Dear readers, as unsatisfactory guest, I would like to share my experience in this hotel. First of all, I must say that the central location of the hotel is positive. I also liked the impressive hall of red marble in the eastern style. My room on the 5th floor was pleasantly large and offered a good view of the city. Unfortunately, this is the hotel at the crossing of two main roads. This means that the traffic around the clock is very strong and especially at night when the Poser scene tries her PS-stark cars, I was always wake up at night. Also the equipment is simple and has come into the years. The garden fell to me immediately when hearing, because the holder was defect and it was no longer fitted. The very bright room was also a big problem because I could hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. The breakfast was a great disappointment, as low-quality goods were used, the cheapest available on the market. All in all, this was the last time I stayed in this hotel. On the second day I went to a bakery in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't make a recommendation for this hotel and advise potential guests to look after a better option. Sehr auf jugendliche Zielgruppe ausgerichtet. Stylish. Gute, zentrale Lage in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Kleine Zimmer, winziges Badezimmer, Sehr einfach eingerichtet, kein Schrank, kein Room Safe, kein Kühlschrank. Leider Probleme mit der Instandhaltung. So war da ein schlechter Geruch aus dem Ausguss der Duschkabine. Die Beleuchtung am Bett hatte einen Wackelkontakt. Kein eigenes Fitness Center, man kann das kleine Fitness Center des benachbarten Residence Inn mitbenutzen. Frühstücksbüffet ok. Insgesamt kein komfortables Hotel. Dafür aber preiswert.

I arrived a week before my reservation and asked for a change in reception. But on the booking website they indicated that in the hotel they could, If HAVE WANT, make a refund to me. I commented on it with the hotel being at the same reception, I cancelled and booked a new room, but they did not make any refund or discount, the young woman who attended me lacked empathy and sympathy. I paid what it was booking directly at reception, more expensive than on the web, and I will not return to this hotel nor recommend it to my friends and colleagues. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable.

The hotel is new and modern in design. The breakfast is exquisite and fresh. Booked in a double room, very spacious. The single room is the compact style of Europe. The hotel is close to the commercial pedestrian street and shopping is especially convenient. 5 minutes walk from the train station, through the local football museum, the local area is particularly lively on Saturday, you will know when you go...

This hotel charged me 600 euro a night. There must have been something on in Dortmund for anyone to pay this as it’s more like a backpackers than a hotel. I arrived at 11pm. My stay was prepaid in full by my corporate travel agent. They said they had no rooms and that I would have to wait and they would take me to another property somewhere in the city. I was very upset and refused to move and finally they “found” a room. At this point it was almost midnight. I asked could I order a beer to take to my room. The answer was no but I could go to another hotel nearby where there was a bar. 600 euros a night. I then got to my room which was fine and clean if basic. There were only European sockets. I have sleep apnea and need a cpap device and an adapter for a Uk plug. Every Marriot I have ever been to has the universal plugs (at least one or two in each room). This place has none. Just basic German sockets. I called down and said do you have an adapter I will even buy one of you sell them. I will even pay for someone to go and get one. I was told, no we don’t and we don’t have a conceirge or anyone like that and we won’t help. Even if it means you die. True Marriot hospitality. So I guess anyone without their own adapter is out of luck at this “hotel”. I then tried the internet. Out of luck there too, internet shows up but doesn’t connect or work. I called the front desk. It just rings out. Over and over. No one answers or bothers. This is the single worst experience I have ever had at a hotel at the price point or at any Marriot worldwide, and I have stayed in many of them over many years. This place should lose its accreditation and the management ought to be replaced. Do not stay here unless you get a room for 50 euro a night, maybe 75, which is all it’s worth it’s basically a nice backpackers just off a freeway. If Marriot sees this can someone please contact me as this hotel caused me health issues and was a disgrace to your brand.

Had a great stay at this Hotel for two nights from Wednesday 21st September, This Hotel is very fresh looking, I believe opened in 2021. A couple of hundred yards from the Central Station. You can see this Hotel directly in front of the Station. Turn left out of the Hotel and a further 5 minutes walk will take you to the pedestrian shopping area. Nice bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. Nice breakfast and staff...nothing negative to say about this property. Intercity hotels are a great brand with fair prices. Well done to all staff.

The hotel is just across the road from the pedestrianised town centre so really well located. Parking was free if you parked in the surface car park. The reception lobby was very ornate and hotel room was large. Only issue was a lack of aircon. As it was so hot the reception staff were happy to give large electric fans to anyone who asked for one to plug in their bedrooms.

I was a guest at the German Comic Con Limited Edition event at Westfallenhalle. The hotel is perfectly placed for the Centre as it is just a short walk away. I stayed in room 411 for two nights The room overlooks a busy road so you get the noise of traffic only when you open the window. The room was super clean and comfortable The air conditioning which was much needed during the heatwave was very effective - I had to turn it off! The bathroom is well lit with a walk in shower. In the morning there was an extensive breakfast buffet with a variety of cheeses, yoghurt, fresh fruit and a hot plate with bacon and eggs ..

It’s really a shame… this hotel is mostly totally fine, and I love that it was so convenient to the train station. But the beds are AWFUL. I mean *bad*. It’s like sleeping on top of a table… so hard, I’d wake up with numb fingers, hands, and feet. The pillows filled with crumbly material deflate immediately as well, making it just impossible to get a good night of sleep. It’s a shame, really!

What I missed was a multon on the matrace, lakens were straight on the matrace, head kiss soft. Shower was nice with towels shampoo and soap. Breakfast, more than enough and very good. Car could be lost in the parking garage below the hotel, but indicated when booking. From the hotel, you are right in the center. Staff is friendly
