A truly unforgettable stay! If I ever return to Istanbul, I'd definitely choose this place again. The room had a very clean and upscale European-style decor, I forgot to take pictures. It had both heating and air conditioning, plus a mini-fridge. The breakfast was delicious! My favorites were the scrambled eggs and a Turkish sausage called sucuk. On New Year's Day, they even prepared small gift bags for guests. The staff were all incredibly professional, friendly, and enthusiastic, and they even fed the street cats! The location is superb. It's just a 1-minute walk to Galata Tower (I timed it myself), 3 minutes to Şişhane metro station, and 8 minutes to the T1 tram line. These stations form the core transportation network from Merrodi to all the major attractions in Istanbul.

Hospitality of this hotel was very nice! The room is very clean and amenity is enough. However, this is located upper area of city(near to the Galata tower) and you have to walk steep slope.So I think a little tough to move.

We booked i nice room with the city view but were given a small room on the ground floor. We asked to change buy the reception guy was very rude and was talking bad words. Very bad experience.

Great hotel, just next to Galata Tower! Overall very charming, and comfortable! Our view on the tall parking lot opposite the hotel wasn't great. The windows in our room let cold air in which makes the room always a bit chilly (we were there in winter, it was snowing). On arrival we got stuck in the elevator for a few minutes, which scared us so that we never took the elevator again during our 6 days stay. The staff is all very nice, very helpful. Great breakfast buffet, the breakfast room in the basement is small.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location is great, very close to the subway station, pier, Istiklal Street, and Galata Tower. However, they need to improve their hygiene monitoring; for example, we found uncleared hair upon check-in.

The location is perfect if you want to be near Galata Tower and Taksim, it's exactly 2-3 mins walk from both. Also 2 mins walk from the metro station. The hotel has a nice classic vibe about it. The only problem that it's a bit too loud and the sound proofing of the window is almost nonexistent. Breakfast was ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

There are three hotels with the same name in this area. I went to the wrong one the first time, so make sure to check the address carefully. Although the room wasn't large, it was very clean and new. The breakfast was plentiful; I finished eating at 10 AM and skipped lunch. I can't believe prices in Turkey are double those in Shanghai. The hotel is located in a bustling area, making it very convenient for getting around.
