It lacks hotel amenities, for example, a hairdryer. Extremely hard bed. Double rooms but with separate beds in two rooms. Windows that offer very little insulation from street noise, and it's a main street with a lot of traffic."

"The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, exactly what you'd expect. I had a very comfortable stay. It's super convenient to get to the Old City from the city center, just a short walk away, and heading to Chinatown for food was also a breeze."

"Service at concierge was excellent. This lady at the breakfast, her name Mayra, should change her job. No customer care at all. She gave us attitude when we checked in to access the breakfast room. In fact we did not go back for the rest of the 3 days. Also, They missed a day to clean out room and to change our towels due to new year eve rush. Lastly, The 5-10 minutes waiting for an elevator every time it is something they need to resolve. Location is excellent but they should improve in the restorations and modernization of the floors and rooms. Wall paper coming off, in the corridors, paint peeling off in the shower. It looks very sloppy. For CAD$350 per night I would have aspected something better."

"This hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Berri-UQAM station, a major hub for sightseeing. It's a large hotel, and the reception area was often crowded. The dormitory rooms are a bit small, but the beds are sturdy and offer good privacy. Each bed has a laundry pole, two hangers, and a power outlet. Luggage can be stored under the bed; I used my own wire padlock. There's a shower and toilet in the room, but it's a single unit, so if someone is showering, the toilet is unavailable. There was no mirror at the sink. Hairdryers were available for loan, requiring an ID each time. The coin laundry is located on the first floor of an annex building, costing $4 each for washing and drying, and only accepts coins. The kitchen was spacious and seemed quite lively, likely due to many group travelers and long-term guests. There's a fairly large supermarket (Les marchés Verreault et Normandeau) about 3 minutes from the station."

"We liked the room a lot. It was very spacious. We also enjoyed the pool. Service was great. Valet uploaded our luggage and brought to the room and the same when we checked out. All of the staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast."

"Very nice helpers receptionist that could assist you in several services and most know both English and French. Parking can be a little hard when there are more cars, but is relatively easy with open areas for you to park in. Overall, the hotel was really clean with clean beds, TV service and the bathrooms are considerably large and open-spaced, making the atmosphere of the hotel room more lively. Lots of privacy in case you don’t feel too safe. The given keycards are also extremely easy to tap on the scanner. Once again, I thank the people who work there for their amazing service and hospitality!"

"Really enjoyed my time here—the location was excellent and convenient! Monarque The room was well-stocked with all the daily essentials — they even had an iron, a hair dryer, a washing machine, and a dryer, which made our stay so much more convenient. And the room was clean and big! Plus, Monarque — a very famous and delicious French restaurant — is right downstairs. Would definitely recommend!"

"We had a great stay. The staff at the desk were very friendly. They accommodated us for an early check-in, parking was very close and it was one block from the venue we were in Montréal for. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, the shower had nice pressure and we had ample towels. The restaurant had great food and beer with lime. It was everything we needed for a great stay."

"First time staying here and I'll definitely be back. Big comfortable rooms, super friendly staff and a really convenient location. The decor is a little dated but that shouldn't sway your opinion as it's in good condition and spotlessly clean. I was given my room as soon as it was available (around noon), which was appreciated after arriving on a red eye flight."

"The room is OK, but you have to wait for breakfast to be ordered, which is not very friendly to us Chinese and those who are in a hurry. It is a cultural problem, not the hotel's problem. The breakfast is not tasty."
