i had a great experience during my stay there. The rooms are very classy with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. The food served there is very delicious.

It’s just a stay without breakfast. So I couldn’t explain much. I love the location as it’s at the centre of KT. The room is clean. The pool is nice. Just a bit disappointed with the limited parking lots. Overall it’s a good stay.

The hotel is very new! It’s a very good hotel in Terengganu! There is a coffee shop and a newly opened Thai restaurant across from the hotel downstairs. There is a Chinese restaurant on the right when you go out.

My partner had chosen Ming Paragon as our home for 3 nights in Kuala Terengganu as it was centrally located & close to many places of interest. It proved to be a good decision as much research had taken place prior to our holiday. Our flight had arrived in mid-morning. But since check-in was at 2:00 pm, we had brunch first & visited 2 places of interest to kill time. We arrived at the hotel just before 2:00 pm & parked the car in front of Ming Paragon as we were not aware that the hotel’s parking was behind the building. We had also used a parking app to pay for the street parking. Check-in was fast & hassle-free. There was no porter or concierge service as this is a 3-star hotel. We carried our luggage ourselves. Our room was on the 1st floor. It was smaller than I expected. However, it was decent & clean. The mattress was not as comfortable but the strategic location more than made up for it. The air-conditioning was good & at least there was floor space for us to pray. The bathroom was a good size. The water pressure was equally good. Best of all, it was equipped with a hand-bidet. That was a pleasant surprise as it was a Chinese hotel to begin with & I half expected it not to have one. The shower gel, shampoo & conditioner smelled good too. A hair-dryer was also available. WiFi was available & complimentary. However, the TV reception wasn’t good. There was much interference. Since we were mostly outdoors, it didn’t bother us so much. Although there was no refrigerator, there was a coffee & tea-making facility. A central fridge was available in the lobby. Hence, we had left our food in their chiller. We had parked at the hotel’s designated parking in the evening. A security guard watches over our car free of charge as it was complimentary for hotel guests. We will definitely stay again whenever we are in Terengganu as Ming Paragon Hotel had met our expectations.

Hi! Actually, I booked a wrong type of room! Luckily, the male staff and the manager are so nice to transfer me and my family to the new room which supposedly the one that I wanted. Their excellent services & kindness make me want to repeat my stay there! Definitely will choose Suite room as the suite is new renovated. Well done Seri Malaysia. Location: Near to Drawbridge, Pasar Payang & food trucks. Parking: If you come during school holiday, you might have to park the car in the provided area(free) across the hotel.

With no presence of 5 star hotels in Kuala Terengganu, I had to find the best alternative. I was lucky to find Valya Hotel, situated in an area called Gong Badak. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect hotel, I think your search should end with this hotel. Look, I am someone who values good quality and top rated hotels for a comfortable stay. This hotel has many of the things I was looking for: - Free WiFi - Elevator - Close to shops, eateries, convenience stores (e.g. Jakel, Mydin, Watsons, 7-11, pharmacy etc) - Close to airport (less than 10 minutes) - Basic bath amenities and in-room slippers provided (towels, toothbrush are available) - Strong rain shower pressure, proper bidet These factors would suffice to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. The price point is extremely affordable. I booked a Superior Triple room with window. Although there is no ”view” from the window, you can still have some light shining through, for a less claustrophobic environment. Other things that were missing, but acceptable at the price you are paying: - No breakfast - No in-room safe - No dedicated parking space for hotel guests (more on this below) - No view from window (as mentioned) My main gripe will be parking, as mentioned by other guests who reviewed this property as well. As there are many shophouses, you should expect a chaotic and congested area full of vehicles during the day. Parking is chargeable at RM0.60 per hour, and you can pay for parking at the various stations around the parking lot, with some not functioning at all. It is a challenge to find space close to the hotel, and you will end up having to move your car closer to your hotel when the congestion clears up in the evening. Another plus staying here will be a self service laundromat on the other side of the row of shophouses. Overall, Valya Hotel is a perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in Terengganu. You can reach the city centre in mere minutes, and the airport is within close proximity. Highly recommended!

Looking through the reviews here, there are no recent ones. Things have deteriorated much since I first stayed here in 2019. Back then, service was friendly, room was nice and clean, aircon was functioning like it should. Perhaps blame it on covid restrictions past 2 years. Blame it on low cash flow to do maintenance. Blame it on lack of motivated staff. Truth is, this hotel’s standard has gone down. Broken, poor maintained room, unmotivated & deary staff working, moldy & poorly cleaned bathroom.. I can go on but you can probably get the picture. Pity, it was great back in 2019 but I won’t be returning.

The hotel in transit at the airport is due to different religions. There is no way to be on call in our non-religious concept. Ordering food in restaurants also needs to be done after the ceremony is done. The food is delicious and not expensive. . The whole country has this kind of biological clock, the sanitation and conditions are average, just use the guest house next to the ordinary airport, the people are quite polite, and the English of the people in this country is also quite poor, it takes a while to communicate, and the airport will get off work in the evening, so it will not affect Sleep, you can witness the takeoff at 8 in the morning, and the boss drove us to the terminal, is it okay?

location of the hotel is outside the city center. Difficult for those who don’t have a car. However, it is easy to get a grab. Just wait for 5 minutes to get a grab. The breakfast is super good. Stayed there for 3 days, and the main dishes is changers every day. Nice and cosy place. During the stay, need to check in at the temporary office because under construction. The room is big but need to improve the condition of the room. Overall, if you intend for relaxing, this is the place.
