Hotels near Cava Baja, Madrid

I had asked whether there is cooking facility there, for example stove and pots, the reply is yes, but when we are there.. It turn out no cooking facilities not even a microwave! And only two toilet for do many rooms to share. The toilet is wc cum shower room. So we have no wc to use even when we are urgent. Two toilets for around ten rooms.

It's close to the center, and the capsules offer a fun spaceship-like experience while staying. The kitchen and bar are lovely, and the air-conditioning in the room is great for the summer months. The downsides include having to press the tap every ten seconds in the showers, or the water will shut off while you're showering. They help with package deliveries, but they're not very organized and take a while to find. There are two keys provided for the room, but even without these keys, you can open the door with a password or enter the capsule, but the locker is fully secure.

The hostel is in a very good location and is also clean. I liked this hostel.

The hostel is very well organized, has a great atmosphere, they give also many tips for tourism and the pub crawl is amazing. There only improvement point is related to the breakfast where there are no options with proteins.

The accommodation is very well located, just one minute from Gran Via. Ideal for those who want to enjoy Madrid and stay in the center at a low cost. The guy who received me is polite and formal. The inhalations are super good, the bed quite comfortable and the hygiene impeccable. The only drawback is that guests do not have empathy towards others when it comes to rest.

Wifi is a bit awkward, but it’s just like that. The room is a bit small but it hasn’t lived for a long time. The location is very good, very close to the English Palace, and many restaurants downstairs.

This was a converted apartment, with private bedrooms and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. The place was impressively clean throughout our stay, with cleaners coming through each morning. You are also provided a key to lock the bedroom door so we didn't have any concerns about security. Wifi also worked fine and there was mobile reception (this must've been fixed from older reviews). Having access to a kitchen made it easy to have breakfast in and you are allocated a shelf in the communal fridge. The other guests were very respectful, which helped create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. That said, it’s worth noting this is not a party-style stay — it works best if everyone is mindful that it’s a shared environment as noise does travel through the hallway. The bedroom itself was large and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space. Location-wise, it’s slightly outside the very centre — not right in the middle of the action — but still very accessible. We were about a 20-minute walk to Plaza Mayor and ended up walking most places, and there’s also a metro station less than 5 minutes away if needed. Overall, a great option if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-connected place to stay in Madrid, especially if you don’t mind being just outside the busiest areas.

My stay was great, I was treated very well, they even asked if I wanted to leave my luggage, as check-out was at 12 pm. The cleanliness was very good, the room smelled nice, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was organized. The only downside was that there was only half a shower stall; they use a curtain and leak water just for showering, but they left a floor cloth nearby and it worked out fine. We went out and spent the day there, returning to find the room completely tidy. The hotel is super well located, close to everything, and what isn't close is near buses and the train station. In short, we loved the place!

The facilities look quite new and modern, but the check-in process at the front desk was incredibly slow; I had to wait in line for a very long time. The washing machine was also broken, and I was standing there in a tank top in the middle of winter for over ten minutes just to talk to someone at the front desk. Luckily, it was fixed later. There's no overhead light in the sleeping area of the room, but there are bedside lamps. You'll need to bring your own lock. The bed quality is excellent; it doesn't make any noise when you move around. The most disappointing thing was my room. My roommates all knew each other and were chatting and laughing loudly late into the night. It was very noisy. They should have been split into separate rooms, or I should have been placed in a room with other solo travelers. Good thing I only stayed one night because I couldn't find another room!
