Hotels near Bowring Park, St. John's

"Great stay. "

"a lovely place to stay in st. johns for a few days. ample free parking but you need to walk a number of steps to access the lobby or your room. the rooms are large and clean. we took the signal hill room and it was conveniently located near the entrance. security is good as you require pin numbers to open the doors. comes with breakfast and the food was fantastic. each day a different menu. the service was impeccable. would definitely recommend. thank you. p.s. no shops in the vicinity of the hotel so a car is essential."

"The room was spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I requested extra towels at the front desk and they were super quick with delivering them to my room. It was great having Denny’s and Moxies in the hotel. Very convenient and the staff at both restaurants were amazing. The only downside to this hotel was the pool/hot tub area. It’s extremely tiny, there’s no where to sit or place your things as it’s literally a room with a small pool and hot tub side by side and maybe 3ft of walkway around them. It’s kind of alarming when you walk in because you’re greeted with a face full of steam and you’re right on top of the hot tub. The smell of Chlorine is so strong that it starts to burn your eyes. The area isn’t monitored much either so if you decide to use it, bring a towel as the rack will most likely be empty. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed it. However, next time I’m looking for a hotel in St. John’s I’ll spend the little extra to stay at a hotel with a better pool area. I’m usually traveling with little guys so amenities are key for us. This place is great for anyone who doesn’t care to use a pool."

"So now it's becoming common practice to clean the rooms every second day? Not too long ago that was optional. So what happens when you only get two cups of coffee for your 3-day rental? I get frustrated that I have to participate more in a business to help them run and accept less service. Sorry that I'm venting but I just don't feel it's adequate. This is a Marriott Hotel, once upon a time that was something I felt was prestigious. I would recommend booking your Marriott on your bon voy account."

"The house is beautiful. Looking out the window is the harbor, and the sunset is hanging down at the end of the sky. This time I came to see a friend. He gave me a day or two to go to the far east of North America."

"The overall experience was excellent minus an intoxic guest being noisy In the hallway from 1:45-2:30 am waking myself and daughter up. We were too nervous to do anything about it as we didn’t know what he was capable of doing."

"I really enjoyed the hotel! My room was very clean and spacious with top of the line amenities. Will definitely book again. The restaurant was ok, food was good. Service was not great for the level of dining, no quality checking on food items and empty glass wear was left on the tables until end of meal. Will definitely book a room again just may choose to dine elsewhere."

"Hotel location is very good, the facilities are modern, the room is not too big, clean, the front desk is particularly warm, there is no Uber in the local area, all rely on the front desk to help call the rental."

"Beautiful view.all facilities are clean especially the restaurant area the server was indeed a good employee.he was so approachable and could handle lots of guests very well. The front office person as well is accommodating and friendly"

"Reasonably priced ; the room I had was small but sufficient. it was clean but the bath drain was partially blocked. The hotel is older and not handicap suitable; 16 small stairs to my room, and in order to get ice, I had to use those stairs to get to the the office. Comfortable bed. The restaurant is separate. One has to got outside to get something to eat. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly"
