Four Points by Sheraton Deadwood

If you have a disability or ay mobility issues at all this is not the hotel for you. There is no handicap parking at the hotel, just shared parking a few blocks away. There is a valet service, but they had gone for the day when I arrived. To add insult to injury, even after asking about handicap parking options, the room they gave me was at the very end of the hotel, which is a block long. The hotel itself is fine, but people with disabilities need to find other accommodations in Deadwood.

Nice hotel! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Hard to figure out where to enter - and guessing wrong will mean schlepping through the ****** with your luggage. Park on the lower level (parking entrance on the far left) and take the elevator up. Hotel charges $15 for parking and gives you a coupon to get $15 in ****** cash or credit so it’s supposed to be a wash. Since we were not there to gamble and stayed only one night, we didn’t redeem it and ended up just paying $15 plus tax out of pocket. Too far to walk to the Deadwood downtown area, but there is a trolley. We just drove and paid to park closer in. Free breakfast and coffee was ready early. Overall a great stay.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean and modern with a great view of the gulch! I would happily stay here again!
The Lodge at Deadwood

The Lodge was a great spot for us to stay during out road trip of SD. The check in process was smooth and our room was very clean. The ****** was very clean, and we actually had decent luck playing slots. Oggie's Grill was great, although expensive for what you get. All the staff was very friendly and helped with anything we needed. The Lodge is off the main strip of deadwood but is serviced by a trolley that takes guest downtown.
DoubleTree by Hilton Deadwood at Cadillac Jack's

Modern and Clean with friendly staff. Was not expecting this in a ****** but better than Vegas and I’ve stayed at Caesar’s, Rio, and MGM when it comes to room quality! Stayed just for one night passing through and could not believe the price we got. We paid more at a different hotel earlier and you had that feeling nothing was clean, every thing was old. So this secondly surprised us! A little gem in Deadwood and we will be back to explore the town and enjoy the ******!
