Best Spa Hotel in Hanover Township

When I arrived it was not what I had expected. The staff was friendly. The staff at the reception were sometimes a bit withdrawn but if you initiate a conversation they were friendly. The cleaning staff was exceptionally friendly. My room was cleaned every day, bed made and enough clean towels everyday. Absolutely no complaints about the cleaning. I even got an extra pillow when I asked for it. The bed was firm and for me as a soft bed sleeper no problem at all. I slept very well. The internet was fast and I had a strong connection inside and outside the building. The room was a bit outdated if I compare it to other countries I've visited but for American standard it was fine. TV had more than enough channels and only once in a while I would hear a plane. I got the impression that some guests have long stays in the hotel because some children went to school - not that this was disturbing. The air-conditioning was a bit loud when running but it didn't disturb me. This location was easy to reach by car and close to stores and highway. I have two things that I would like to have seen differently. The bright white lights next to the bed. Less ”bright white” is my preference. The breakfast was the same everyday (fried potatoes with scrambled eggs). There were also cereals, bagel and toast available which were served on a paper plate with plastic fork and knife. Two different loaves of bread would give you more variety.

We've stayed here several times during the 2021-2022 ski season. The two bedroom suite worked well when all three of us stayed here. The breakfast is good in the current pandemic times; vegetarian-friendly, with hot food, cereal, juice, fruit, breakfast bars, etc. I wish the weekend breakfast started earlier than 7:30, which would work better with Blue Mountain's 8 am weekend opening time. Exercise room has free weights. Quiet location, many restaurant options nearby. Reasonable TV channel options. The rooms have been very warm on arrival; turning off the heat for a while for a reset before restarting the heat has been effective for comfort.

Our venue was canceled last minute and the hotel did not care. They get customers all the time because of this venue and to not understand or care about the cancellation by the event was horrible. The only good thing that happened is the third party app that handled the planned trip stepped up big time and spent almost six hours trying to negotiate with the hotel to no avail. Trip.com is the best!!!

There is a large shopping mall and shopping center near the hotel. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. The owner is an Indian who is more enthusiastic and friendly.

If they had less than one star I would post it as that. You are better off staying on the sidewalk outside than inside this building (which is disgusting too). We just spent 2 nights here 7/15-7/16/2022. The place is a S- hole from the outside in. The rooms smell and are rundown with rips in the rugs and loose tiles in the bathroom. There was debris on the bathroom floor and the counter was filthy with a needle behind the faucet. All the rugs are well worn and dirty throughout the building. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors above you and to the sides. We were woken up from the yelling and screaming next to us at 1am and it went on for 2 hours. The place is a haven for ******s and whatever else you can imagine. The staff does not care and they were not very friendly. Avoid this place at all costs. The Scottish Inn down the street can give this place a run for the money, I don't recommend staying there either. They don't automatically clean/dress up your room, you have to dump your towels in the hallway on the sticky rug if you wish to have new ones. There are printed notes in clear sleeves throughout the lobby stuck to the walls (very tacky). On the positive side: the water pressure in the shower was adequate as well as the hot water. The AC worked well in the room too. The free coffee wasn't too bad either. This is my opinion from my experience, yours may be different but I doubt it.
