The Heyford Hotel

Stayed at the Heyford for 2 nights . The hotel is new spacious and immaculate. The staff are so helpful and friendly especially Tilly Deborah and Cat who went above and beyond. They are a credit to the hotel. On the down side I don’t think the evening menu should be classed at a la carte. The hotel is on a new housing estate which felt a bit out of place.

The Heyford Oxfordshire was a fantastic venue for a two-day training course we hosted. The reception and catering staff are so friendly and helpful and the events team went above and beyond to ensure our workshop went smoothly. It's such an exceptional venue, from the plush furnishings to the quality of the food. In addition, The Heyford have a genuine desire to have a positive impact within the community, which is clear from the regular community focused events held for Mother's Day, Easter etc and from their fundraising activities - they generate cash for local charities which is amazing and such a refreshing approach from a large building organisation. The Dorchester is a housing developer with a heart.

The Heyford is half way for our family to meet up for lunch. What a find! This is the second time of meeting, we have lunch and then bowling to get rid of the children’s energy before returning home. The food, service and venue are all excellent and spotless. We aim to meet here once a year as the staff are wonderful

Family Pizza Making!! 2 fun filled hours! 3 very occupied children. Perfect during the Easter holidays. Very reasonably priced activity! Tasty pizzas and ice-cream. The hosts Kat and Tyler were absolutely great!! Really engaging will definitely come again. Paterson Family :)

Utter shambles . Room initially seemed pleasing . Nice bed clean tidy well appointed. . We rested after a long drive till dinner time . Again dining area albeit like a estate pub restaurant was clean and tidy . Server unbeknown to us took our order wrong . Starters came were wrong returned correct ones brought ok mistakes happen then mains came mine was fine tasty and well presented. My partners also came she ate 2 forks of her vegetarian lasagne to discover it was a meat lasagne. A replacement was offered but my partner feeling nauseous refused it . We were offered a complimentary drink in the bar and no charge for dinner . This is where it goes from bad to shambolic. We were on a dinner inclusive package as a fact finding look for a hotel we could use as a frequent base as we needed one for a contract we had in Bicester for 12 months . We then retired to bed where a howling all night kept us awake (video available and left with reception on departure). We asked to be contacted and chased it on 3 occasions to no avail . Poor service badly trained staff non caring management indicators of a poorly run establishment. We have since found a delightful establishment 15 mins away and have given them the 43 bookings we would have given the Heyford " Hotel". More a badly run estate pub with howling corridors and a non caring management team.

This was an unexpected stay! We returned from holiday to Heathrow & had a problem with the rapid electric charging capability of our car. With a long journey ahead of us, we booked last minute to stay here & charge our car in order for us to get home. The hotel is so conveniently located a few miles off the M40. It has 3 charging points. We booked online & arrived within half an hour of our booking. The car went onto charge & we recharged our batteries too! We had a lovely meal in the spacious restaurant, Jade, our waitress, was excellent, very warm and friendly, giving a great service! As part of our booking “offer” we had a free game of bowling in the hotels own 2 lane bowling alley, this was great fun! Breakfast the next morning was superb, cooked fresh to order. Thank you to all the staff we encountered, from the receptionist who answered my phone call before I booked to confirm the chargers were working, all the restaurant staff who were all very attentive, we felt that everyone enjoys working here!

We had a spare night over Easter weekend and wanted to take kids and dog somewhere easy. Everything was amazing. From the first phone call with Michael who was amazing to Anna who helped us change some things. The best customer service . Wonderful Easter lunch, excellent service. The rooms were perfect and the bowling great fun. Thanks for a great trip away

We booked bowling and a meal to celebrate a friends 30th. There were 12 of us and everything was booked in as advance and paid for on the night. Staff were lovely and we all had a fab evening. The bowling was great and as there were 12 of us we had the bowling to ourselves which was brilliant fun. When we went to our table for food, there was a band playing so close to us. We spoke to a lovely lady and explained we couldn't hear each other so it wasn’t ideal for dining. They arranged for us to move to a private area, which was perfect. The food was great, all enjoyed and all hot and arrived together. We then had fun in the bar, listening to the band and enjoying the Disco. The Heyford was great, drinks, food, entertainment were all fab. The staff lady who helped us was brilliant and did a great job. Thank you all, would definitely recommend you to others.
