"We stayed at this hotel in Beppu this time and I highly recommend it! The beds in the room were quite large; although it said 0.8m for a random room, it was actually 1.1m, which was great. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. You need a password to enter the women's onsen, but not for the men's. If there are a lot of people, you might have to wait for the private onsen. We arrived on a Sunday, so it wasn't too crowded, and the experience was fantastic! After soaking in the onsen, there are free cold drinks you can help yourself to, and at 10 PM, there are free noodles in the lobby on the first floor. This hotel seems to have a lot of Korean guests, and the front desk staff were very friendly. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance!"

"The rooftop view is truly beautiful~ It's a shame I didn't come up at night, otherwise it would have been absolutely stunning. The room was comfortable and spacious. The best part is the excellent soundproofing! There are sliding doors that can block out noise~ There are also free yukata available for rent to use for hot springs, and a swimming pool on the rooftop~ Truly a great hotel!"

"Around 5 minutes walk from Beppu JR station. Seems quite a new building so furnishing is relatively clean and lift is working well. However room is smallish - have to find space to place open luggage, typical of this hotel chain. No daily cleaning but lets guest picks 5 items to the basic room amenities. Staff is young and friendly when being approached."

"Facilities: We booked a family room, which came with a microwave, a kettle, a baby crib, a small sofa, some toys, and a baby toilet seat. It's really well-suited for families with young children. The downside is that the air conditioning in the room couldn't be adjusted, and the duvet on the bed was incredibly stuffy, making me wake up feeling hot every night. Hygiene: The room's cleanliness was excellent, which was reassuring. Environment: The hotel's location is fantastic; it's a short walk to the JR station, and there are supermarkets, cafes, and more nearby. It's a few hundred meters from the train station, and it's quiet despite being set back from the main road. **Environment:** It's a traditional Japanese hotel with an elevator up to the seventh floor. Being right by the sea is very convenient. I haven't slept on a futon in a long time and was worried I wouldn't get used to it, but it was actually quite comfortable. The mattress was thick and not cold. There was a faint tatami mat smell, which I personally found acceptable. I was assigned a corner room, so I could also see the sea from another wall, which was lovely. **Service:** The service was decent. The restaurant staff were particularly warm and welcoming. Just a heads-up, check-in is from 3-6 PM, and the latest entry for dinner is 7 PM, so plan accordingly. **Facilities:** The outdoor onsen on the top floor offers beautiful sea views. The indoor onsen on the third floor is quite spacious and wasn't crowded at all. **Food:** Dinner was excellent, with a good variety including sashimi, wagyu beef, and tempura. Breakfast leaned a bit more vegetarian but was also very tasty."

"This onsen hotel boasts a superb location right next to MIDOBARU, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and sightseeing. I booked two rooms in advance for this trip. The hotel doesn't have a huge variety of room types, sticking to an authentic Japanese style, which creates a very quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast really deserves a special mention; it's a genuine Japanese morning meal with a rich selection and excellent taste, definitely worth trying. However, a heads-up about dinner: make sure to confirm beforehand whether you're getting a Japanese or Western set menu. I didn't clarify this when I booked and accidentally chose the wrong one, which was a bit of a shame. The hotel staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, providing a great service experience. While the facilities overall lean towards the older side, compared to many other onsen hotels in Beppu, this one is actually relatively new. It has a strong Japanese ambiance, and the hot spring experience is also good. Overall, the value for money is quite decent."

"The room was huge! And clean. The staff was very patient in explaining things. The hotel itself was within walking distance to Takegawara onsen (where you can do the sand bath). Did I say the room was huge? There are a few parking options nearby but the one closest (behind) the hotel has limited lots."

"For my winter break trip to Japan, I continued exploring Kyushu, specifically Beppu and Yufuin. In Beppu, I stayed at this established onsen hotel. It wasn't expensive, and when I booked, it was the last room available. I kept checking countless times to see if a larger room would open up, but none did. My husband, due to his state-owned company job, couldn't travel, so it was just me and my son, which ended up being perfectly fine. The hotel initially even set up three futons for us in the tatami room. The onsen was very relaxing. There were a lot of Korean guests at the hotel; I noticed them all at breakfast. Our room had a sea view, which I really liked. For housekeeping, they only offer free cleaning on the third day if you stay for three consecutive nights. Otherwise, it costs 3000 yen per cleaning. We figured it wasn't worth it since we didn't have much trash anyway, and I didn't bother making the bed. The hot springs also offered sea views, though we only used them at night. Soaking in them before bed was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was a buffet with a good variety of local Kyushu dishes. I ate there for two days straight and didn't get tired of it. In terms of transportation, it's about a 100-meter walk from the Beppu bus terminal if you're coming from Fukuoka. The JR station is also only about a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient. Overall, I think it offers pretty good value for money."

"Celebrated 520 (May 20th) by booking a more upscale meal that day, and the experience was great ❤️. The location is fantastic! It's a 5-minute walk to Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell), so we went straight there after breakfast when it was less crowded. Regarding service, I have to say: it was the rainy season, and there were many staff members standing at the entrance, but they only bowed. It felt awkward watching adults and children run into the hotel in the rain to check in, and checking out involved carrying our own luggage in the rain too."

"extremely close to beppu station which takes around 2 mins walk. staffs are polite and very helpful. the hotel is clean, and has a lovely and cozy atmosphere. moreover, they have luggage storage service which is very convenient. i had an amazing stay and will definitely stay here again if i have a chance to come to beppu. thank you!"
