Comfort Inn Fayetteville West Near Fort Liberty

The bed was comfortable, linens smelled of fresh bleach which we liked. The hotel had a funky odor as soon as you got to a floor from the elevator. The room was tidy, but on further review the bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would like. We had our own sanitizing wipes. Tub was not completely clean and contained hair. Gaping hole between toilet and tub, where the wall and floor meet, with a tile shoved into it. Rooms not cleaned daily, only after you check out. If you need more towels, you have to gather up your used items and bring to the front desk for exchange. Front desk personnel very friendly.

Since my last visit at his location was pleasant, I decided to stay at this location. Can I say I’m highly upset and disappointed. Upon checking in with the front desk receptionist I informed her I didn’t want a connecting room. The receptionist ensured me the room wasn’t a connecting room. As I entered the room, I immediately noticed the pieces of tissue on the bathroom floor. I then noticed the connecting door. I went back to the front desk to inform of the unclean bathroom and request another room. The receptionist herself was unsure which rooms in the hotel were connected and waited for the maintenance man to come to assist her. This was frustrating to me as I felt the receptionist should know which rooms are connectors or not. Finally, a room was found for us in the second building. The receptionist ensured the room was clean as she just deep cleaned it the day prior. Upon inspecting the room, it was not clean the ice bucket had hair and red spots on it. There were no washcloths in the room and even when calling the front desk, they told me I would have to come to the front desk to get it. Once I begin to tell them how the room was unclean, they sent someone up with it. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or washcloths. There was no Do Not Disturb sign on the back of the room door. I had to go to the front desk to get it. Very hard to get into the parking area for the hotel. Traffic is very sick going by the front of the hotel just kind of a dingy, dirty look especially for carpeting in the elevator and the general area inside and outside.

I booked a king room but when I got to the hotel, the room was dirty. So they gave us another room, but the room was a double bed instead of another king room. On top of that there was no hot water in the room at all. We were told to let it run for 30 minutes did that and it still was no hot water there wasn’t any wash rags in the bathroom either. They did send maintenance up to the room, but they came really early in the morning and while we were sleep. It was just an unpleasant stay overall. I was really disappointing. They could have at least given us queen beds..

We travel frequently, at least 8 times a year. We have always felt confident in the quality of the Comfort Inn brand. We will no longer assume this. Our room was awful to say the least. Dirty, a leaking battery on the nonfunctional clock, a non working hairdryer, filthy windows and very poor maintenance throughout. We will think twice before booking another Comfort Inn stay!

Neighbors are loud. Smoking in room next to me. Stains in floor. Bed squeaks

About what we expected. Not the best, not the worst. Good value for what we received.
