"My stay at the Shimao Manjin Hotel far exceeded my expectations, somewhat making up for not seeing the rime ice. Although it's been open for over ten years, the hotel rooms and lobby still maintain a five-star standard in terms of decor and quality of materials. Its location at the head of Jilin Bridge over the Songhua River in the city center is particularly stunning, with beautiful night views of both banks of the Songhua River. The hotel's service also deserves praise. When the phone in my room wasn't working, staff came to fix it immediately after I reported it. When I casually mentioned needing more bottled water, they promptly sent extra bottles. A particularly noteworthy incident happened during breakfast on check-out day: my cardholder slipped out of my down jacket pocket onto the dining chair without me noticing. The staff quickly found it and called me back, preventing a delay to my high-speed rail journey. Additionally, the hotel's restaurants are highly recommended. The steaks at the buffet, the hot pot restaurant, and the Japanese cuisine are all authentic and reasonably priced. I will definitely choose Shimao Manjin again on my next visit to Jilin to see the rime ice."

"I've never actively left a hotel review before, but this place truly deserves five stars for its service, facilities, and dining. It's awesome! **Location:** Step outside and turn the corner, and you're surrounded by amazing food. I ordered a lot of takeout from here and ate until I was stuffed, yet my wallet barely took a hit. **Service:** In the morning, they called to ask about my preferred check-in time. Upon arrival, three front desk staff immediately assisted me, and they proactively upgraded my room since one was available. A kind gentleman helped me carry three takeout orders and my luggage to my room. When I asked for a disposable bathtub liner, an auntie brought one to my door right away. In the evening, I wasn't feeling well and wanted hot milk. After my takeout arrived at the front desk, a young lady microwaved it for me and delivered it to my room, even asking if I needed a heat pad. **Room Facilities:** They perfectly met my needs. The disposable toiletries in my booked room were great, and there was a vanity table. The Dyson hairdryer kept my hair from getting frizzy. I'm not one to nitpick, but to be objective, I checked some spots that looked like water stains and found they were actually scratches, not a sign that the room wasn't cleaned properly. The hot water came on quickly, there was a humidifier, and the underfloor heating wasn't too hot. The gym was also very good; the equipment met my needs. **Dining:** My breakfast was simple, but the variety and quality of the food at the hotel's restaurant were great, and the dining staff were very enthusiastic! I forgot to take photos, but I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and recommend it to my friends!"

"The room was incredibly comfortable, well-designed, and offered a fantastic view outside the window. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and since it was Christmas, we even received a lovely little Christmas gift, which made us feel very welcome. The highlight was definitely the bed and pillows – they were just the right firmness, making it easy to fall asleep. Jilin is truly a wonderful place, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!"

"Fantastic! The front desk sold some lovely cultural and creative products, which saved me time from shopping elsewhere. They also gave us complimentary tickets to the bathhouse, and we practically had the third floor to ourselves. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and the housekeeping service was very thoughtful. Noticing I enjoyed coffee, they deliberately left extra packets and even a kind note."

"My recent stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with such warmth. The staff were not only patient and helpful with the check-in process, but they also thoughtfully recommended local dining spots and attractions. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable – I slept like a baby. The smart devices were a great touch; being able to control the lights and AC from my phone was super convenient and modern. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. The freshly made omelets and wontons were absolutely delicious! At check-out, they even gave me a complimentary souvenir, which just shows how much attention to detail they put into everything. This hotel offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!"

"The room facilities are very user-friendly, and the service level and attitude are excellent. The hotel's breakfast is also rich and varied. The location is very close to the bustling Henan Street, and Hunchun Street Night Market is right outside the front door on the right. It's just over a hundred meters from the famous Songhua River, which makes the night view even more beautiful, and boat tours of the Songhua River are practically on your doorstep! I've stayed at the Atour Hotel on Beijing Road in Jilin City several times now, and it's genuinely good."

"Traveling from Changbai Mountain to Yanji and then to Jilin, a friend recommended this hotel, and it offered great value for money. The three ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly; they even made us hot coffee, answered all our questions, and were generally very helpful – I'm really grateful! The room window offered a nice street view, and the triple-pane glass provided excellent soundproofing. Both heating and air conditioning were available, so it wasn't too dry. The room size was just right, which I was very pleased with. The shower had ample hot water, and housekeeping was prompt. The hotel's location is convenient for getting anywhere, with easy access to transport. I even got to see the rime ice in Jilin, which was very lucky!"

"The front desk staff were incredibly sweet, especially Zhang Ting and Xiao Hou, who made check-in and check-out super fast and even upgraded our room! The ski-in/ski-out access was incredibly convenient, and the complimentary cable car tickets took us straight to the mountaintop. Our room was wonderfully warm, and soaking in a bath with a snowy view after skiing was absolute perfection. The breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail in the service was impeccable. This truly lives up to its five-star rating; we'll definitely be back!"
