Very easy to book, fair prices and always very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a good spot, not a far drive from Lakeland shopping centers, dine in restaurants and fast food alike. Hotel is very well maintained and has options for breakfast and dinner on site.

Me and my wife checked in on March 11th through the 16th. Our original stay would be shorter because the hotel was originally sold out. The Night Auditor Kathy went above and beyond to watch for cancellations for us so we didn't have to switch hotels, especially with a newborn. Despite a few issues, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met. The pool and hot tub were amazing, although it appears the hot tub needs some maintenance! Johnathan is amazing with maintenance. We spoke to him by the pool, and he was able to reach out to Management about the issues, and those issues were remedied! Shoutouts also go to Donna! We had mentioned the bedding being extremely comfortable, and she had given us a bed set :) The breakfast was amazing as well :)

I did a negative review 2 days ago. Today I need to correct it. The staff at hotel became very helpful and nice. I mentioned some pretty flowers on the counter and the next thing I know I was greeted at my door with a huge bouquet of flowers from Jonathan!! The hospitality was way better than our beginning experience! Thanks

I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again. I’m a long time Hilton traveler and usually stay at Hampton Inn and Suites. Only this time after having to move our trip with reservations at the Hampton Inn and suites this was the only Hilton property available. It does not include breakfast, which is disappointing, and it is only served until 9 AM during the week. The breakfast that you pay for is less than appealing the coffee itself was colored water. I asked for some fresh coffee and it was the same again. The couple I was with purchased breakfast and their coffee was perfect . I asked for a local map of the area and I was given a local map of the homeless shelters nearby. She said this is the only map that they have. This was only our first day. I hope the rest of the week gets better.

Very clean hotel for a short overnight stay 15 minutes from the Strawberry Festival and away from the crowds. I would have given 4 stars because the breakfast service was very slow because of a staffing hiccup that I fully understand happens. But because of the help from front desk agent Brandon, who has great multitasking skills he saved the day! He did a great job checking out patrons at the front desk and then serving orange juice and refilling coffee and helping the kitchen to save the day. Very impressive customer service! Also kudos to front desk agent Donna for her professionalism and help with my reservation. Greatly professionalism!

What hotel restaurant runs out of eggs at 8:30 am? Seriously! First, the hotel and our room were clean, if a bit worn. The staff, for the most part, were accommodating (unlike some other reviews). But the food service was clueless. Morning and evening cooks need training in how to manage a restaurant and what simple things can be done to enhance food. At dinner, the “mushroom cream” soup was basically warm water; the Caesar salad was a lot of shaved iceberg lettuce with a few croutons. At breakfast, the supposedly buffet food (eggs, grits, sausages) was uncovered, crusty, and cold. The gravy for biscuits was just sitting out in the kitchen on a counter, and when we asked for gravy (not seeing it right away) the cook looked around, found it, stuck a thermometer in and said, “Oh wait,” and put it in the microwave. How long had it been sitting off heat incubating germs? Then when we said we’d rather order, the server came over to tell us that there were no more eggs. What hotel restaurant runs out of eggs at 8:30 am? Isn’t the “chef” supposed to manage food according to what’s going on, working closely with the hotel manager? We choose Garden Inns because after driving we often do not feel like going out, and we’ve always had good meals. Not this one!

Business travel brings me to the area frequently, so I called ahead to corporate reservations to work out early check-ins and reservations for 6 weeks of stays. The lady on the reservation line for Hilton stated that she called and spoke to the manager, who approved a noon check-in, so I made numerous dates of reservations. This stay, i went to the desk around 1130ish and was told my check-in was not guaranteed, but dependant on availability. I had been sitting in my car in the parking lot since 9am, in a completely empty parking lot. It is impossible for me to believe that rooms had vacated by 9 (when the lot became empty), yet they could not accomodate my previously arranged early arrival. The manager stated he would call me as soon as my room was available, yet I watched as two other check-ins happened prior to my check-in at 145pm. Finally I checked in, got to my room and was going to shower. All bathroom supplied shampoo/ conditioner were empty, took over an hour for replacement. Then in the morning when I awoke, there were ants all over the bedside table. As a diamond member, I have never had such terrible experience overall, Yet I cancelled all remaining reservations for the next six weeks.

The worst Sales Director and Assistant Jessica White and Dawn very rude, talks over you, screams at you in conversation, calls you a liar to myself and 2 guests who they overcharged. Held our event there for 11 yrs never in that time had we had any issues with the Sales team or upper management. They had no food in the Hanger Bar Lounge area 11 items were scratch off their limited menu do to no food available, 1 lady working the bar, taking orders, serving, cleaning up the area, taking the money for payments. Guests who sat together in small groups of 5 or 6 people their food came out in stages 2 people got their food, others waiting and 20 minutes later another item came out and the rest of the table waited for their food to come out. The bathrooms weren't being cleaned properly and maintained. Garbage cans overflowing. Never swept the areas that was used for classes. My member went and got a broom and shovel and swept the floors. Our president set up all the rental tables with Dawn and was on her hands and feet lying extension cords down and taping it. Their Housekeeping was low staffed they said 3 people didn't show up. They overed 2 guests who shared a room when both presented their own credit cards and informed the front desk for the 3 night stay was to be split in half. They charged 1 guest the full amount and the other half the amount. After checkout and she returned home she got notification that they charged her a $200.00 pet fee for having a cat in their room. THEY NEVER HAD ANY KIND OF ANIMAL DOG OR CAT when they checked in. They made numerous calls to the hotel to question this charge and ask for help in issuing a credit no one would return their calls. I received a call from both ladies telling me of these issues and ask me to help them and get involved. I did call the hotel and left messages too with no responses from the GM Roxanne or Jessica White. On one of my calls I requested the email to Roxanne to contact her while waiting for the information Jessica White came on the phone and was screaming at me in the loudest voice to stop calling and harassing her employees and said it wasn't any of my business. I replied back to her let me tell you it is my business since I'm in charge of this event and these ladies have attended them for over 10 yrs I was more than happy to true to help them. It's been over 3 weeks still no credits issued we advised her to contact her bank and dispute the charges. She told them over and over again they had no cat with them or in their room. I told them I had over 35 ladies who will testify that they had no animals with them. Again Jessica White called her a liar and me again for the last time. The owner Tom Ardnt needs to be aware of this management team who is running his hotel into the ground and the way they act and talk to their clients and guests is unacceptable. They stated they would never go back to the Hilton Garden Inn in Lakeland again. They said our Lakeland Miniat

Great place to stay. Large room, comfy bed, frig with freezer, microwave. Soft, fluffy towels. Didn’t have my dog with me this trip, but did on the previous trip. They have a dog potty area with a bag dispenser. Breakfast buffet was nice, but cost $12.95. Food was good when I ate dinner there. Nice selection of snacks and beverages available 24/7. Also have a pool and fitness center and washer and dryer.
