If you're here for a quick stopover, we'll be no less accommodating than if you were with us for an extended stay, and Heathrow airport is only one and a half hours by car to make it easy to leave us when the time comes (though our high standards and commitment to your comfort may make your exit a tad harder to complete!). Ideally suited for visiting Bristol, Bath and the Cotswolds, guests will benefit from excellent access in and out, whether choosing us to host meetings, functions or relaxing breaks. Room was reasonably clean and bed comfortable. Shower height adjustment broken, and clearly had been for some time - no good for anybody over 3 foot tall. The smell of raw sewage in the corridor and the bathroom was appalling - apparently it’s been like that for some time. It really needs to get sorted……

Excellent service from all the Staff, very helpful and polite throughout our stay, all of us agreed and there were seven of us. Park and ride for Bath not far away either. would definitely return again.

Overall was good. The bathroom was dated and could do with a better clean. It’s an older building so unfortunately we could hear all the stomping around from room upstairs. Service was very good and rooms were decent size and beds comfortable.

We used the hotel as an overnight stop after a 125 mile trip to Wales. We found staff friendly and helpful. The evening meal was excellent but the full English breakfast was sadly overcooked. The room was adequate and clean and tidy.
Two drinking glasses in the room would have been useful and next time we will ask for a walk in shower. Stepping in and out of a bath to shower gets precarious as you get older but grab rails would help!

Beautiful property with nice amenities and amazing lovely people. For example, we arrived two times very late after the kitchen was closed, and both times the chef just jumped and helped us with a hot meal for our son.
