Amazing
JJayshi1211I recently stayed at the EVEN Hotel Austin Downtown near the Domain, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major highways. Whether you're here for business or leisure, everything you need is just minutes away. The room was spacious, clean, and designed for comfort. The bed was exceptionally cozy, and I loved the modern, wellness-focused amenities, like in-room workout equipment. The overall vibe was refreshing and relaxing. One of the best parts? The value for money is outstanding. Compared to other hotels in the area, EVEN Hotel offers great rates without sacrificing quality. Plus, the parking lot is huge—no stressful circling for a spot, which is a rare perk in downtown areas. If you’re looking for a convenient, comfortable, and reasonably priced stay in Austin, I highly recommend EVEN Hotel!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free, allowing me to start relaxing right away. My room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect rest after a long day of travel. The room’s modern amenities, including a large flat-screen TV and fast Wi-Fi, made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the complimentary breakfast offered each morning. The selection was impressive, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Whether I was in the mood for something light like fresh fruit and yogurt or something more hearty like waffles and eggs, there was always something delicious to start my day off right. The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, being just minutes away from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The complimentary shuttle service was a huge convenience, making my travel to and from the airport effortless. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, ensuring a restful stay. The hotel’s amenities, including the well-maintained fitness center and inviting outdoor pool, added to the overall experience. It was nice to have these options available to unwind after a busy day. Overall, my stay at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Airport was excellent. The combination of clean, comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and convenient location made it an ideal choice for my trip. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Austin, and I look forward to returning on my next visit!

GGuest UserConsistently lovely hotel with consistently good service. The juevos rancheros I ordered and had delivered to my room were incredibly good! And the coffee was nice and strong ….. glad I asked for extra cream and sugars ! Great location near the Arboretum stores and shops at the Domain . Also close to Whole Foods, H‑E‑B grocery store, Gateway movie theater, and lots of good restaurants, many within walking distance.. Large rooms, bathroom stocked with Aveda products. (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap for hands) was a very nice touch! The only thing I didn’t like was they have recently started charging for self parking in their uncovered lot ….. I paid $20 on 1/31/24. I don’t like that at all. Just put the price in your room rate and say free parking!

JJasper LoOur experience was solid. Here are my pros and cons Pros: The pricing was fair. Rooms, for the most part, are clean and maintained. Rooms are spacious. The position of the aircon is good, doesn't blow straight at you like some other places. The Room didn't smell. Both the shower and sink have good water pressure. The service was solid, the lady we met was welcoming and she got straight to the point. Rooms are equipped with a microwave and fridge which is convenient. The beds are spacious and the mattress is supportive. Cons. The carpet in the room as well as the tiles in the bathroom are a bit sticky. Not sure if that's due to the high moisture or if they are not cleaned well. Some might find it nasty. The gym only has a cable machine which is alright but some more equipment would have been much better. They advertise saying they have a great breakfast however it isn't anything crazy. Just some eggs, waffles that you have to make yourself, and some coffee. Not much variety overall. This is nitpicky, but the furniture is a bit old and could use some polish/maintenance. The biggest con for me was the location, its located right beside the frontage road which is in theory good, but during rush hour the road becomes completely jammed with cars. Especially at the time of writing this review because there is a lot of construction going on nearby so driving in and out of the residence can be dangerous and annoying. Overall: This place is great for staying a couple nights on a short trip however I wouldn't recommend staying here long term. Its safe and has mostly everything you need.

EExpatCambria is a newer hotel amidst the redevelopment projects taking place near Rainey Street, a historic landmark of homes turned into entertainment venues. Cambria is opposite side of the spectrum with innovative decor and relaxation. Note that parking costs 49USD per day with valet access only. We chose not to rent a car based on our needs in Austin. Came to visit my son and his family with my eldest son, so we wanted to have some options near nightlife activities. Local drivers shared info on the changes made to the nearby historic street, and staff was friendly with all needs. The water statiins were a plus. Where I think Cambria can improve is in the price of the rooms, menu items and operation hours of their lobby bar/roof bar since staff was short during our stay. Walking to the entertainment street required the back alley short trek, and that aspect took away from the lush atmosphere of the hotel. Grafitti and Limestone hotel venues can easily adjust their marketung strategies towards in-house entertainment along with the Valet arrangement to flow more smoothly and affordably. It’s a lovely hotel which can become full circle staycation with a few adjustments regarding that aspect. New business developments working alongside grass roots businesses is key to smooth changes for both visitors and long-time locals. The pool atmosphere is great, the gym is clean, and the first floor waiting area an easy meeting spot.

GGwenyvere9Check-in was a breeze and Veronica at the front desk was very pleasant. Once in the room, because I cleaned up water spilt on the floor, I found the white toilet paper turned absolutely black AND with ***** hairs on it to boot. All this within 1sq ft. I called the lobby and asked how often the floors were mopped. I was told “every day.” I related what I had found to the contrary and was asked if I wished to change rooms to which I said “yes!”. When I went down to retrieve the new key, I took the wadded toilet paper with me and she took a picture of it before throwing it in the garbage! There were two very large, well lit, vending machines in a hallway off the main lobby, and the ice machine was in good working order and the ice, clean and solidly frozen. I decided I was too tired to check and see if the new rooms’ floor was dirty or not so I proceeded to not ever walk on the floor with my bare feet. The day manager, Mari, was very nice and the coffee was hot fresh out of the thermos on the side table…hot water and tea bags also available. If you detest “sweet ‘n low” bring your own natural sugar. I ran into the head of housekeeping and happened to mention how disgustingly dirty the floors were in my first room, and I informed her that the night manager had taken a picture of what I had wiped up on my piece of toilet paper and she said she would go and ask to see it. I later learned that Mayra had indeed done so. So that was good attention to detail. Everything in the room worked fine including the remote and TV, the microwave was spotless and looked brand new and it even had a childproof lock on it for those families traveling with curious offspring that haven’t internalized the meaning of “NO” yet 😵💫. The refrigerator was spotless and new looking as well. WiFi was strong and reliable. I walked by the pool, which I noticed was closed (understandable for this time of year!). It was full of water, but I must say that it looked the equivalent of a Louisiana swamp and I was prepared to see a ‘gator come climbing up those darkened, slimy stairs at any point in time.😆 The parking lot at night is VERY well lit around the entire property which is a very welcome sight! Being right off the interstate doesn’t provide for any exciting venues to walk to but there IS a wonderful grocery store (HEB) .7miles away straight down Rundeburg on Lamar/Rundeburg. Other than that there are a plethora of food trucks doling out South American ‘cuisine’ just yards from the front of the hotel as well as across the street. I didn’t try any of them so cannot opine. I hope this was worth the read, if indeed you got this far! Cheers!🥂
