Our kids gave us a Chris**as gift of a weekend in Gettysburg with a stay at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast - we had such a fantastic weekend and the stay at Battlefield was flawless. Historic home that served as a general's headquarters during the battle of Gettysburg. The home is amazing, the setting so peaceful, and the staff were all fantastic. Each day the breakfasts were wonderful and historians were brought in to talk about aspects of the war - they were great! We also did the ghost stories our first night there - I highly recommend that as well!

We had the pleasure of meeting Steve Gunlock, battlefield historian from the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast at the Angle. He was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. History came alive talking with him and his trove of treasures he shared that included actual items from Gettysburg made our entire trip. He was able to answer every question that we had and added background information that helped us to understand how those three days in July 1863 must have felt to the soldiers. Our experience has made us determined to book a trip to the Battlefield B & B to make sure we can spend more time with Steve!

This was my first stay and the place was beyond amazing. I just had my wedding here and they made it magical and perfect. Connie (the event coordinator) did a great job of making the wedding seem smooth and perfect. The Anna Garden room is beautiful. The food was phenomenal. My compliments to the chef. It was scrumptious and tasty. Historian Steve Gunlock really brought the human experience. He taught me about the civil war in ways no one else has. I learned so much and even shed a few tears. Im beginning to understand the why. Lance told some wonderful ghost stories by the barn. His way of telling stories really draws you in. This place was awesome. The entire staff was so wonderful, sweet and helpful. Yvette and I will be coming back again and again.

We enjoyed Battlefield Bed and Breakfast the moment we walked in and met JD! He was such a delightful host. The inn was beautiful and breakfast was wonderful, Anne the Chef was friendly and inviting (yes, to her kitchen!). Don't miss out on the history lesson by Steve, it was fascinating! We can't wait to go back!

My family had a wonderful stay at the Battlefield B&B. Our rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The service was excellent and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The B&B is a short drive to Gettysburg battlefield and downtown area. Highly Recommend!

Battlefield B&B exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the General Merritt suite which gave us plenty of space for our two dogs. The room was equipped with many amenities, even towels for the dogs! Our breakfast on both mornings kept us going all day and was just decadent. The highlight of our trip was the morning historical presentation by Steve Gunlock. He personalized the Civil War, making our tour of Gettysburg much more meaningful and relevant.

Staying at the Inn with good friends and our 2 dogs in our private suite was fantastic. The civil war presentation by Steve Gunlock made the experience so much more meaningful and one we will never forget. Steve was amazing. Friends from Vermont.!

Mr. Steven Gunlock, one of the historians at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast, made our entire trip worth it. Battlefield Bed and Breakfast is actually an amazing value when you see what you get for the price. This place is a secret gem in accommodations. I couldn’t believe the quality of the history presentation after breakfast in the morning. Someone please present Mr. Gunlock an award. I will sing this places praises for the service, the food, the location, but most of all for Mr. Gunlock!

We had a very nice stay at Battlefield bed and breakfast. The staff was fantastic, helpful, knowledgeable on the history of the house and the family that lived in the house during the civil war. This B&B offers history presentations on the civil war and people who lived in the area during the war free of charge after you have enjoyed their great breakfast meals. We brought our labrador with us, there is plenty of room to walk your pet if they are traveling with you. Looking forward to our next visit.
