We spent two lovely weeks, with friends ,in Bagnaia in the Villa Mare. Its like a home by the sea, apar**ent looking over the bay and 2 mins walk from the beach. The road into the village is a cul de sac so there is no through traffic . The beach is stony like most in this part of Elba but the water is clear and bright with views straight across the bay to Portoferriao and Napoleons house. The hotel is owned by Luciano and Georgio and they are there every morning to look after their guests, along with lovely staff that become friends by the end of your stay. Breakfast is the best coffee and croissant in Elba. Its a great base to tour a wonderful island , with Porto Azzurro our highlight for restaurants and shops. There are busses but you really need a car or motorbike/scooter as the island is really one big mountain! The apar**ents in Villa Mare are bright, modern, totally spotless and well equipped - ours had a superb balcony overlooking the sea that easily hosted 6 people for apperetivi as the sun set over the bay. We would go back in a heartbeat and know there would be a great welcome from the lovely Luciano and his staff.

Quest'anno sono al Villa Mare a giugno e ancora eccomi qui, per la seconda volta! Non c'è sull'isola, posto migliore per una bellissima vacanza: panorama mozzafiato, acqua cristallina e tutto intorno lo splendore di collinette e colline rigogliose di macchia mediterranea! Luciano, leader indiscusso e indiscutibile del Villa Mare, ha molte doti e meriti. ma quelle che mi colpiscono di più. sono la capacità di circondarsi di uno staff di tutto rispetto per capacità e cortesia, e parlo dello staff tutto: receptionist, bar, personale delle pulizie, ecc.. L'altro grande merito, non molto comune tra i colleghi...., è quello di non aver perso l'amore e l'entusiasmo per il suo lavoro! Sempre pronto ad un sorriso, sempre pronto a far sentire al meglio i clienti! Infine, per tutti i golosi come me, non si possono dimenticare le fragranze delle brioche a colazione e non solo.... e le indimenticabili schiaccine!!! Niente dieta in vacanza...! Grazie a tutti ragazzi, per farmi e fare stare tutti coloro che vengono da voi veramente bene!!

Un isola che ti lascia il segno, ci sono tanti posti incantevoli,puoi scegliere delle calette isolate con un mare meraviglioso e puoi scegliere anche le spiagge di sabbia,di pietre,di rocce e quant'altro. Consigliatissimo

Il residence è decisamente vecchio e malcurato. L’arredamento interno è un po’ consumato e mal pulito. Di notte non si dorme dal caldo e dai continui rumori esterni. Ciliegina sulla torta è la pulizia dell’appartamento non eccelsa, con peli nelle lenzuola, ovunque e addirittura nel frigo e nella doccia, per non parlare dei vetri.

Struttura triste contornata da rumori e caldo, il residence lascia molto desiderare, soprattutto nella pulizia, personale poco attento alla pulizia e scortese.Non aggiungo altro. L'unica nota positiva è che il residence si trova sul mare.

Estive hospedado no Hotel Villa Maré e gostei muito. Os funcionários são todos educados, Os proprietário sempre solícitos e educados também. Localização boa, quartos confortáveis e o Bar tem um Happ Hour muito animado. Recomendo muito!

Sono stato in questo residence l' ultima settimana di Luglio con moglie e due figlie al seguito. Posizione ottimale (praticamente di fronte al mare), in un contesto molto carino. Personale sempre gentile e cortese. Appartamento molto carino, confortevole (probabilmente ristrutturato da poco) e confortevole. Ci tornerò senz' altro

Questo residence Villa a mare si trova a Bagnaia una frazione nel nulla a metà strada tra Portoferraio e Porto Azzurro , non c’è nemmeno il giornalaio . Spiaggia di ghiaia con 3 bagni attrezzati gestito dai soliti bagnìni toscani indisponenti . Il residence villa a mare si trova a 50 metri dalla spiaggia e ha un parcheggio interno e qui finiscono le note positive . Arredamento anni 70 , bagno con manopole acqua fredda e calda senza miscelatore, prese elettriche a penzoloni , frigo mezzo sfondato . Niente aria condizionata , ventilatori anni 70 in casa per sopravvivere visto che l’Elba in Luglio e Agosto é notoriamente caldissima come la Sardegna . Patio sulla strada con un via vai di auto e scooter . Costo di una settimana assolutamente non commisurato alla qualità del residence e della frazione . Il mattino alle 8.30 la micro piazza ancora piena del pattume della sera prima . Per quanto mi riguarda da dimenticare sia la micro frazione che il residence di cui sopra . Questa località e questo deprimente residence li consiglio a stranieri nordeuropei avvezzi al camping o a turisti cheap abituati a queste strutture . Addio ..

Non metto 5 punti solo per alcuni piccoli dettagli che se migliorati sarebbero 5 punti. La camera è bella, moderna, pulita e spaziosa. Dotata di ogni singolo comfort, non manca assolutamente nulla, in cucina, in bagno e nella camera. Ha un terrazzino carino e spazioso, un parcheggio riservato che è vitale in quelle zone. Tutto funzionante, il mare di fronte per chi non vuole muoversi. Il ragazzo alla reception simpatico e cortese. Manca solo nelle finestre, dovrebbero essere dotate di zanzariere, siamo stati chiusi dentro tutta la settimana, ed è un peccato perchè si stava freschi e potevamo evitare l'aria condizionata. Inoltre è molto rumoroso, la sera c'è il delirio in strada e senti tutto in camera, dalle urla dei ragazzi, alle marmitte dei motorini spompati, ai buffoni che scorrazzano con le motociclette avanti e indietro... ed era luglio non oso immaginare ad agosto. Ma ci torneremo presto, perchè la casa era collocata vicino a tutte le località carine dell'isola d'Elba.
