"The service was excellent, I arrived at 5am in the morning from Singapore, and although there wasn't any room available for early check-in, the staff was kind and nice to offer me free breakfast. And knowing I am tired from the travelling, they gave me the room at the earliest. The room is great, the breakfast is fantastic, would highly recommend to anyone coming to Mexico City."

"We had trouble accessing the internet on arrival and it took quuite awhile for their tech support to correct. We weren't alone but eventually we got access. Coffee in the room is a challenge as only one day during our 5 night stay did we get regular coffee to brew in the room. The other days it was Nescafe decaf instant. The staff were very accommodating, the room was clean, and the pool was a welcome oasis after walking around all day."

"The staff and reception were very friendly, and the food at the breakfast and cafeteria was delicious. Also, the tourist sites are close by, so I highly recommend it! The only downsides were that the internet connection in the room was poor, and there was no refrigerator."

"Really great location and the pods provide privacy and there are lots of social events at the hostel. Breakfast is good, quite a few options. Good views of the cities. Only downside is that there isn’t a laundry and the kitchen facilities are super basic, mainly just a microwave and plates and cutlery."

"Checked in on the 21st and checked out on the 24th. I wanted to check out a day early because I had a flight to catch on the 24th and there was a big strike in Mexico City, but the hotel wouldn't agree no matter how I tried to negotiate, which left a bit of a bad taste. Overall, the hotel was just okay. Breakfast was mediocre, the coffee was bland, and there was nothing particularly outstanding about it. Perhaps its only redeeming quality is its proximity to the Zócalo."

"The room was clean and the location was excellent, right in the city center. Syntagma Square is just a 5-minute walk away, and the hotel is right next to a metro interchange for lines 1 and 2, making getting around very convenient. However, the hotel facilities are a bit basic; there's nothing extra. The lobby has a few tables where you can eat food you've bought before heading upstairs. I was initially worried about the lack of air conditioning, but the weather here is quite cool, so it wasn't a big issue."

"A conveniently located hotel in the heart of Mexico City. Easy access to walk to main attractions and multiple restaurants. A great buffet breakfast offered in the hotel restaurant. Room was clean, comfortable, and maintained daily. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us with booking day tours. We visited during Fifa World Cup and Mexico City did a fabulous job hosting the events. The city was lively and decorated nicely."

"This is the second time to stay at this hotel. I traveled to Mexico six years ago and was deeply impressed by this old hotel. . . The internal environment of the old hotel is impeccably beautiful, but the facilities in the guest rooms are too outdated. The security scope of the gate square has been ”expanded”, and it is not very convenient to get in and out to call a taxi~"

"Hotel in a good location to go anywhere in the historic district. It was a room that did not feel oppressive even though the ceiling was high and narrow. The bed was unusually high. The bathroom step is also high, so I had to make sure I didn't fall inadvertently ... I was nervous. Amenities are shampoo and soap. There is no treatment, so if you need it, I recommend bringing it. There was a hair dryer. I was worried about the smell of the exhaust port, so I made it clean 4."
