Very quiet and comfortable old building very close to the castle and handy for central town. Excellent breakfast included in the price. As far as I could tell, nobody spoke much English, but that didn't really matter - very few people round here do, but one manages to get by.

Overall really good. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were large and comfortable. The staff were nice and tried I help when they could .
Breakfast was nice. Lots of variety and lots of fruit. We are in the garden which was very very pretty.
I would stay again.

It is a beautiful hotel. I loved my room. It is clean and spacious. Everyone works at the hotel is very nice and professional. It is located quiet area, but walking distance to Kars castle, cafe, shops and restaurants.

Beautiful building in a perfect and quiet location. Wide rooms, warm and super clean.
Staff was OK, not the most friendly neither rude. Just ok.

I have no words to describe my stay at this place. First its an heirloom, so beautiful dating from the russian era. The basalt stone facade is enchanting. So is the beautiful wood inner decoration. Now the people are sweet and effective, like nowhere else. Rooms are spotless large beautiful. Breakfast is super high quality. The garden is lovely and they will let you stay there for ages! serve you great turkish coffee for free! I think that we stayed an extra day in Kars just for the sake of the hotel... This is a reason for travelling to this part of the world . They arranged our trip to Ani and to Dogubeyazit masterfully. Thank you so much to the people and the reception desk, we litterally cried when we left ( C&F) PS: we were an unmarried couple, they said nothing at all... I do not really understand other reviews, same for cleanliness. I have seen so so places and this is not one them. This is a luxury hotel!
