Rudha-na-Craige

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Rudha-Na-Craige in lovely Inveraray! The house itself is beautiful set back from the road with ample parking. Our room was gorgeous & spacious with a wonderful view of the loch and had everything you could possibly need. Breakfast served in the beautiful large dining room was delicious and excellent quality cooked by Jana and served by Rob who are both perfect hosts and happy to help in any way they can to make sure their guests have the best possible stay. Wishing you both all the best for the future and hope we can stay with you again!

Perfect hotel. Rob and Jana perfectly hosted us. We got great support and insights for places of interest. Breakfast was delicious and we already arranged our next stay. We are looking forward to meeting them next year.

First class accommodation. Robert and Jana are perfect hosts. Rudha na craigie is immaculate in beautiful surrounds overlooking Loch Fyne. Beautiful light and airy room. With everything needed for a weekend away. Amazing hot powerful shower. Definitely return.

Recently returned from a fantastic stay at Rudha Na Craige. We phoned ahead of arrival to see if early check in was possible, where Rob, Jana and the house keeping team specifically went out there way to ensure our room was ready for us. The guest house is beautifully decorated, highlighting the original character of this gorgeous Victorian building, which in itself has a very interesting history. Our room was very spacious, full of natural light, with delightful views of Loch Fyne from one window, and the well kept gardens from the other. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we both had an excellent night sleep. The next morning we made full use of the breakfast buffet table, and thoroughly enjoyed our cooked-to-order full breakfast and salmon with scrambled eggs, all of which was made using locally sourced produce. To top off our breakfast, we watched porpoises and seals from our table making full use of the quiet morning on the loch. We can't thank Rob and Jana enough for their fantastic hospitality, and very much look forward to staying with them again in the future.

Unbelievable stay at Rudha-Na-Craige. Robert and Jana have left no stone unturned in creating this place and are the most wonderful hosts. I went with my son and we had two huge, stunning rooms at the front of the building overlooking Loch Fyne. Best nights sleep I have had in months. Every amenity in the rooms. Big showers with perfect water pressure. Luxury you’d expect to find in a 5 star hotel. Truly. Breathtaking views watching dolphins swim past over breakfast. Perfect scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast. A lot of superlatives I know but there is no other way of putting it. We really did not want to leave and it will stay in my memory for a long, long time.

This lovely place boasts beautiful views of the loch, super comfy beds, and really nice hot showers. The sociable hosts are incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and offer great suggestions for things to do in town. I would definitely love to come again and enjoy the wonderful hospitality and stunning scenery!

Our three day stay in Inveraray was made perfect by staying with Rob and Jana at Rudha-Na-Craige. The rooms were very clean, well provisioned, beds quite comfortable and the location was perfect with beautiful views. The breakfasts had something for everyone and Jana was willing to meet special requests. Rob was extremely helpful and a tremendous host. Highly recommended!

This was the highlight stay of our trip thru Scotland. The hosts Robert and his wife were the nicest people we met on our trip. The rooms were spacious, clean, with great views of the gardens and waterfront. Breakfast was a variety of items that would be a pleasure to any palate. We would highly recommend staying here.
