One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

Gorgeous location and accommodations, we only stayed one night. Wish we could have stayed longer since this was one of the prettiest places we've been. Overlooking the vineyards with Mt. Etna in the distance was very special. The included breakfast was excellent with homemade cakes. Having wine in the winter garden was such a treat after a long day. It was too cool in April, for us to use the pool, but the setting was gorgeous.

We booked only one night into this property between our Mt. Etna and Taormina stops. We wanted to stay in the Northern Etna wine area and do some tastings. We were immediately impressed with the hotel and with Vincenzo who greeted us. The weather was cool and cloudy and so we were not able to make the most of the magnificent pool and grounds. However the room, the bathroom, the breakfast and our wine tasting more than made up for it. Vincenzo could not have been more helpful even offering suggestions for dinner in Taormina with him making the reservations. If you are coming in warmer weather, this is a great place to stay a few days so that in addition to day trips you can relax and enjoy the hotel. Do the wine tasting! We did the 4 glass with tasty treats but also heard people raving about the tasting and lunch.

Big Grazie to Serena and Team Cottanera who made our 3 night winter stay wonderful, for our family of four. They were exceptionally accommodating, gave great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit, and they put out a delicious breakfast spread. Rooms were newly renovated and very comfortable. The wine tasting session and vineyard tour by Patricia was very informative and relaxing. Once again big thank you to the team and we hope to be back again!

The structure is brand new. The rooms are well-kept and welcoming, the very large double shower is wonderful. The care and refinement of every single detail is surprising. The breakfast with handmade cakes of all kinds with local products is fantastic. Another strong point is the trained and welcoming staff. A place surrounded by vineyards where you can only hear the sound of the wind and the chirping of birds. A little corner of paradise. I absolutely recommend it ❤️

New structure, surrounded by vineyards, very well looked after and refined. The wellness area is beautiful where there are the ancient barrels and the beautiful millstone. Infinity pool overlooking the vineyard and well-kept greenery throughout the entire structure. The large room, with a beautiful wooden roof, excellent personal care products, the only flaw, the light in the room was too low... impossible to wear make-up. Breakfast, EXCELLENT, lots of homemade cakes, express dishes on request, local products and impeccable service. Also highly recommended for its truly strategic position, you can easily choose between ETNA and NEBRODI.... what more could you want!

The hotel is idyllically located in the middle of the vineyards. The welcome was very warm. We were greeted with freshly baked cakes and cappuccino. Our room no. 6 was very harmoniously furnished, including an espresso machine, and it was always very clean. The reception staff were always helpful with tips for hikes and reservations for our evening meal. The breakfast is excellent and especially the wide selection of homemade cakes. We really enjoyed the recommended massage and it is a must for every stay. Next time we will try out the pool and the gym. We will definitely come back. Thanks to the entire Dimora Cottanera team.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel in February and was extremely satisfied with the experience I had. The room I stayed in was just perfect. A warm and welcoming environment, furnished with quality materials. The marble of the floors, the wood of the ceilings and the elegance of the marble coverings in the bathrooms.
