Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico

This is one of the most beautiful resorts i have ever stayed at. We stayed in their cliff side suite and it was incredible. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful and friendly. It is a new resort and they are still working out the kinks, but i think the staffs willingness to take care of you and make sure your happy makes up for any hiccups you might encounter as they are learning how to be a 5 star resort. The golf course is beautiful and challenging with some amazing views. We started calling the drink cart guy Mr Jeeves, because every time we would start talking about how we are getting thirsty, he would magically appear. Traveling to and from the resort is a journey, but well worth it when you get there.

The entire experience was top notch! All of the food was amazing, even the simplest food like the hamburger (it was one of the best I've had) The hotel rooms were spotless and incredible. Golf course was immaculate and stunning. The staff was so attentive, friendly and professional. I can't say enough about this resort. If you're wondering if it is worth the travel, let me assure you that YES IT IS! Don't hesitate to go here, you will NOT regret it!

Really great newer Four Seasons in a less developed area in Mexico. Similar to Four Seasons in Costa Rica, hillside beautiful resort, 2 beaches, several gorgeous pools, many rooms are up on the hillsides nice walk down easy to get golf carts to go up/down all the time. Plunge pool suites up the hill are fantastic great views (took a few requests to have them heat the pool warmer but was worth it). Food was superb everywhere, even taco bar is elevated and 'foodie,' amazing breakfast buffet so so good, one of the best of Four Seasons/5 star resorts buffets and we've been to many. Good idea to reserve for dinner as they can get slammed as everyone wants to sit down for sunset and can be a little slow service then but still lovely. Service and friendliness was superb, as you would expect from Four Seasons Room service could be slow, but not end of the world Chat concierge on phone/ipad very useful and responsive Spa is stunning, elegant, natural materials, serene, new and fresh, very high quality treatments. Beach with rooms on it is the not beach with lounge chairs/bar service (which is nice) beach sand a bit course - beaches themselves not quite as nice as beach at Costa Rica Four Seasons. Several pools beautiful pools family/adult. No problem getting chaise. Tamarindo is very remote, 50 min from Manzanillo airport. No towns to speak of to explore. Resort is hundreds of acres, many paths. Very dry in March, not lush. Excellent stay. Not too crowded even in Spring Break perhaps because not a lot of direct flights to Manzanillo and this resort hasn't been discovered as much yet. Tips included everywhere, don't have to add when sign etc.

Loved this resort! We spent a long day traveling from New York but it was worth it to be in such natural beauty. Design is impeccable down to every last detail. Views are breathtaking. Service is kind and attentive. Loved Nacho and Sol restaurants. If I could suggest anything I would add a hotel store to buy toiletries and more sunscreen. Otherwise, fabulous!

We went for my son's wedding and Maria and her team did an amazing job. The wedding was beyond anything we expected, and the night was so magical. In Denmark we call it Hygge and it was that plus. Thank you everyone at the resort for making us feel so welcome .

Our transportation from the Puerta Vallarta airport was so easy. I was initially worried about having to take a charter but that proved to be one of favorite parts of our trip. We landed in the jungle on a dirt landing ***** and the flight was calm and beautiful and the crew were professional and caring. The ride to the resort from there was very pretty, as well. Our stay was absolutely perfect. The rooms are large and have amazing views. I have never met a kinder more attentive staff in all of our travels and we felt very safe and taken care of the entire trip. You will not regret a stay at Four Seasons Tamarindo.

Four seasons Tamarindo es un paraíso terrenal, tener una experiencia Four Seasons en ese escenario es algo maravilloso. Las playas que están en la propiedad son únicas, las vistas incomparables y la naturaleza ni que decir. Creo que hay algunos puntos que mejorar como hotel relativamente nuevo, pero en grandes rasgos todo muy bien.

Tamarindo is located in a beautiful, almost magical, setting and the hotel was truly five stars across the board. Great food and professional, attentive service! The staff made us feel at home and was always helpful! My wife and I are already discussing a return trip with our entire family.
