In a small village 5 minutes away from the Autobahn, this country inn has modern clean rooms, nice beds, restaurant, a pool and even a kegelbahn! We travelled with a small dog that was also welcome. Nice beds, quiet room, good shower and price is good value for money. The surroundings is farmland and has many hiking trails. Good service, restaurant typical German , good selection.

Lovely hotel, with fab family room set up (bunk bed in a separate room that was only attached to the master bedroom) with lovely attention to detail. Rooms were clean and a good size. Pool was lots of fun with buttons to press and the food was nice!

Easy and comfortable for one night. Second best not so comfortable but room overall great. Good breakfast.

We booked the 'activity special' getaway at this hotel. This included two nights, breakfast, one evening dinner, use of pool and sauna, the use of the bowling alley and a lunch bag on the first day for a hike. Lets start with the positive: The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was very good and there was lots to choose from. The coffee there was good also. It was nice having the option to use the pool and sauna. The rooms are very spacious and the quiet. Now the negative: Before booking this hotel, we had a nice phone call with someone to explain to them that we would need a room for someone with a wheelchair. He was very accommodating and booked three rooms for us, right beside each other, one of which was the handicapped friendly room. Upon arrival, they informed us that they would have to take out a baby bed of said room as it was accidentally booked for someone else. This didn't bother us too much as it got resolved very quickly, but it was a foreshadowing of their unorganisedness. Included in the 'active special' getaway was the use of the bowling alley. We were at the hotel from Saturday til Monday and were going to go bowling Sunday night. Sunday morning, we were going to book it for that evening and they told us it would be closed. This should have been communication upon arrival, or better yet, when booking this hotel. Don't sell a two day special, when one of the activities is not available as advertised one out of the two nights. On their homepage, it says that the pool will close at 10pm. Upon arrival, the owner informed us that it will be closing at 9:30pm that night already. Later that evening, we just got out of the sauna at 9:10pm and were going to enjoy the pool for the remaining 20 minutes when the owner showed up and said he was going to close it down already. He then let us swim a few more rounds, but still. Would it be so bad to come at 9:30pm to close it when you said you would and not at 9:15pm when people are still using it? The next evening, the lights in the pool were also already off at 7:30pm when the pool was supposed to be open until 8pm. Additionally, the 'hot tub' was hardly warm sadly. The evening we used the pool, a nice young lady lent us towels and bathing robes. We had to give a deposit and would get it back upon check out. Once checkout came around the corner, they forgot to give us the deposit of 30 euros back. We had to go back to reception and they fixed that problem but informed us that we were just getting back 15, as the other 15 was for cleaning of the robes. What a surprise that was to us. I informed them that no one had told us about this, otherwise we wouldn't have asked for them. The owner asked if I'm sure no one told us. I explained who was at the reception that night and that she failed to mention this. He then replied 'okay then, there are instructions about this fee listed (we never saw them) but since she did not tell you, we will give you the money back and will have her pay for it'.

5 ⭐️ Excellent place! Beutiful standard with superb service. The staff was very taking care of the guest. The pool and sauna area is lovely.

Well located hotel off the motorway North of Bremen. 3 different buildings to choose from and an onsite restaurant (bar closed due to covid). We had a room in the more modern building at the back and it was nice. Some rooms probably get the noise from the pool fan, right across. If you want to use the pool, be aware that it's not open all day as it's used for swimming lesson etc, so ring & ask re the schedule. We enjoyed our stay and the food in the restaurant. Breakfast was plentyful and really good too.

Na een lange rit met veel Stau een fikse regenbuien kwamen aan in dit vooraf geboekte hotel. Aller vriendelijkste ontvangst, een prima kamer en een vorstelijke maaltijd. Na zo’n tocht kun je niets beters wensen. Wij komen hier zeker terug.

Zimmer teils modernisiert, beim Bett hätte man etwas mehr investieren können, war ein wenig lieblos. Ansonsten alles in Ordnung

Hotellet var ok, men ikke mere. Sengen var desværre ikke så god, den knirkede og var meget lav. Virkelig varmt på værelset.

Wir wohnten 4 Tage in diesem Hotel in der Bremer Gegend. Das Hotel hat ein sehr variiertes Publikum, sowohl Familien als Paare und Geschäftsleute finden hier Unterkunft. Das Hotel liegt zentral in Niedersachsen um Bremen, Hamburg und Lüneburg zu besuchten. Es verfügt über eine super Wellnessanlage mit Hallenbad und drei Gebäude. Das Stammhaus, das Haus Barkmeier mit der Badelandschaft und das Gästehaus. Die beiden ersten Häuser verfügen über einen Aufzug liegen aber zur Straβenseite, das Letztere liegt nach hinten und ist wesentlich ruhiger, hat private Balkone aber keinen Aufzug. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich, die Komfortzimmer sind geräumig und haben gute Betten. Uns hat eine Couch gefehlt, diese Zimmer sind aber Familien vorbehalten. Ein riesiger Vorteil sind die Fliegengitter, so kann man insektenfrei schlafen. Leider befand unser Zimmer sich direkt über dem Eingang wo öfters geraucht wurde, dafür kann die Geschäftsführung aber nichts. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung obwohl uns Süβes wie Kekse, Cake, Kuchen oder Croissants gefehlt haben, das ist aber reine Geschmackssache. Die Säfte kamen aus der Machine und hatten einen chemischen Geschmack, der uns nicht gefallen hat. Die Gastronomie hat uns nicht überzeugen können: beschränktes Angebot; Pommes, Fritten und Kroketten aus dem Tiefkühlschrank, Suppe aus der Packung ebenso für die Champignonrahmsauce , Schnitzel nicht knusprig . Die Bratkartoffeln waren hingegen sehr lecker und frisch. Vielleicht sind wir –in der Gastronomie aufgewachsen- zu streng, aber der Chef hat unseren Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllen können. Fazit: In Ordnung für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt als Durchreise.

Die Empfangsdame hat sich freundlich und professionell verhalten. Wir bekamen alle notwendigen Infos und das Zimmer war bezugsfertig. Leider haben wir auf dem Balkon im Gästehaus jede Menge von Fliegen vom Nachbar-Bauernhof kaum abwehren können, sodass wir uns in Zimmer zurückzogen. Wir hofften im Speisesaal auf Besserung. Die Fliegen waren nicht ganz so invasive, aber vorhanden. Im Sommer sei das noch penetranter, wurde uns mitgeteilt. Das Essen war gut und in ausreichender Menge, aber bei voller Hotelbelegung ist an gewissen Zeiten das Frühstück ein Spießrutenlauf und die Speisen, Kaffee sind eine halbe Stunde vor Frühstücksende nicht mehr vollumfänglich vorhanden. Die Bestellung musste man dann in der Küche abgeben. Am ersten Tag war der Lachs ungenießbar, er schmeckte nach gar nichts. Das Abendessen war qualitativ und von der Portionen her sehr gut. Das Servicepersonal war stets sehr bemüht, aber es liegt nicht an ihnen, sondern am Sparverhalten der GL. Gut, dass der Aussenplatz hinter dem Hotel an Pfingsten in Betrieb genommen wurde, denn da stank es nicht nach Landwirtschaft, wie auf dem Balkon.

Het was een fijne verblijf met vriendelijke bas en personnel. Nice swimming pool & jaccuzzi & sauna (used the bio-sauna).

Dejligt store værelser, rene og funktionelle. Stort, flot og rent badeværelse - det var dejligt at stoppe her. Ville ønske jeg havde haft lidt mere tid.
