⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a very pleasant stay at JI Hotel near Guangzhou South Railway Station. The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive throughout my stay. The location is also very convenient if you’re travelling by high-speed rail. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. What impressed me most was the service. The staff really made me feel welcomed and taken care of. Definitely a 5-star experience, and I would happily stay here again!

Had a very pleasant stay at Yizhi Hotel, Taikoo Li Zhujiang New Town. We arrived in the wee hours and the check-in was smooth and hassle-free, which was a big plus after long journey. The room and toilet were clean, tidy and, most importantly, no unpleasant smell. They provide the necessary disposable toiletries too. The bathroom layout was also very practical — the shower and toilet are in two separate areas. The shower has really good water pressure, and the toilet flushing system is strong too. A special mention to 晴晴 (Qing Qing), who was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we had an issue with the Wi-Fi in the room, she followed up with us via WeChat and even arranged for a technician to come and check it. The location is excellent! Shipaiqiao Metro Station is literally next to the hotel, making it super convenient to get around Guangzhou. There are also big shopping malls nearby (left,right and opposite side), so shopping and dining are just a short walk away. Another big plus is the row of eateries and cafés just behind the hotel, including McDonald’s — very handy if you have children or suddenly feel hungry late at night. There are also plenty of food choices along the side of the hotel, so definitely won’t go hungry. And one feature I really appreciated — the laundry room! There are clean washing machines and dryers, plus a standing ironing board. The room and machines are well maintained as the staff have a regular schedule to keep the area clean. Best of all, the laundry facilities are FREE for in-house guests! 🙌🏻 Definitely a bonus, especially for longer stays. Another fun and useful touch is the delivery robot! If you order food or have a small delivery, the robot can bring it up to your room, so you don’t have to go down to the lobby to collect it. Very convenient, especially when you’re tired or already in your pyjamas! The only minus point: the lift can take a little longer to arrive, especially during busy periods. So just be prepared to wait a little. Overall, a very comfortable, clean and convenient stay with friendly service and lots of thoughtful facilities.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially Xiaofang, who provided outstanding service. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and its location was perfect for exploring Guangzhou, with easy access to shopping areas and tourist attractions. My stay at City Note in Guangzhou was a fantastic experience overall! The hotel environment was comfortable, the room was clean and tidy, and the location was very convenient. I especially want to praise the young staff here; every single one was polite and great at conversation, with a kind and natural service attitude. During my stay, they not only helped solve problems but also proactively cared about how we were feeling. Our chats were very relaxing and they genuinely provided a lot of emotional support. 🥰 The entire check-in process felt very comfortable and warm. It wasn't the typical formulaic service, but rather one that truly made guests feel cared for. I was very satisfied with this experience, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Guangzhou. Highly recommended! ❤️

We arrived at City Note on 3rd October 2026. As you can imagine the Golden week for the Chinese. The hotel was fully booked. We waited an hour for our room that was being made. We were offered snacks coffee and cold drinks. Made to feel very welcomed. The staff told us that there was maintenance happening on the 37th-39th floors between 9:30am through to 7 pm. This didn't bother us as we are usually out as travellers do. The staff especially Amy was very attentive and helpful always smiling. Whilling to support in whichever way she could. As none Chinese speakers the staff used translation apps to meet our communication needs. The Beijing pedestrian street view from our room was awesome. Gongyuanqing & Sun Yat Sen Memorial stations are the nearest to the Citynote we stayed at. It's a 10-15 minute walk to Beijing pedestrian street. Location wise great. If your a Muslim traveller there are several Muslim Chinese restaurants 15-20 minute walks from the hotel. Or catch a Didi to Xiaobei or take the metro & there is plenty of Muslim restaurants in the area. The hotel offers eggs croissant toast and fruit if you only eat Halal 清真食品. More & more Muslim traveller like China as it's still has family values and a conservative way. I would highly recommend city note pedestrian street guangzhou

The Executive Lounge at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou is excellent. Aside from one staff member who seemed a bit stern, the other service personnel were all incredibly warm and polite, making us feel right at home. The food inside was also fantastic. Although the cocktails were a bit subpar, the overall experience was still very positive, earning high praise from both myself and my boss. The public area's pool and Jacuzzi experience were also great, and the sauna and warm pool in the changing rooms were equally impressive. The room itself was also quite good.

The location is superb, just over 100 meters from Nanzhou subway station, making it very convenient to get to Pazhou Exhibition Center. The room was cleaned thoroughly, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, which is very practical for business travelers. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and the prices are reasonable, making it very suitable for business trips.

Pros: _ Location: very good location, right next to Gongyuandian metro. You can use this to access almost anywhere in Guangzhou. _ Cleanliness: the apartment is fairly newly renovated with 2 bedroom & 1 bath, well maintained, so it's quite suitable for big group. _ Pricing: we got it at a very good price for a group of 3 adults & 2 children. I think it's worth every penny. _ Convenience: lift is right up to the apartment, so children can travel without any problem. _ Friendliness: the reception is very welcome and helpful. They let us check out late with small charge. Cons: _ The building exterior is quite old. The lift is also not clean. _ The entrance is a bit difficult to find. You need to walk to the entrance behind the building to access to floor 18, where the reception is located. If you go to any other lift, they only take you to floor 17, then you have to walk up 1 floor. Overall if you are a big group who is looking to find a reasonable stay in Guangzhou, I highly recommend this place. You get what you pay for.

I stayed at the Mehao Lizhi Hotel during my trip and had a great experience. The location is excellent, making it convenient for dining out and catching a taxi. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness was impressive – the desk and bathroom were spotless, with no noticeable dust or stains. The bedding was a major highlight; I slept very soundly. Elena at the front desk provided genuine service, and when I had an issue, the front desk responded promptly. The hotel's amenities are a thoughtful touch; perks like afternoon tea and late-night noodles were a huge bonus. It was very relaxing to come back and unwind after a long day of traveling. Overall, there were no disappointments. It's suitable for both leisure travel and short stays, definitely a hotel I'd be willing to return to.

This hotel is a great choice for an overnight layover; the airport shuttle service made it super convenient. The room was well-equipped, hot water came on quickly, the internet was fast, and everything was spotlessly clean. The front desk was responsive, and parking was easy. Staying here takes the stress out of catching an early flight.
