I extended the stay for an extra day due to work needs. The maid came in and did the job, but did not empty 1 bin, and did not refill the fridge.
The pillows had old yellow marks which doesn't look good, the bathroom had water and leakage marks.
Overall it's ok for a 1-2 nights stay because of work, not nice for a longer holiday or a family trip I' d say.
Our company has been booking here since before Covid, and although some rooms were renovated, it's still not in good shape.
The reception staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, check-in + extension + check-out everything went well and quickly handled.

The hotel is very convenient to take mrt or bts . Just go up from this hotel staircase can reach bts station and this hotel is right opposite of Terminal 21 shopping mall which is very convenient to buy things. Anywhere we go just took bts / mrt to get to the tourist famous places.

It was okay, though the breakfast was just so-so. But the environment was nice, and the bed was comfortable, so I felt good. The location is close to the MRT and near the T21 shopping mall, making shopping convenient. I'd recommend it for family trips, and it's also very convenient for business travel.

Sewage smell in the room on the 1st night of stay. Feedback to the hotel via email as it was already late for change of room and the hotel acceded to our request. The room is ok but the bathroom needs improvements. Though I brought my own disposable towels, the towel provided looks unclean and it turned yellow. The holder of shower is loose. The holder for the shower gel and shampoo came off. Regardless of the above, the hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

The front officer is nice and helpful, location is great. The room is not what I see in the picture, quitt old, the toilet floor is a bit damaged, the towel is old. The breakfast need also an improvement, I feel like eating left over food. The jam and bread was sitting under the sun which I have a concern on it. And the staff didn mention I can order the fried eggs until the last day I ask them. I have to go out find a breakfast place on the next day. I stayed there few years ago which think was good but this time is quite disappointing, specially on my wedding anniversary.

Spent one night here got up early the next morning 6 AM was checking out. They have to go and check the room to make sure everything‘s OK and everything looks good before you leave in order to get your deposit back deposit was ฿500. I had spilled water from a cleansing kit on the bed and so there was a little water spot. It wasn’t dirty. It was just water and she wanted to charge me ฿500 to have the sheets cleaned. I told her she has to have the sheets cleaned anyways and it’s only water. Needless to say I argued with her and I ended up giving her ฿100 for cleaning the bedsheets which has to be done anyway anyways I would never recommend this hotel. I would never stay here again.

When i check in there was one woman on reception and she wasnt that kind. It was clean but inside the capsule it was so humid everything felt kinda wet. It was so hot inside capsule and there was only fan inside it has so much noise when you put it on full power i didnt knew if i need open the capsule door or close to make it more cool. And 500 baht for deposit is not necessary when i already paid for the bed.

Getting to the hotel by taxi can be a bit roundabout, but the location is incredibly convenient, right next to the MRT Sukhumvit Station and BTS Asok Station if you turn right out of the hotel. There's an escalator in the lobby that leads directly to the second floor entrance of Terminal 21 mall (it's usually open until 1 AM). The hotel boasts excellent, free-to-use sports facilities; the tennis court requires a reservation (you can borrow rackets, but tennis balls need to be purchased, though they aren't expensive). The swimming pool is also fantastic!
The in-room facilities are a bit less impressive. The soundproofing is decent, but there's a slightly stale smell upon entering the room, likely due to older air conditioning ducts, and the AC unit can be a bit noisy.

The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the subway station. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is great for shopping. The breakfast spread is fantastic and available until 2 PM, so you can skip lunch! The rooftop view is also lovely. The room itself was clean, bright, and tidy.

Ttan lip cheowThe checkin is fast and seamless and room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing deliciously with Christmas special, a wide spread to choose Thai, Japanese and Western. The Pastry is a must try for sweet tooth’s. Location is perfect, as we just to walk 10mins to both Siam Paragon or Central Embassy. BTS is right outside and if you need a prayer at Doorstep of Erawan shine. Suggest to choose a higher floor room, as it can be noisy road traffic.

GGuest UserThe hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night.
While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue.
The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

ZZaichuangxintianyaThe location is pretty good, with EM Mall right next door, making dining, shopping, and entertainment incredibly convenient. However, it's a bit of a trek to Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy. While Bangkok has bike-sharing services like Hello Ride, they're not very practical due to the lack of dedicated bike lanes and the requirement to return bikes to fixed locations. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the staff are all very professional and enthusiastic. Although the price was a bit higher during Chinese New Year, it's still a highly recommended hotel offering great value for money in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area.

The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.

В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.

Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля.

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.

1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course)
2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions.
3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned
