Location is very good and staff is very nice. She also call to check if she can make a reservation for us at the famous Tonkatsu Restaurant. The room is new and so clean. They also offer the breakfast for free. The a**osphere around hotel is great too.

I enjoyed my staying and they have good breakfast. Staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Location is also very good and just next to shopping area. Very recommended!

I am satisfied with my stay. The room was in a good condition but as others have mentioned, you can’t open the window.  The breakfast included is acceptable given the price of the hotel.

This is the second hotel I stayed in Kumamoto this time. As a Japanese express hotel, the conditions are much better than I expected. The room is big enough for one person. The hotel is very close to Shimodori Commercial Street. Katretei is just across a small street. It is also very close to Kumamoto Castle. It rained on the day I stayed. The hotel has free umbrellas for guests to borrow. The breakfast is on the same floor as the front desk, and the variety is sufficient. I like its soybean paste soup the most. The dining environment is good, and there are books to read. The front desk staff are very friendly. Next time I go to Kumamoto, I will choose this hotel again.
