Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront

This was a really nice, unique hotel! The rooms are smaller than I thought, but still nice and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. The 18th floor restaurant is a higher class restaurant with a business casual dress code. We did not know this, and went up to see it and was met with a little rudeness by an employee. We were dressed very casually for traveling but when we asked to see a menu to see if we might want to eat there, she said, “if you can afford it.” She may have been joking, but it was not professional. Otherwise, staff was very nice. Check-in was super busy and had to wait about 15 minutes, but the staff was apologetic for the wait, friendly and helpful.

I was going to chalk up my experience as an isolated incident and let it fade away. That was until I received a phone call last evening around midnight! A rep. from Trip calling me asking about for my input concerning my stay at this hotel. I relayed to her that I had called Trip.com a couple of months ago right after a friend and I rented a room. We rented a room around 5pm or so. I had expressed that the power in our room - the TV, Lamps, Microwave, Frig., did not work. We put a complaint into the front desk around 6pm. Issue was not resolved until later on, around 10pm approx. About an hour after that is bedtime so 95% of watching TV, microwaving, etc, was wiped out. When I put the call into Trip,.com a couple of months ago, I received no follow up, until last night. Last night the caller wanted feedback about my room. I went over everything that had occurred. She also wanted input on how they could improve. I said, it's very simple, just focus on basic customer etiquette and satisfaction. At no point has any type of recognition been expressed concerning my loss of enjoyment of here said hotel stay. Customer service/satisfaction is becoming non-existent .

First of all, the hallways smelled like smoke. When we got into our room, I cannot tell you how many stains were on the bed. It started with the comforter, but when I lifted the sheet, and then the fitted to check for bed bugs, there were many more. I found several beard/*****-looking hairs, along with many brown and red stains. Not to mention the nastiest carpet I’ve seen in a LONG time (probably even ever). I am not exaggerating. We asked to switch rooms, and were given an upgrade to a higher floor. That floor also reeked of cigarettes. The situation in the new room was actually worse. Our friends were just down the hall on that floor, and had a similar situation. We ultimately decided we could not stay there. The young male employee at the front desk was so kind to us, and we really tried not to make a big deal out of it. After all, it’s not his fault. We just politely told him we couldn’t stay there because the rooms were really unsanitary. He made a note on his computer, and told us to call back the next day when the manager would be there to ask for a refund. The manager was also easy to work with, and authorized a refund for us for both nights. I’m under the impression that this hotel used to be “the spot to be” back in the day, and our friends we were traveling with had even stayed there in 2009 and remembered it being pretty nice hotel. I’m not sure what has changed over the years, but it was hands down the worst hotel I have ever seen in terms of cleanliness.

The hotel room was pretty out dated. We ate at both restaurants during our stay. The 18th had an amazing brunch buffet. Kind of oricy but tasted delicious. 2 buffets and 2 sodas were 101.00 the restaurant on 5th wasnt that great . Had lunch and breakfast and both were not the greatest. The ice machines didnt really work on any floor. Front desk wasnt much help. Waited an hour on room service and was told 15 min. Traffic is noisy and alot of trains come thru. The elevators are really slow. For what u pay i expected better. And i do alot of traveling and have had better. Dont think i will be back. The balcony i thought wouod be nice but its not . Not enough room for sitting just standing .

I had 2 rooms. Not my personal room but the 2nd room and earring back was found in the sheets. The person does not wear earrings so it makes me believe the sheets are not changed between clients. Also the cleanliness of both rooms were on the average side and black hair was found in the shower and my personal room had pink sequences in the floor upon arrival. I did speak to the front desk when we checked out and was told they would note it all and contact Orbitz about compensation.

1st time in a few decades we’ve stayed here. A little dated but overall clean and nice. Awesome view from our balcony room even better views in the rotating dining room! We’ll be back sooner than later!

Great location for visiting Mainstra and the Banks. Lots of food and entertainment options. Full service breakfast and breakfast buffet.

Would agree with other reviews in that, overall, very outdated, could use remodel, was clean, but felt old; which gave off dirty all together wouldn't say i’m dissatisfied but not worth the money.
