We stayed here this past weekend for a wedding at Palumbo Lodge. The front staff was one of the best we have encountered. The room was clean and bedding was nice. The maintenance staff was great and always had a smile and a greeting. Breakfast was delicious and I especially loved the pancake making machine. Push a button and two minutes later, two pancakes came out. Coffee available 24 hours. The front staff were so friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. My only con is that the sink is outside the bathroom, but that is something that can’t be changed.

Family of 4 (2 young boys) stayed here during a weekend getaway to the area. Close enough to many attractions-main one being the Chainsaw Rendezvous-yet a little outside the ‘downtown’ area. Typical motel feel, a little outdated, but it was clean, affordable, and comfortable enough for a 2-night stay. We were in the back area, ground level, so we could park right outside our door. There is a restaurant inside, but we didn’t get to eat there-it was very crowded every evening though, so must be good! Should we venture back to that area, we’d stay again!

Dean checked us in, gave great service and suggestions as to what to check out in the area! He was still there in the morning working a double shift, you couldn’t tell with his attitude, so friendly and kind every encounter we had with him. We even saw him outside cleaning up/trimming flowers that were planted. What a hard worker! The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay at more Cobblestones if we encounter them if they are anything like the standards we found at this location! Definitely 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great job!

This 3-bedroom cottage is situated on 8 private acres in the Moshannon State Forest where guests can cross-country ski or hike on the property. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen and a screened-in porch. Seating for 10-people is available in the dining room in this post-and-beam Cedarwood Lodge cottage. Homemade bread and muffins or coffee cake is provided to guests on their first night. A picnic table and gas grill are also on site. The cottage includes a TV with DVD/VCR for guests’ use.
