This is my fourth stay here. The location is excellent, right in the alley next to Seremban, close to the main road. You'll find a lot of Indian and Korean people around here.
Facilities: Overall, they're pretty decent, especially considering it was 400 a night during peak season. The hotel is quite old, but well-maintained. The only issue was the shower. I was on the 7th floor, and for some reason, the hot water was scalding, and the water pressure was a bit low. The pool is nice and not crowded, but the gym equipment is very outdated.
Service: Generally, the staff are friendly and the service is good. However, there's always one bad apple. In the mornings at the gym, there was an old man, wearing a hat and a staff short-sleeved top, who would come in, sit down, and watch videos on his phone with the volume turned up loud. I was quite surprised that a staff member would do something like that!

I stayed here for business and was really impressed by the amenities, specifically the pool area. It’s often hard to find a pool in Bangkok decent enough for actual swimming, but this one was perfect. The water was crystal clear and the length was decent for getting in a workout (freestyle and breaststroke). It’s a peaceful break from the busy city below. Solid service and cleanliness overall, but the swim experience makes me want to come back.

The advantage of this hotel is the location and all the nearby food, health massage centre, shopping mall. However, this hotel is very run down, compare to it's photo posted. The light in the lobby, lift, corridor and room is very dim. There is some smell in the corridor. In the middle of the night, you can easily hear the door banging or some water run through the pipe. Even in the room, some cabinet has broken and not been fixed. Worst still, the aircon temperature cannot be adjusted. If we feel cold, called the receptionist and they will send technical to adjust for you. Like wise, if feel hot, technician will appear again to adjust to the temperature you need. It is very hard to imagine. However, my room is on the 30th floor and offered a spectacular view.

If you book here you are budget conscious and want to convenience of being in the city center with less than a 5 minute walk to terminal 21, shops, restaurants. If budget isn’t on your mind, I’d suggest you book the Westin which is nearby.
The room was small but adequate. Comfy bed, mini fridge, large but dimly lit bathroom. No hand soap but had shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush. The ceiling isn’t that high so if you’re tall you may an issue. Overall you want a place to sleep and shower but be in the city center then this is a good spot for a short term stay.

The staff are very friendly and provide good service. They also recommend places to visit. We went to Benjakitti Park. It is very big and very close, easy to walk there.
This time we stayed in the Economy room. The room was clean and the hotel provided all necessary amenities.
There is a fitness center with new equipment and good machines. There is also a swimming pool and a table tennis table. The hotel provides tuk-tuk shuttle service, very convenient.
Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The hotel is old and needs major renovation. The hallway do not have AC. Soon as you come out of your room, you’re hit with 42c (110F) temperature . For a 5 star hotel, this is not acceptable. Bangkok is hot and humid enough. We should feel cool within the hotel not hot.

Newly build hotel located at Ramkhamhaeng Road. Now they are on pre-opening period so you might not get full service from them. Closed to Huamark Center and Big C. Convenient store is on the ground floor with 24 hrs which is great. Not close to any BTS or MRT. Nice compact room with city view. Good WIFI connection. Water pressure in bathroom is not strong but not bad.

We were warmly greeted by the staff upon arrival, and all our luggage was promptly collected. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to a lovely receptionist who even wished me a happy birthday. Although there were no ironing facilities in our room as she initially mentioned, but the issue was quickly resolved when we called “0” and had the iron delivered to our room. We were assigned a room on the 21st floor, which is on the executive level, and we noticed the executive lounge. However we were unsure if we had access to it, as it wasn't mentioned during check-in? The hotel is conveniently located near shopping malls, Jodd fairs, and the Ganesha shrine, which made exploring the area easy. The gym facilities were excellent, the breakfast spread was average to us, and the staff in both the lobby and restaurant were friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful, especially the lobby and entrance. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a good layout. It was far from tired or old as some other reviews suggest to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the thoughtful birthday card and cake. However, there were a couple of downsides. First, there were no power plugs near the bedside table, which made it inconvenient for charging our phones. We had to use outlets above the kettle area or near the bottom of the bed. Given the master controller already installed in the room, it would be great to add USB ports by the bedside for easier charging. Secondly, we found it odd that housekeeping left a card in the morning, even though the ”Do Not Disturb” sign was on our door. We’ve stayed in many hotels worldwide, and typically, this kind of notice is left in the afternoon, usually after 3pm. We went for breakfast around 9am and returned around 10am, only to find the card under our door. To be honest, we found this a bit strange — are guests expected to leave early in the morning!? Of course, we understand we can contact you for housekeeping services, but receiving a card this early felt unnecessary. Overall, our experience was positive, and we would certainly return the next time we’re in Huai Khwang.

We had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better. Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It is off the beaten path down a few alleys, but there is a shuttle bus that can take you back-and-forth every 30 minutes or you can just call a Grab. Has a beautiful pool and a weamend only hot spring you can book with a cold plunge pool if you’re interested. I didn’t try the breakfast. Delivery is too easy and the variety is better. The hotel room came with a microwave and a refrigerator, which is extremely helpful if you’re ordering and takeout and have leftovers. Everyone was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Excellent Stay at Furama Silom – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at Furama Silom in Bangkok, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and great city views. The rooftop pool was a highlight, offering a stunning panoramic view of Bangkok – perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options, both local and international, and everything was fresh and delicious. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests or recommendations. Their hospitality made me feel truly welcomed. Overall, Furama Silom provides excellent value for money, combining comfort, great amenities, and top-notch service. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok!
