Extremely spacious room with a fake fireplace, seating area and a little balcony (although no chair or table so can't really sit outside). Bed is really comfortable and the room was quiet apart from noisy neighbors in the hallway. Bathtub and nice shower. The hotel is very dated but grandiose and expansive, making busy Jiuzhaigou seem quiet. It's set back from the street which helps with noise. It's a smoking hotel though which is unpleasant for non-smokers. The pool was closed and nowhere to be found. Breakfast was fine, some non-Chinese options and basic coffee.

The hotel introduces itself as ”Jiuzhaigou State Guesthouse”. I chose this hotel because I prefer and trust the state-owned hotel. This is the real experience after checking in. Let’s talk about the advantages first: the service is really good, there is no smiling service, but it is very practical. The restaurant's food is extremely delicious and the portions are large. Five adults couldn't finish the set meal for four purchased on Ctrip, and it's flexible enough to change dishes. After two days of eating, everything was delicious. We arrived a few minutes late for breakfast, and the waiter left the hot porridge pot and brought out some boiled eggs. It was unimaginable to go to Jiuzhaigou without breakfast in such a cold weather. The room has air conditioning and an electric blanket. The shower room has a lot of hot water. It comes with a large bottle of Longrich. The domestic product is really good. Disadvantages: All public areas basically have no air conditioning and are extremely cold, which is hard to accept. There is only one room card, and the air conditioner must be restarted every time you return, so it is difficult to bring the room temperature up. Also, breakfast ends at nine o'clock, which is really too early and misses the fact that there is no convenient place to eat around. The conclusion is that if you just want a warm bed, delicious meals, and a comfortable hot bath at night, this hotel is a good choice. If you still need a comfortable environment and friendly service, you need to make other plans. ”State Guesthouse” is a bit of an exaggeration.

Because the bus was caught early in the morning, the boss took the initiative to drive us to the bus station (basic here) No Didi Taxi! Black cars and rentals are basically in the state of slaughtering people in the 80s, 2km cost you 20-30 normal. 5km cost you 50 yuan is sparse and usual! I met such a welcoming and good hotel in a tourist city , Really moving!

Facilities 💯: The room is quite large. Our family of four booked a family room. My parents-in-law lived in the inner room, and my husband and I lived in the outer room. There is a bathroom and good privacy. There is free breakfast, one for each person. The B&B has its own Tibetan restaurant, and the yak hotpot is super delicious! The hand-caught mutton is super delicious! Highly recommended! What still needs to be improved is that the hot water is not hot enough. Maybe the water in Jiuzhai itself is relatively cold. Too many people use it, resulting in a small water flow and a low water temperature.

The hotel grounds are very clean and reflects appreciation and respect for Tibetan culture. Our Mandarin language is limited and the boss took the time to use a translator for all communication. The simple breakfast is filling and the yak hotpot dinner is delicious. The boss offered us tea throughout our stay and was happy to talk to us at any time. The hotel is very close to the park entrance and they drove us to the entrance. When our flight was cancelled, the boss offered to take us to a nearby village as an activity. We are so happy we had the opportunity to stay at the hotel and have such a memorable experience!
