! We didn’t really cook in the apartment, choosing to eat out on the lake, however I’m sure we could have managed it. Expect the shops to be expensive unless you want to travel to the nearest supermarket (we did want to but couldn’t justify cost of taxi!) taxis were difficult to get hold of, Uber isn’t a thing there! But we managed and it cost around €15 from Peschiera. The walk there is about 40 minutes which we did with the kids quite a lot so definitely manageable, would recommend this as it’s a beautiful town. The walk to the lake from Gasparina village is no more than 10 minutes and the view when turning the corner is beautiful, we had many meals at ristorante e camere Porticciolo which is one of the first ones you come across on the walk along the front, meals are fantastic and the kids loved playing on the little beach. Gardaland and the water park were great and well worth a visit, train to Venice is easily done and takes about an hour and 45 minutes. Not a holiday if you want entertainment at night, however for us this didn’t matter as we went out. We personally loved air con being in front room as it meant we didn’t get too cold and it was great air con! We all had the best holiday and would recommend to anyone Gasparina village and lake garda, it was absolutely beautiful.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Gasparina Village. The rooms and facilities where clean and the staff where friendly and helpful. The only real problem was the 4 star rating. This gives the impression that the resort will be providing a high standard of service to make you as comfortable as possible. With no toaster or cooker in our room. Broken cutlery and a tiered chopping board preparing meals was awkward but not impossible. The holder for the shower head was damaged, night lights didn't work. The aircon was located in the kitchen meaning to keep the bedrooms cool the doors had to be kept open. Also...In our apartment there was an extraction fan which I was unable to turn off. This came on at random times, both day and night. Meaning that I slept badly most nights. The on site shop is rubbish....not sure why it's so badly stocked. There is a supermarket 10mins cycle away and the camp site down the road has an excellent little shop you can use. Terrible Wi-Fi (not so bad, just awkward when your trying to use google maps). The pool and grounds where very, very good. Perfect for young families. Throughout our stay the atmosphere of the village was great, everyone was lovely and we enjoyed the evenings we stopped up. The only thing I would add is that Gasparina Village is located quite a distance from other restaurants. With young children this may be an issue. I would definitely recommend renting bikes for the duration of your stay. They are located just out side reception and are very reasonably priced. Just ask a member of staff. Overall a lovely resort just don't expect 4 star facilities.

We travelled with Jet2 which were really friendly and efficient. Gasparina is only about 25 minutes from Verona airport. We had the basic upstairs apartment with balcony which was good but basic. Good little kitchen area and small sofa that just about fit the 4 of us on. Tv only had one English Channel. We took our firestick and used a battery power bank to power it as limited plugs near tv. Worked well so kids could watch Netflix which was good as it rained for 2 days. Air con not the best and took a while to cool the living room. Not really powerful enough to cool the bedrooms well. No hair dryer in the apartment. The rooms were lovely and clean and the lovely maids cleaned once while we were there and changed the towels. Tried to eat once at the restaurant but we were bothered by a lot of wasps around the tables. Another evening we had a take away pizza from the restaurant and ate in our room. The pizza was good. The pool was perfect for our 4 and 7 year old. They loved the slides and the deep end was just right as our 4 year old could just about stand up in it. The only issue with the pool was the amount of bees and wasps around the pool. A lot of them sitting at the pool edge and we saw a couple of children stung by standing on wasps. The pool opened at ten and we never struggled to get a sunbed. The pool gates were locked before 10. There is a small supermarket shop on site but very limited selection of food if self catering. Very good fresh baguettes and croissants there in the mornings though! The Famila supermarket is very big and a 20 minute walk/5 min drive a away. The Gasparina staff were all very friendly. We found the hotel a little far from any other restaurants if walking. There were a couple 25 minutes walk along the harbour. It was a 40 minute walk into peschiera along the harbour. A beautiful walk but the kids didn’t enjoy it in the heat. We were self catering so wanted to eat out. We hired a car in the end from hertz in peschiera which was well worth it. Much cheaper to book online with rental cars.com than at hertz itself. We visited Sirmione and it’s beautiful castle. The kids loved swimming at Lazise beach. Much nicer than the beach by the hotel. The lake levels had dropped quite a bit due to the drought so that didn’t help. It looked a bit sludgy round the edges in places. We drove along the narrow roads up Monte Baldo and caught the ski chair lift at Pra Alpesina to the top. Amazing views! We drove to Riva at the top of the lake. It’s stunning and has a great atmosphere at night with live street music. The kids also loved reptiland at Riva. Only small but a lot of snakes. We visited Garda town which was beautiful. We took a gondola ride around Peschiera which was fun and the gondolier was really friendly and knowledgable. We really enjoyed our holiday.

Just spent a lovely week at Gasparina Village. We were lucky to arrive two days after what sounds like an awful hail storm. Signs of damage everywhere - cars with broken windscreens, etc. The apartment we were meant to stay in had fallen victim to quite a bit of storm damage and unfortunately had water stains all over the ceiling. It must have been so waterlogged as there were also puddles forming on the floor, despite dry weather. Reception staff were amazing and enabled us to move apartments the next day. The village itself is a very family friendly setting. The pool is great for kids and it's easy to keep an eye on them from anywhere that you choose to sit by the pool. Our kids enjoyed finding the various play areas around the site too. The restaurant is open all day from 7.30am and we were satisfied with the food. All of the staff could speak English, but were more than happy for my wife to converse with them in her rusty Italian (from her university degree from almost 20 years ago). Would definitely recommend!

My family of four (two children aged 12 and 9) have just returned form a week holiday at Gasparina village at lake Garda. Our fist impression of the village was quite positive. There is a large pool and the kids had a fantastic time using the slides and spending time swimming. The apartment was decent, roomy enough for four people. The patio was ok, with two lounge beds and a dining table. However, for a four star rating and the price I was expecting more. The apartment doesn’t have a dishwasher, coffeemaker nor a toaster. The kitchen ventilation was broken. As far as the half board is concerned, the breakfast was ok, nothing spacial. The dinner, however, was bad. Every evening there was a selection of four to five dishes and I am sorry to say, it was bad and repetitive. The area around the village is not the nicest, the beach is dirty and sometimes also smelly. There are nicer places around lake Garda than this. We have seen them during our previous stays in this area. The proximity of the small towns is a plus. They are beautiful. Gardaland is 20 min away on foot. However, what I consider the biggest flaw was the behavior of the stuff on the day when a terrible hailstorm destroyed all our cars in the parking lot. Not a single person came to us and asked us if we needed any help. On the contrary, after breakfast they closed the kitchen and a small shop so there was nowhere the people at the village could eat. So without the cars we we left on our own. When we went to the reception to ask where we could order some food the girl who could barely speak English suggested Mcdonalds, which was 4 km away. Really disappointing. I would really suggest hiring people who can speak English since communication with the staff was terrible. All in all I must say we were not satisfied with this stay. We have visited Garda lake many times before and this was by far the worst stay. This is by no means a four star resort.

We booked with Jet2 as three families. We had three first floor appointments along side each other. They were well equipped generally no toaster but we had a microwave. It was useful to have a safe. Nice patio. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Taxis can be hard to find but they will phone for one for you. The location is ideal, a short walk to the lake and about twenty minutes to Gardaland which you must visit. Not quite Alton Towers but very good. The pool is great for young families and has one lifeguard. Quite shallow and safe but you can swim ok or just bob about to keep cool. There is a kids club and disco which were ok. All in all I would recommend this.
