"This was the best hotel we booked for our trip! You can tell it's meticulously cared for by the owner and staff. The hotel is located on Sanyue Street, and the rooms are very spacious with views of the ancient city and Erhai Lake. The rooftop offers stargazing, and there are flowers all over the garden. All the facilities in the room were clean, the TV picture and sound quality were great, and the service was very friendly."

"For this trip, I chose the newly opened Qi Yu Lan • Hidden Garden Private Residence (Dali Old Town Store) as my last accommodation. It's nestled among the streets and alleys of Dali Old Town, within walking distance of San Yue Street, Cangshan Gate, and Renmin Road, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area with extremely convenient access. The overall decor adopts a wabi-sabi aesthetic, with concrete walls, original wood beams and pillars, and a water garden intertwined. Low-saturation tones paired with warm lighting create a hidden luxury and tranquil atmosphere. The guest rooms are spacious, with full smart home control, a separate wet and dry bathroom, and floor-toceiling windows that let in natural light. The public areas on the first floor are well-equipped, including a tea room, gym, laundry room, and shared kitchen. The rooftop offers panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. The butler proactively helped with luggage and patiently answered travel questions, making for a very comfortable stay. It would be even more convenient if there were an elevator. Additionally, an area for improvement is that there are always雜物 (clutter) piled up in the public rest areas, which detracts from the aesthetics and tidiness. Also, there are steps at scenic spots that can cause tripping if one isn't careful; it would be appropriate to add warning signs as reminders. Overall, it was a good guesthouse experience."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the South Gate of the ancient city, surrounded by a food street. Taxis and food delivery services are easily accessible. The rooms are comfortable, and the bedding is clean and just right. I booked two rooms, and both mine and my children's were great; the bedding wasn't damp at all and felt very comfortable. The hotel's interior environment is fantastic, and they even provide free clothes for photo ops – my family was taking pictures until past 10 PM on our check-in night. The breakfast is exquisite, and the taste perfectly suited for someone from northern China like me; I'd have two bowls of rice noodles every day until I was stuffed! Finally, the staff's service attitude and enthusiasm were exceptionally good and diligent. This hotel is highly recommended."

"I brought my mom to Dali for a trip and stumbled upon this hotel, Yunye Hotel, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, not far from the ancient city, yet the environment is incredibly peaceful, like a little paradise with lush greenery all around. My mom couldn't stop raving about the room and the service – the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive. She loved the rice noodles for breakfast and the afternoon tea, and there was even a sweet soup offered at night. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be back next time and I've already recommended it to my friends."

"First off, the hotel's location is great; it's very convenient for getting to the old town. I originally thought it was *inside* the old town, but it's actually just outside, which turned out to be really nice because it's so quiet. The front desk staff were excellent and very enthusiastic. The facilities are also quite new; I noticed it's been open for almost two years, so it's still relatively fresh. Not bad! I didn't have time for breakfast, but the front desk offered to send it up for free – though I genuinely just couldn't manage to wake up for it, haha. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Trust me on this: you *have* to close the windows. Even if you don't, it's still okay, but the soundproofing at this place is incredible. All in all, it's really good. I'll definitely come back next time!"

"The room was spotless and very comfortable. It had a sleek, modern design, exactly my style. Smart controls added to the convenience. The room was also very spacious. Although it was a bit pricier than other places nearby, I found it to be absolutely worth it. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are: no power outlet under the desk, which made using a laptop a bit inconvenient, and no clothes rack in the bathroom. Opening the window revealed a mountain view, and outside the door were charming farmhouse landscapes – it was so peaceful and lovely. There were sunflowers right by the entrance. I especially want to commend the staff (both male and female) for their excellent service; calling it five-star service wouldn't be an exaggeration. They gave great travel recommendations, suggested places to eat, and offered comprehensive touring advice. Breakfast included coffee and tea, and there were even late-night snacks and bedtime desserts. I absolutely loved it. My younger sister really enjoyed playing with their dog. The large map at the entrance was fantastic – a direct guide to local attractions and activities."

"The hotel is backed by Cangshan Mountain, offering stunning views of Erhai Lake directly from the terrace. The rooms are also spacious and beautiful. We received complimentary fruit and sweet soup in the evening, which was a thoughtful touch. The butler service was excellent; they picked us up from a designated spot after we explored Dali Old Town, and their response time was very quick. On check-out day, they even provided a drop-off service, making our travel worry-free."

"This is by far the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali. It's designed with a beautiful garden aesthetic, and the air is just amazing. The whole hotel feels like a grand estate. The staff are so warm and attentive. The facilities are incredibly comprehensive: a book bar, a regular bar, a sports hall, a restaurant, and a gym (with tons of equipment, which I, as someone who works out daily, absolutely loved!). What I want to praise most about the room is the incredibly spacious shower area, with excellent wet/dry separation. I really love this room type. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, and they even have卡通餐盘 (cartoon-themed plates) – so thoughtful for families traveling with children!"
