Hotel Copernicus

Krakow|1.15km from Kraków Eye
A review based only on a Spa experience. After a previous visit to Hotel Copernicus last year, we decided to return for a Spa day. The hotel is expertly renovated and stunning inside, boasting a modern interior whilst maintaining the charm of the historical building. The lobby is extremely charming. The hotel itself has 29 rooms and is in high demand, and it’s obviously to see why. The location is perfect with the castle just a minutes walk away. The main square is also easily accessible, about 5-8 minutes walk down the Main Street which is bustling with shops, attractions, and museums. Now, about the spa. This is located in the cellar of the hotel and is once again, finished to an extremely high standard. The cellars are accessible via both stairs and an elevator. The spa is not large by any means, and the low vaulted ceilings provide a very cosy and intimate environment. Your first view is a crystal clear-blue pool, which reflects the light across the ceiling and walls creating a mesmerising dance of the light. To the right is a small check-in desk and immediately behind this is a quaint changing area furnished with lockers, a sink area, and shower. The spa is affiliated with L’Occitane and so all the products are branded as such. As expected, these products are top-shelf and smell incredible. In the lockers, bath robes and slippers are provided, and towels are liberally placed around the spa for your convenience. As a male with size 11 feet, I stood no chance squeezing my spade-like feet into the dainty slippers. I asked for a bigger pair and was provided with an identical, one-size-fits-most pair. Needless to say, I was also unable to wear these but I am used to this so bought my own sliders for the occasion. Next, into the relaxation chamber. Two large reclining beds are located here, on the floor. Very comfy and relaxing environment. Many candles (electric imitations) are present and the atmosphere was so calm I lay down and had the most amazing Power Nap. Free water (bottled) is provided. There is also another shower with an assortment of yet more L’Occitane products. A small sauna in the corner was set to 99° Celsius - and certainly felt it. I managed to endure 10 minutes, but would struggle to stay longer due to the heat. The pool itself is relatively small, but the atmosphere is unparalleled. And due to the need to book a treatment to access the spa, was deserted. The pool itself is amazing, and although heated, is at body temperature. The real star of the show was the treatments. My partner and I both booked facial treatments. 60 minutes for approximately £70. Not exactly cheap by Kraków standards, but this was by far the most amazing experience. The smell of lavender and other essential oils was incredible. The masseur was equally brilliant and I left feeling the most relaxed and stress-free I have been in years. If you are looking to pamper yourself - there is simply nothing else available to this level in the c

New Port Hotel

The room was very cosy & comfortable. The bed was amazing. Some really nice little touches....complimentary earbuds, cotton pads, emery board, toothbrushes & toothpaste etc in bathroom. Toiletries were pleasant. Tea/ coffee in room. mini bar reasonably priced. Staff very pleasant. Very nice coffee & hot choc available in reception, even though we had to walk quite a ways from our room to get. We were able to easily access Netflix via Chromecast on the TV....another nice touch. Breakfast was included at the Hala forum,a short walk...& we were very impressed with the food court. The only negative is the stairs up to the bed platform were a little tricky but wouldn't put me off booking here again, We will definitely be back.😁
Hilton Garden Inn Krakow

I stayed here for 2 nights in August with my husband. I arrived early at about 2pm and was treated by a nice receptionist. She offered a view room or a quiet room facing neighbourhood. Check in was Swift. Explained where breakfast is, times of it and also restaurant/bar. We was let into our room even though check in wasn’t for another hour! The hotel is extremely clean, the room is brilliant size and very clean also! Bed was very comfortable, could barely hear any road traffic even though we had a view room. Breakfast was lovely! We did go round 7.30am both days and was plenty of food, so many different options and chefs always checking to see what needs topping up. Could make your own waffles and was also a chef making fresh omelettes. Hotel is situated about a 5/10 minute was from Wawel Castle, it’s across the road from Krakow Eye, and only about a 20 minute walking from Old Town. We thought it was in a very reasonable area and not too far away. We walked to old town the 3 days we were there. Uber is very cheap if you don’t want to walk though. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. Only negative I have is that our room was opposite what a believe was the cleaning cupboard so early in the morning about 6am there was constant banging from the door/getting cleaning trolleys out.

Lovely hotel in the perfect location for our needs. Clean, modern room with a spacious bathroom. Situated by the Vistula River which provides ideal walking opportunities. The main bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and a local supermarket is slightly over 5 minutes away. Will happily stay here again when we next visit Krakow.

We just returned from this fantastic holiday in Cracovia. The apartment chosen, moreover on the advice of my daughter, exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious, finally furnished, unfair cleaning, excellent location, From there, walking and using the means of reaching every place of the city. The staff of the reception were very kind, they assisted us in choosing transport from the airport to the apartment and in choosing the exit to Auschwitz, They were always ready to answer every question we asked, that is super recommended

The breakfast was very, very rich and the bed and pillows were a bit too soft. The sanitation is very clean.” There is also a gym and sauna in the hotel. It is very good. Unfortunately, there is nothing to eat around. It takes 15 minutes to cross the bridge to eat in another place. Overall it is still very good. I will stay here next time.

Very nice very clean very comfy hotel The price was very good, room maintained everyday fresh sheets fresh towels Very big rooms very happy with my stay here Only thing I would suggest is asking for a room which doesn’t face the road side, there’s a crossing with a little ticking noise that you can hear from very early morning
