Hotels near Cabot Tower, St. John's

"The house is beautiful. Looking out the window is the harbor, and the sunset is hanging down at the end of the sky. This time I came to see a friend. He gave me a day or two to go to the far east of North America."

"Great stay. "

"Although the hotel is a bit old, it is very clean and has relatively complete facilities. It is considered a large hotel in the local area. We chose a sea view room, which is good and has a high cost performance"

"I really enjoyed the hotel! My room was very clean and spacious with top of the line amenities. Will definitely book again. The restaurant was ok, food was good. Service was not great for the level of dining, no quality checking on food items and empty glass wear was left on the tables until end of meal. Will definitely book a room again just may choose to dine elsewhere."

"Hotel location is very good, the facilities are modern, the room is not too big, clean, the front desk is particularly warm, there is no Uber in the local area, all rely on the front desk to help call the rental."

"The overall experience was excellent minus an intoxic guest being noisy In the hallway from 1:45-2:30 am waking myself and daughter up. We were too nervous to do anything about it as we didn’t know what he was capable of doing."

"Great location downtown, staff were pleasant. They gave us a room on a higher floor (before we knew that there may have been an issue) to avoid an obstruction of the harbour view. Felt comfortable and secure at this facility. There is a restaurant on site (not included). I would only suggest possible water and/or hot beverages available to guests (like most hotels) in the common / reception area. Will certainly consider this property for future trips to this area."

"The hotel is beautiful. Amazing room and no hassle with check-in and check-out. The room I initially had was on a lower floor and unfortunately I could hear the person above me walking and that was disturbing. The hotel wasted no minutes to move me to an upper room when I reached out to them, so 10/10. The bath, room and bedding were amazing. Few issues: 1)There is not enough lighting in the room, and at night, it’s difficult if you need to do something and require lights. There are only nightstands, no main light. The windows are small. See picture. 2) For the price I paid, I was expecting a decent breakfast. The breakfast provided was insulting. Cold croissants, chocolate blueberry and lemon muffins, instant oat, hot water, coffee and juice, banana, apple. For the price you pay per night, you will at least expect some hot food. Even one to two-stars motels in Canada provide toast, butter, and eggs. There was not even toast, or milk! You need to use numerous small milk pods to make your oats or coffee, which is a plastic waste. That was disappointing and I understand the hotel wants to save expenses and be more profitable, but I guess it’s business. 3) There is no gym, not even a treadmill. 4) The escalator does not go to the fourth floor, but no big deal. In saying so, the hotel is located in downtown, where all food places and bars are, so location wise it’s a win. If you do not have to stay in downtown, and want a hotel with amenities, there are better options in St John’s. One recommendation would be I H G ones."

"Beautiful view.all facilities are clean especially the restaurant area the server was indeed a good employee.he was so approachable and could handle lots of guests very well. The front office person as well is accommodating and friendly"
