"It's a decent hotel, clean, if a little shabby. Reception is closed after 10 p.m., but if you give them notice, they'll give you a door code and a safe code for your room keys."

"Just one reminder for those who want to book this room as stated that they will provide ”2 king beds” in the room, that's totally not true, only 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed only and the front office told us that this hotel did not have any rooms with 2 beds actually, so just be careful and unfortunately, the room provides a open kitchen, yet the cooker is not working for tourists staying in the hotel, you will have a free ticket for the local bus, but please do ask the front office unless you may not get it (luckily we search online and find out this, so we go back to the front office and ask for it) Other than that, the location of this hotel is very convenient, just few mins from the station."

"Location is 10-12 minutes from city centre by tram and about the same for major train station should you wish to do day trips to Belp, Thun etc. Room is clean and staff is friendly although they keep chasing you for your room number if you get breakfast too (I did for all my mornings). Room is ok, bed is comfortable but heads up if you face the tram you might hear the outdoor noise until midnight or so. Reception staff speak good English and is helpful if you need any suggestions for your trip."

"Counter staffs are very helpful, helped us arranged a 3rd room on the same floor and gave us free upgrade for the 1st 2 rooms. Rooms are spacious on the 5th floor. Buffet breakfast acceptable, can see staffs topping up food regularly. Carpark is quite a distance away and costly, cost us almost 50 euros for 2 days but hotel allows car to be parked in front for loading/unloading up to 15mins and also 17% discount provided. Right next to supermarket 👍"

"The bedding was super comfortable! The sofa bed was great too, no backaches after sleeping on it. Kids under 11 stay for free, and there's a daily minibar! That's awesome! The location is really convenient, tram 9 takes you right to the hotel entrance. I think next time I visit Switzerland, I'll stay at this hotel for the whole trip – it's so easy to get everywhere, including a round trip to Jungfraujoch. And since I wake up early due to jet lag, it's nice to know their steak is delicious. Plus, it's right across from the train station."

"This is an old-money luxury hotel. Wealthy Swiss people specifically come here for lunch. The service is exceptional; they're incredibly responsive, helpful, and super enthusiastic. The rooms are spacious enough, and the location in the old town is very close to the clock tower, just a 10-minute walk to the train station."

"This hotel of Bern boasts an exceptional location. It’s a convenient walk from the train station even with luggage. Getting to the area’s major attractions is easy. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The rooms are very clean and offer nice city views. Highly recommended—great choice for your stay."

"The family room was incredibly spacious, even the bathroom was huge, which was a pleasant surprise because hotel rooms in Zurich, Lucerne, and Interlaken tend to be quite small. The hotel's location is very close to the train station, which is large with many exits. The exit closest to the hotel is just a three to four-minute walk away, though on my first visit, I got a bit lost and took a roundabout route. It's a good idea to ask the hotel staff for the best directions in advance. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The downside is that the mattress on the sofa bed was too soft after it was unfolded. It's fine for one night, but sleeping on it for longer would definitely cause back pain. This hotel is suitable for those staying one night while exploring Bern."
