Not clean hotel

Loving it at Mediterranean Bay….. We are having a lovely holiday at Mediterranean Bay. We arrived several hours before the allotted check in time so were delighted that a room was swiftly made available to us (realise that this might not always be the case depending on seasonal capacity) We have stayed in many hotels in Europe and this is definitely of a high standard in our eyes. The most important thing for us is comfort and cleanliness of the room ….both of which are perfect. You won’t go hungry here…..there’s a very wide choice for the All Inclusive breakfast, lunch & dinner. (Drinks are refreshingly cold) The location allows for peaceful strolls around the harbour and along the promenade but the hustle and bustle is available if you prefer too. A huge thank you to ALL of the Team here for looking after us so well and to Jet2 for the opportunity. We are very grateful that we will be returning to the U.K. following such a totally relaxing break :)

Loved the location of the hotel but be aware it’s at the top of a steep hill and you go down the hill to get to the beach. The food is really nice here particularly the bolognese sauce! The staff are friendly and pool areas immaculate. The beach is such soft sand and they even have a safe within the parasol umbrella, you can lock your phone away whilst you down to the sea. Only improvement with the hotel would be there needs to be a bit more information of what’s here and where to get food/drinks etc.

Shocking misleading! Audacity of calling this hotel 4 stars is just crazy! 4 stars means one step behind 5 stars. For the hotel which is lacking a basic even 3 stars facilities its not acceptable. Let’s start from positives. Good location, 5 min walk to a nice sandy beach, lots of shops and places to dine. The hotel is clean and the shower stream is good. The stuff is friendly. Negatives: no basic facilities (hair conditioner, moisterisier, no cups, no glasss, no coffee/tea mashine, no iron board and iron, the shower doesn’t close. You have to pay extra for everything including the safe. Bedding is a very poor quality. God knows when it was last time when thin blankets were washed. The swimming pool at the back, surrounded by concrete blocks, jacuzzi at the front, without any lying beds. On the 7th floor sky bar with swimming pool is tiny. What you see at the pictures does not reflect the reality. The hotel layout is weird, 2 lifts only and one of them wasn’t working properly. The main disappoin**ent was food. Spain is famous for a quality food, and you really need to put an effort to ruin it. For 4 stars the choice was super poor, the food wasn’t nice at all. Every dinner we had we were ended up having just salads, because all the hot food was terrible. The meat and fish dry and tastless. Pasta overcooked. In terms of cold meets and cheese, we had only 2-3 options. We had to eat outside because it was so bad. No ashtrays in the rooms, where smoking was permitted. Overall it’s not a 4 star hotel and defo not near smth what luxury. I don’t understand how the hotel managed to get such a high rating. Well over priced. This is my 4th time in Majorca and this hotel is by far the worse I have ever stayed.

This is not even nearly 4 star service, but closer to zero - do not recommend. what went well: polite receiption and luggage storage room which I could use when arrived earlier and then after check out - brilliant! Only because of this I gave so high rate to this hotel. Notning else went well. Location - less than 2 out of 5. This hotel is close to the beach (9-10 min walk) but it's on kinda crappy street. I would recomend to choose something closer to "playa de palma" - there's much nicer everything. room: I was in a superior single - room is about 5 m2. I did not expect room to be huge, but to call something of the size 5 sq.m as "superior" - it's not 4 stars. Not nice view from the balcony - but I think there are no nice view from any balcony in this hotel. Food - very basic and the same every day. Note, there will be only one meat component. If you don't like it (very likely you don't) - you have no other choice but to go vegetarian. There's no drinks self-service for lunch and dinner. So you have to queue at the bar even for the glass of water. Hotel staff is not interested to keep you hydrated, so frequently they're just missing from there. So queueing-waiting time is really long. Staff - (except receiption) very rude. Probably the worst I've ever met. This is not 4 stars. Once, after being tyred to spend half of my dinner time just queueing at the bar, I asked the friend to grab me a drink (I could not stand there any more) - then the barista came and yelled at me that I should go to the bar myself. Really?? Are you kidding me? While she yelled rudely, there were queue of more than 5 people at the bar, but her preference was to run around and yell on hotel guests. mama mia. One day I went to rooftop area and sat down on the sunbed. I was only one there, noone else. Very rude female in staff uniform came and told that I can't occupy this sunbed, I must pay. If I don't pay I must go downstairs. Exuse me, WHAT??? This hotel is not suitable for the holiday. Maybe business trip, but not holiday. At check-in you will be given 2 pages with the hotel rules, dresscode and other things will be there. Not relaxing a**osphere at all.

Lovely friendly staff and the hotel and location is perfect for our break away. Fantastic weather and we loved the sky bar. We enjoyed just relaxing in this location, thank you for a wonderful time. We know the area well so will definitely come back again.

The rooms are quite small. The bathroom is part of the room, so if someone is in the shower, you can see it. It could be good if you are at the hotel with a pretty girl, but I was here with a friend. Unfortunately only one elevator works and old people are lazy and don't take the stairs. The lifeguard filters with the hotel guests but not with me.

i have had an amazing week here and an amazing experience, all the staff are lovely and welcoming, i haven’t had any problems or issues the hole time i have been here. i would highly recommend it to others thanks you everyone for a brilliant week.

Great hotel! Amazing staff. We had a problem in our room and it was cleared right away. The food is good in the morning, lunch and dinner. It’s overall an amazing experience that I already recommended to my friends and family. I will, for sure, be back.
