"This is great, an old-style hotel with mechanical locks. The main door is locked after 10pm. It is best to change the key at the front desk before going out. The most important thing is that the door key is too heavy. There are many rules in the hotel. You must avoid dirtying the room. The deposit is 200 Swiss francs. Overseas cards are refunded on the same day, but it is hard to say for domestic credit cards. The balcony has a good view, facing the snow-capped mountains"

"We had a great stay in the Junior Suite, which was very suitable for three people. One of the beds was a sofa bed, but the mattress quality was still comfortable. We especially loved the mountain view from the rooms and could even enjoy the sunset right from our window or balcony without needing to go anywhere. We would also recommend trying their breakfast — it offers a wide variety of choices, including Asian options like rice and sauces. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a room we would recommend."

"The hotel is super easy to find, just a 3-5 minute walk from Interlaken West Station. From West Station, you can buy tickets to anywhere, and it's also very close to the boat pier, making the location really convenient. They offer free luggage storage too. The building itself is a bit old, so the facilities aren't super modern, but the bedding was dry and pretty clean. Room 4 gets sun from two sides and is great for ventilation when you open the windows, so it was quite comfortable. Breakfast is simple but they have boiled eggs, which are a must for refueling. There are fresh food supermarkets nearby for plenty of supplies. Oh, and the ice cream shop in town is delicious, highly recommend it!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Weisses Kreuz and would highly recommend it.
The location is absolutely excellent — right in the heart of town with everything within walking distance. There are plenty of amenity shops, restaurants, and attractions just steps away, making it incredibly convenient. Parking was straightforward as well. There is nearby parking available, and payment applies from 7am onwards. We found the parking spaces to be relatively spacious, which was a plus. Cars can’t really drive into the hotel so we were a bit lost initially
The receptionist was such an amazing lady — warm, welcoming, and professional. She kindly upgraded us to a corner room that was bigger than what we had originally booked, which we really appreciated.
The room itself was comfortable, and we especially loved having a bathtub — it made the stay extra relaxing after a long day out. They were very thoughtful. They gave us chocolate on the bed. Thats sweet. There are lift for our heavy luggage as well.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Considering that breakfast is included in the price, we felt it was very good value for money.
The only small note is that the corridor lighting is quite dim, which can make it feel a little heavy or subdued. However, the overall atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and lively, with what seemed like a high occupancy rate — clearly a popular choice.
Overall, this is a very well-located, comfortable hotel offering great value. We would gladly stay here again."

"This hotel was honestly a really good value for the price. The location is very convenient — less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, and there are also bus stops nearby, so getting around was very easy.
It is in a quiet neighborhood with a nice atmosphere. Opening the window in the room, you can see calm and peaceful scenery outside, which made the stay feel very relaxing.
The room and bathroom were nice, and the bathroom had a separate shower area, which was really convenient.
One thing I especially appreciated was the shared dining area. There was a place to boil water, make coffee or tea, and they also provided microwave, basic utensils and tableware. It was very useful for us since we brought some instant noodles and simple food back to the hotel at night. Haha, the selection of one British tea brand they provided here felt even more varied than what I usually see in supermarkets back in the UK.
The staff were also very kind and helpful. I accidentally lost a T-shirt there, but they contacted housekeeping for me and eventually found it. I really appreciated their help.
We stayed here for two nights, and because the hotel was fully booked for our last night in Interlaken, we moved to another hotel that was more expensive. But we still preferred this one because it felt more comfortable and practical for travelers like us."

Pros:
1. Hotel staff were friendly both at reception and breakfast
2. Rooms were fairly large and modern, views were incredibly (ask for mountain facing room)
3. They will give you an Interlaken guest card.
4. Location is about 7-10 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and surrounded by high-end shops.
5. There's free self-service coffee and tea making area at one of the floors and its helpful if you have a jug/bottle to fill cold/hot water
Cons:
1. Same breakfast everyday and it lacked variety
2. No kettle nor cups to make hot drinks (notice this is the case with hotels in Switzerland
3. TV channels were mostly in German language"

The location is fantastic, right next to the train station. The front desk staff were very friendly. There were no curtains in the room, and the charging outlets weren't European standard; you need a Swiss adapter, which you can also borrow from the front desk. The main issue is that the charging ports face downwards, so chargers fall out due to gravity. This design is quite frustrating. The breakfast was good, though.

I'd give it a 9 out of 10. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, about a ten-minute walk from the Ostbahnhof. It's a bit far from the town center, so dining and shopping require a 15-20 minute walk. Overall, the hotel is very clean, and the breakfast spread is quite good. If I visit Interlaken again, I'd definitely consider staying here.

Guest UserCar can park at the hotel entrance free of charge. Room is spacious for 4 people. Staff are friendly and provided us free travel card within interlaken area. My daughters are happy that the staff gave them chocolate and candy were put on the bed at Day 1. 10 minutes walk from Interlaken West Station. Not many choice for breakfast but the taste is good. Hotel cost is super expensive during summer time in Interlaken......but I still think this is a brilliant hotel.

The first night the shower in our room was too hot that we couldn't take the shower. It was fixed only on the 2nd day. Breakfast spread is rather limited and charges extra for omelette which are normally included in most breakfast packages. However, they do have hard boiled eggs in their breakfast package. Location is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Interlaken Ost if you're carrying luggage. However there.is a station drop off service offered by the hotel free of charge.

HW.TANI had a pleasant stay at Hotel Chalet Swiss during my visit to Interlaken.
The hotel has a charming Swiss chalet atmosphere that made the stay feel cozy and relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything I needed was provided.
The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of bread, cereals, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, and drinks. It was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore the surrounding mountains and lakes.
The location is convenient, within walking distance of Interlaken West station and the town center. It was easy to get around and access public transportation for day trips.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience was smooth and enjoyable. While the hotel may not be the most modern, it offers good value for money and a comfortable stay in a peaceful setting.
Overall, I had a nice experience and would consider staying here again when visiting Interlaken.

Kate Marquez-AzucenaWe had low expectations with this hotel due to previous reviews. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that there wasn’t anyone in the reception until 3:01pm. Other than that, the room was a little dim, but clean and they do day cleaning and top up of room. There is a smart TV and water heater which were useful. Breakfast was average. We like that there is a pantry with free snacks for guests. The location was superb!

LLSZ3First, the hotel locations is very near to Interlaken West train station and it's walking distance to Interlaken city centre as well as Interlaken Ost. So it's great and easy access to most of the places like grindelwald, spiez, thun, and brienz.
The hotel itself it's abit old and honestly I dont really like the bathroom as it abit like run out.
The cupboard and hanger also having some dust which makes me feels uneasy.
I booked room with single bed, it has window but because now they are doing some outdoor renovation which blocked the view outside my window, that's really like a minus point to me.
Overall I think, with the price I pay, I should get a better hotels than this.

Anonymous UserStayed at Hotel Toscana for 2 nights (Nov. 13-15, 2024). One issue we had was we lost a necklace. We were wearing scarves so my sister and I left 2 gold necklaces at the table. We didn’t know there will be housekeeping as we’re only staying for 2 nights. All of us were out 10AM and went back 6PM. When we got back, 1 of the necklace was gone. We looked everywhere, under the mattress and bed, all sides of the table, inside the bathroom, and every side of the room, but it was gone. The receptionist was helful enough to check with her boss and the housekeeping but who would admit they stole something, right? I just hope whoever took it found a good use out of it. Other than that, the location is perfect, it’s within a walking distance (around 7-10min) to Interlaken West station. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area as well. The hotel room is equipped with kettle and glass cups, no mugs. No airconditioning unit but it was pretty cold during our stay so we just opened the window a bit and it was fine. It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice views of the mountain and people paragliding. The room looked clean the moment we entered, but while we were searching under the bed and tables, dust has piled up underneath, it was very dusty like it hasn’t been cleaned for months and they only sweep the visible areas of the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee even before we used it. I hope they improve these parts, the hotel’s not that bad if you’ve experienced staying there (in my opinion).
